Noel Acciari C | PIT
Penguins' Noel Acciari: Plays physical in overtime loss
Acciari notched an assist and six hits in Saturday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Senators.
Acciari has a goal and an assist over the last two games after going 14 contests without a point. His six hits Saturday were also a season high, though it isn't unusual for the 33-year-old to bring a physical element to his fourth-line role. Acciari has seven points over 32 games -- matching his production from 55 outings a year ago -- while adding 34 shots on net, 70 hits, 38 blocked shots and a minus-10 rating this season.

Adam Gaudette C | SJ
Senators' Adam Gaudette: Grabs helper Saturday
Gaudette produced an assist and two shots on goal in Saturday's 3-2 overtime win over the Penguins.
Gaudette has a goal and two assists over his last five contests. He's started to see ice time more in line with his current second-line role as well, topping 13 minutes in three of the last four games. The 28-year-old forward is up to 16 points, 39 shots on net, 26 hits and a plus-4 rating over 29 outings as a pleasant surprise in the depth-scoring department for the Senators.

Zach Hyman C | EDM
Oilers' Zach Hyman: Scores again Saturday
Hyman scored a goal on two shots in Saturday's 6-3 win over the Golden Knights.
Hyman has five goals over five games since he returned from an undisclosed injury. The Oilers have won all of those games -- getting Hyman's finishing touch on track after his absence appears to have done wonders for the team. He's now at eight goals, five helpers, 69 shots on net, 23 hits and a plus-5 rating over 25 appearances this season.

Craig Smith C | DET
Blackhawks' Craig Smith: Unlikely to play Sunday
Smith (back) is unlikely to suit up Sunday against the Islanders, Charlie Roumeliotis of WGN Radio reports.
Smith appears in line to miss a third straight game as he continues to nurse a back issue. Joey Anderson figures to enter the lineup Sunday with Frank Nazar remaining on Chicago's second line.

Mathew Barzal C | NYI
Islanders' Mathew Barzal: Removed from LTIR
Barzal (upper body) was activated from long-term injured reserve Sunday, per the NHL media site.
Barzal will presumably return to the lineup against Chicago on Sunday after missing the last 21 games. He has generated two goals, three assists and 23 shots on net through 10 appearances this season. Barzal will likely slot back in on the top line and first power-play unit versus the Blackhawks.

Nathan MacKinnon C | COL
Avalanche's Nathan MacKinnon: Three points against Preds
MacKinnon scored two goals and added an assist in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Predators.
The Avs' top line of MacKinnon, Artturi Lehkonen and Mikko Rantanen accounted for four goals and eight points on the night, dominating play after Ross Colton gave the team a 1-0 lead midway through the second period. MacKinnon has produced at least three points in three of the last seven games, racking up six goals and 14 points over that stretch to surge to the top of the NHL scoring race with 50 points (13 goals, 37 helpers) in 32 contests.

Matt Duchene C | DAL
Stars' Matt Duchene: Pots OT winner Saturday
Duchene scored the game-winning goal in overtime during Saturday's 2-1 win over the Blues.
The veteran center took the puck deep in own end and rushed the length of the ice, getting around the corner against two St. Louis defenders and flipping a forehand shot past Jordan Binnington for the OT winner. Duchene is up to 13 goals in 29 appearances, and four of them have been GWGs -- his career high in that category is seven, set just last season. With 30 points, he's also on pace for his first 80-point campaign since 2021-22.

Zack Ostapchuk C | SJ
Senators' Zack Ostapchuk: Sent to minors
Ostapchuk was loaned to AHL Belleville on Sunday.
Ostapchuk has two assists and 34 hits in 16 NHL appearances this season. His demotion to the minors is presumably for salary cap reasons. If that is the case, Ostapchuk will likely accompany Ottawa on the team's four-game road trip before the holiday break.
-
Ryan Nugent-Hopkins C | EDM
Oilers' Ryan Nugent-Hopkins: Nets PP goal Saturday
Nugent-Hopkins scored a power-play goal and added an even-strength assist in Saturday's 6-3 win over the Golden Knights.
Nugent-Hopkins opened the scoring for the Oilers on the power play during the first period, and he later set up Zach Hyman's tally to give the Oilers a two-goal lead. The 31-year-old playmaker has been trending in the right direction. RNH has cracked the scoresheet in seven of his last eight appearances, tallying four goals and four assists in that span.

Connor Brown RW | NJ
Oilers' Connor Brown: Scores, assists Saturday
Brown recorded a goal and an assist in Saturday's 6-3 win over the Golden Knights.
Brown has posted back-to-back multi-point performances, but as productive as he has been in that two-game stretch, the 30-year-old winger can't be relied upon for sustained production in most fantasy formats. Brown has 12 points (five goals, seven helpers) in 30 games, but his lack of consistency on a game-to-game basis in a fourth-line role limits his fantasy upside considerably.
