  • Maple Leafs' Jacob Quillan: Summoned from AHL

Quillan was recalled from AHL Toronto on Monday.

Quillan hasn't earned a point in three NHL outings this season while recording one shot on goal and seven hits. He has notched eight goals and 19 assists in 28 minor-league appearances during the 2025-26 campaign.

  • Oilers' Connor McDavid: Contributes pair of helpers

McDavid notched two assists, four shots on goal and a plus-3 rating in Sunday's 5-0 win over the Blues.

McDavid's 20-game point streak ended in Thursday's 1-0 loss to the Islanders. He's bounced back with three helpers over his last two contests, though he's now gone five contests without a goal, his longest stretch without scoring since he took seven games to find the twine to start the season. Still, he's at 85 points (30 goals, 55 assists) with 186 shots on net and a plus-8 rating through 50 appearances. He's three points ahead of Nathan MacKinnon in the scoring race this season, though McDavid has played in four additional games.

  • Oilers' Ryan Nugent-Hopkins: Scores in 1,000th career game

Nugent-Hopkins scored a power-play goal on three shots in Sunday's 5-0 win over the Blues.

Nugent-Hopkins suited up for his 1,000th regular-season game, and he marked the occasion with a tally just 5:55 into the contest. The goal ended an 11-game goal drought for Nugent-Hopkins, who had eight assists in that span. In his career, he's compiled 283 goals and 505 assists in the regular season, as well as 81 points in 96 playoff outings. The longest-tenured Oiler has racked up 40 points (12 goals, 28 assists), 71 shots on net and a minus-3 rating over 41 appearances in 2025-26.

  • Zach Hyman C | EDM

Oilers' Zach Hyman: Starring role in win

Hyman scored twice on four shots, added an assist and went plus-3 in Sunday's 5-0 win over the Blues.

Hyman has six goals and two assists over his last five contests. He was involved in the Oilers' last three goals in this game. The veteran winger is up to 19 tallies, 12 helpers, 94 shots on net, 32 hits and a plus-10 rating over 31 appearances. Hyman's impressive run of scoring and consistent role alongside Connor McDavid will keep him among the best wingers in fantasy.

  • Blues' Oskar Sundqvist: Sustains cut above ankle

Sundqvist sustained a cut above his ankle that did not damage his Achilles tendon, which forced him to exit Sunday's game versus the Oilers, Jeremy Rutherford of The Athletic reports.

Sundqvist is expected to miss some time, as the cut is deep, but a firm timeline was not provided. The good news is that it's unlikely to be a season-ending injury. Robby Fabbri or Jonatan Berggren will get a chance to play while Sundqvist is out.

Morrison scored two goals in AHL Coachella Valley's 3-0 win over Abbotsford on Sunday.

Morrison is rolling in January with six goals and four assists over eight games. The 23-year-old forward is up to 20 goals and 36 points in 37 outings this season. That puts him fourth in the AHL in goals and 10th in points. Morrison hasn't gotten a call-up to the Kraken yet this season, but he should be in consideration if the big club needs a forward.

  • Shane Pinto C | OTT

    Senators' Shane Pinto: Nets equalizer

Pinto scored a power-play goal in Sunday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Red Wings.

Pinto's tally late in the second period was enough to force overtime, though the Senators weren't able to get the win. The 25-year-old has two goals and two assists over his last six contests while playing in a middle-six role. The center is now at 14 goals, 25 points, 86 shots on net, 45 hits, 23 blocked shots, 24 PIM and an even plus-minus rating over 38 appearances. This was just his second power-play point of the season, so he could elevate his offense if he gets more time in that situation.

  • Dylan Cozens C | OTT

Senators' Dylan Cozens: Scores again Sunday

Cozens scored a power-play goal on three shots in Sunday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Red Wings.

Cozens' blend of offense and physical play remains a good fit for fantasy managers who need help in hits and PIM without sacrificing scoring.
