  • Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Pair of points Saturday

Geekie scored a goal on two shots, dished an assist, added two hits and went plus-2 in Saturday's 5-1 win over the Canucks.

Geekie has three goals and two assists over his last five contests. He continues to play alongside David Pastrnak and Pavel Zacha at even strength -- that trio combined for three goals and nine points in this win. Geekie has the least scoring upside of the three, but he's holding his own this year with five tallies, six helpers, 51 shots on net, 40 hits and a minus-7 rating over 27 contests.

  • Pavel Zacha C | BOS

Bruins' Pavel Zacha: Racks up three points in win

Zacha scored a goal on two shots, dished two assists, added two PIM and went plus-3 in Saturday's 5-1 win over the Canucks.

Zacha, David Pastrnak and Morgan Geekie combined for three goals and nine points in the contest. That's good work for one of Boston's top trios. Zacha has five goals and four assists over his last nine contests as he starts to get on track on offense. For the season, the 27-year-old center has eight goals, eight assists, 69 shots on net, 16 hits, 11 PIM and a plus-2 rating over 32 appearances.

  • Flames' Blake Coleman: Finds twine Saturday

Coleman scored a goal on five shots and went plus-2 in Saturday's 3-0 win over the Panthers.

Coleman has two goals and two assists over his last eight games. He provided an insurance tally Saturday with a goal late in the second period. The veteran forward is up to six goals, 13 points, 71 shots on net, 57 hits, 29 blocked shots, 10 PIM and a minus-2 rating over 31 appearances. He's far behind the pace that saw him generate 30 goals and 54 points over 78 outings last year, but his defensive work keeps him in a prominent role for a Flames team that has put an emphasis on playing a tight game.

  • Nazem Kadri C | COL

Flames' Nazem Kadri: Steals and scores

Kadri scored a goal on four shots in Saturday's 3-0 win over the Panthers.

Kadri pickpocketed a Panther and buried the breakaway chance for the opening goal. He's scored in three straight games and has five goals and three assists over his last eight outings. The center is up to 11 tallies, 20 points, 101 shots on net, 22 hits, 28 PIM and a minus-16 rating through 31 appearances in 2024-25 while logging steady top-six minutes.

  • Flames' Mikael Backlund: One of each in win

Backlund scored a goal on two shots, dished an assist, blocked four shots and went plus-2 in Saturday's 3-0 win over the Panthers.

The third-period goal was Backlund's first tally since Nov. 11. He had just three assists over the 14 games between goals -- the Flames' low-scoring offense has left few points to go around this season. Backlund is up to five goals, nine helpers, 84 shots on net, 19 hits, 17 blocked shots and a plus-7 rating over 31 appearances. The 35-year-old continues to be important to the team in all situations, so he will log big minutes whether he generates offense or not.

  • Shane Wright C | SEA

Kraken's Shane Wright: Posts assist in loss

Wright managed a power-play assist and went minus-2 in Saturday's 5-1 loss to the Lightning.

Wright has three goals and four helpers over his last six outings, and three of those seven points have come on the power play. The 20-year-old center is up to 14 points (five on the power play), 27 shots on net, 22 blocked shots and a plus-2 rating through 29 appearances this season. Wright is starting to show some of his immense promise on offense, though he remains limited to a bottom-six role at even strength.

  • Lightning's Luke Glendening: Finds helper late in win

Glendening logged an assist and two shots on goal in Saturday's 5-1 win over the Kraken.

Glendening ended a five-game slump when he set up Declan Carlile's third-period tally. The 35-year-old Glendening has been limited on offense while playing in a fourth-line role throughout this season. He's up to three points, 18 shots on net, 36 hits, 24 blocked shots and a minus-2 rating over 28 appearances. That lack of offense is enough to send fantasy managers searching elsewhere for depth forwards.

  • Lightning's Michael Eyssimont: Nabs helper Saturday

Eyssimont notched an assist, two hits and a plus-2 rating in Saturday's 5-1 win over the Kraken.

Eyssimont snapped a four-game point drought, though he had three goals over four contests prior to the slump. The 28-year-old helped out on Declan Carlile's first NHL goal late in the third period. Eyssimont is up to five points, 52 shots on net, 32 hits, 26 PIM and a minus-1 rating over 27 outings. He's filled a fourth-line role and looks unlikely to replicate his 25-point regular season from 2023-24.

  • Lightning's Jake Guentzel: Collects pair of points in win

Guentzel scored a power-play goal on three shots and added an assist in Saturday's 5-1 win over the Kraken.

Guentzel and Brayden Point had a hand in setting up the other in Saturday's victory. Guentzel has gone six straight games with a goal -- he has eight tallies and two assists in that span, and four of those goals have come on the power play. For the campaign, the 30-year-old winger has 17 goals, 31 points (nine on the power play), 79 shots on net, 27 blocked shots and a plus-8 rating over 28 appearances.

  • Maple Leafs' Auston Matthews: 50 goals in 2024

Matthews scored a power-play goal Saturday in a 4-2 loss to Detroit.

Matthews has 50 goals in 2024, and it's been four straight calendar years with at least 50 for the Toronto captain. He is the ninth player to accomplish the feat, and the record, shared by Wayne Gretzky (1981-87) and Mike Bossy (1978-84), is seven consecutive years. Matthews has nine points (five goals, four assists) and 33 shots in eight games since returning from an upper-body injury. It's only a matter of time before he goes on a tear.
