  • Predators' Juuso Parssinen: Losing playing time

Parssinen was scratched for the eighth time in 11 games when he sat out Saturday's 5-2 loss to the Avalanche.

Injuries opened the door for Parssinen to play in November, but he didn't do enough to stay in the lineup when he had the chance. He's at five points, 11 shots on net, 28 hits and a minus-8 rating through 15 appearances this season. For now, the Predators appear content with letting Zachary L'Heureux get a longer look in a middle-six role, so there's no telling when Parssinen might get another chance.

  • Predators' Colton Sissons: Slumping again

Sissons was held off the scoresheet for the 15th straight game in Saturday's 5-2 loss to the Avalanche.

Sissons isn't known for his offense, but he's having a terrible year on a team that has seen plenty of that in 2024-25. The 31-year-old has just two goals with 27 shots on net, 39 hits, 35 blocked shots and a minus-15 rating through 30 appearances. Sissons had reached the 30-point mark in each of the last two seasons, but a fourth-line role on a low-scoring team makes him a non-factor in fantasy now.

  • Predators' Steven Stamkos: Scores in Saturday's loss

Stamkos scored a goal on five shots and went minus-2 in Saturday's 5-2 loss to the Avalanche.

Stamkos has a goal and two assists over the last three games. The 34-year-old has returned to center, playing on the top line even with Ryan O'Reilly back from a lower-body injury. Stamkos is up to eight goals, 16 points, 73 shots on net, 27 hits, 20 PIM and a minus-15 rating through 31 appearances. He's too good to slip out of the top six, but Stamkos is on pace for one of the roughest healthy seasons of his career.

  • Ross Colton C | COL

Avalanche's Ross Colton: Gets 10th goal in win

Colton scored a goal and added four hits in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Predators.

Colton has two goals over five games since returning from a broken foot. His tally Saturday was his 10th of the campaign, though he's added just one assist over 15 contests. He also plays a physical game, with 40 hits and 44 shots on net, though he has yet to take a penalty while often skating in a second-line role this season.

  • Jordan Kyrou C | STL

Blues' Jordan Kyrou: Scores lone goal in overtime loss

Kyrou scored a goal on two shots in Saturday's 2-1 overtime loss to the Stars.

Kyrou has scored in three straight games and has five goals and an assist over six outings in December. The 26-year-old winger seems to be adjusting well to head coach Jim Montgomery's system. Kyrou is up to 12 tallies, 26 points, 89 shots on net, 21 hits and a plus-4 rating over 31 appearances this season.

  • Blue Jackets' Cole Sillinger: Pots goal Saturday

Sillinger scored a goal on three shots, added two hits and went minus-3 in Saturday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Ducks.

Sillinger ended a three-game slump with his first-period tally. The Blue Jackets have been shuffling Sillinger and Adam Fantilli between the second and third lines lately, though that's not as much of a problem since the team has been surprisingly effective on offense. Sillinger is at five goals, 19 points, 70 shots on net, 38 hits and a minus-7 rating through 29 appearances and should be a decent depth option in fantasy for the year.

  • Bo Horvat C | NYI

Islanders' Bo Horvat: Not playing Sunday

Horvat (lower body) won't play against Chicago on Sunday, according to Stefen Rosner of NHL.com.

Horvat is day-to-day and will miss at least one game. He has accounted for eight goals, 22 points and 86 shots on net across 31 appearances this campaign. Mathew Barzal (upper body) will replace Horvat in Sunday's lineup.

  • Robby Fabbri C | MIN

Ducks' Robby Fabbri: Dishes two helpers

Fabbri logged two assists, two PIM and a plus-2 rating in Saturday's 4-3 overtime win over the Blue Jackets.

This was Fabbri's second game back after a four-week absence due to a knee surgery, which he returned from two weeks earlier than initially expected. The 28-year-old has slotted into a third-line role upon his return, averaging 16:13 of ice time over those two contests. The winger is at four points, 16 shots on net, 31 hits, 13 blocked shots and a minus-6 rating through 16 appearances. Fabbri will have to show more consistency on offense before he'll be a serious option for many fantasy managers.

  • Ducks' Mason McTavish: Provides opening goal

McTavish scored a goal on three shots, blocked two shots and added two PIM in Saturday's 4-3 overtime win over the Blue Jackets.

The goal was McTavish's first since Nov. 8, which was his last appearance prior to a six-game absence due to an upper-body injury. He's also logged three assists across 10 games since his return. The 21-year-old continues to fill a third-line role and has a total of three goals, nine helpers, 39 shots on net, 21 hits, 16 PIM and a minus-8 rating over 23 appearances this season.

  • Aatu Raty C | VAN

Canucks' Aatu Raty: Assigned to Abbotsford

Raty was reassigned to AHL Abbotsford on Sunday.

Raty was recalled prior to Saturday's matchup with the Bruins, though he served as a healthy scratch. The 22-year-old Raty has two goals and four points in 20 games with Vancouver this year.
