  • Connor Brown RW | NJ

Oilers' Connor Brown: Grabs helper Sunday

Brown notched an assist and blocked two shots in Sunday's 3-1 win over the Senators.

Brown has three goals and three assists over his last six outings. The 30-year-old winger shouldn't be expected to add consistent offense from the third line, but he can chip in as a depth scorer while staying in the lineup for his steady defensive play. He's now at 14 points, 52 shots on net, 19 blocked shots and a plus-5 rating over 34 appearances, two points better than his performance over 71 regular-season contests in 2023-24.

  • Oilers' Connor McDavid: Point streak up to nine games

McDavid logged an assist and two shots on goal in Sunday's 3-1 win over the Senators.

McDavid has three goals and 15 helpers during his nine-game point streak, with his latest contribution being the set-up for Viktor Arvidsson's first-period tally. It's not unusual for McDavid to be assist-heavy -- he had 100 apples last season and has finished with no fewer than 63 helpers in any of the last eight campaigns, despite also having a 64-goal season to his name. This year, he's at 15 tallies, 34 assists, 13 power-play points, 100 shots on net and a plus-12 rating through 31 contests.

  • Oilers' Leon Draisaitl: Provides power-play helper

Draisaitl notched a power-play assist and two shots on goal in Sunday's 3-1 win over the Senators.

Draisaitl kept his point streak going at nine games (seven goals, 13 assists) when he earned the secondary helper on Zach Hyman's second-period tally. The 29-year-old Draisaitl's 52 points are tied with the Avalanche's Mikko Rantanen for second in the NHL, five points back of Rantanen's teammate, Nathan MacKinnon. Draisaitl has 14 power-play points, 104 shots on net and a plus-19 rating through 34 appearances as he continues his march toward a fourth straight 100-point campaign.

  • Oilers' Adam Henrique: Scores in Sunday's win

Henrique scored a goal on three shots and blocked two shots in Sunday's 3-1 win over the Senators.

The goal was Henrique's first since Nov. 16 versus the Maple Leafs. It also ended a seven-game point drought for the center, who has struggled to produce consistent offense in a third-line role this season. He's at 10 points, 56 shots on net, 33 blocked shots, 22 hits and a plus-5 rating through 34 appearances.

  • Zach Hyman C | EDM

Oilers' Zach Hyman: Tallies on power play Sunday

Hyman scored a power-play goal and added two PIM in Sunday's 3-1 win over the Senators.

Hyman's scored in six straight games and eight of his last nine, tallying 10 goals with one assist and a plus-9 rating in that span. That's the kind of production fantasy managers expected when taking him with an early-round pick, but they had to be patient after the winger slumped early in 2024-25. He's back now, and he's at 13 goals, 19 points (six on the power play), 82 shots on net, 27 hits and a plus-9 rating through 29 outings overall.

  • Adam Edstrom C | NYR

Rangers' Adam Edstrom: Notches assist against Carolina

Edstrom recorded an assist, three hits and two shots on goal in Sunday's 3-1 loss to the Hurricanes.

The 24-year-old assisted on Jimmy Vesey's goal 17 seconds into Sunday's game, marking the first time Edstrom has gotten on the scoresheet since Nov. 27, when he logged a goal against Carolina. Edstrom regularly sees fourth-line minutes and has been limited to two goals and two assists to go with 58 hits while averaging 8:58 of ice time over his first 33 appearances of the season. The Swede's unlikely to move up significantly from his fourth-line role, which limits his fantasy value.

  • Hurricanes' Jack Roslovic: Scores game-winning goal

Roslovic scored the game-winning goal while adding four hits in 12:16 of ice time during Sunday's 3-1 win over the Rangers.

Roslovic has cooled off since a hot start to the season that saw him rack up nine goals and 10 points over the first 12 games, as he's now logged just two goals and two assists over eight appearances in December. However, the 27-year-old recorded his second game-winning goal of the season Sunday and has now gotten on the scoresheet twice in his last three games. Roslovic had a fourth-line role in recent appearances, but it was encouraging to see him reclaim a spot on the top line against the Rangers. Although Roslovic's production has become more inconsistent as the season has progressed, he continues to see regular time on the power play and his fantasy upside would grow if he can stay on the top line.

  • Capitals' Connor McMichael: Contributes helper Sunday

McMichael logged an assist, two blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Sunday's 3-1 win over the Kings.

McMichael has gone 10 games without a multi-point effort, but he has three goals and three assists in that span. The 23-year-old helped out on the first of Aliaksei Protas' two goals in this contest. McMichael is up to 16 goals, 13 helpers, 92 shots on net and a plus-12 rating over 33 appearances in 2024-25. It's a strong pace, though his 17.4 shooting percentage is likely to dip, but McMichael is established as a key part of the Capitals' top six now.

  • Jakub Vrana C | NSH

Capitals' Jakub Vrana: Finds twine on power play

Vrana scored a power-play goal in Sunday's 3-1 win over the Kings.

Vrana has gotten on the scoresheet in three straight games. He's in the lineup because Lars Eller (illness) is on injured reserve, and Vrana has made the most of his opportunity after being scratched for 10 games between Nov. 23 and Dec. 14. The winger is at six goals, 10 points, 22 shots on net, 10 hits and a plus-5 rating through 20 appearances this season.

  • Capitals' Aliaksei Protas: Scores twice Sunday

Protas scored two goals on four shots in Sunday's 3-1 win over the Kings.

Protas opened and closed the scoring Sunday. His first goal came midway through the first period, and he added an empty-netter in the final minute of the third to finish off the win. The 23-year-old has six goals and two assists over nine outings in December as he continues to maintain a top-six spot with little power-play time. Protas has matched his career high with 29 points, doing so in just 33 games this year compared to 78 appearances in 2023-24. He's added 63 shots on net and a plus-18 rating.
