  • Jets' Morgan Barron: Game-time call versus Wild

According to head coach Scott Arniel, Barron (upper body) "could be a player" for Thursday's clash with Minnesota, Mitchell Clinton of the Jets' official site reports.

Barron has missed the Jets' last three outings due to his upper-body issue, but he seems to be trending in the right direction. Prior to getting hurt, the 27-year-old winger was mired in a seven-game goal drought during which he generated two helpers, 14 shots and 16 hits.

  • Blackhawks' Teuvo Teravainen: Unavailable for Thursday

Teravainen (upper body) will miss Thursday's game against Calgary, per Scott Powers of The Athletic.

Teravainen exited Monday's 4-1 loss to Edmonton because of the injury. He has nine goals and 21 points in 45 outings in 2025-26. Teravainen's exit from the lineup is set to coincide with Connor Bedard's return after missing Monday's clash due to an illness.

  • Bruins' Mark Kastelic: Deposits empty-netter

Kastelic scored an empty-net goal in Tuesday's 3-0 win over the Red Wings.

Kastelic ended a 15-game goal drought with the empty-netter. He had two assists, 44 hits and 49 PIM over that span. The 26-year-old has occupied a bottom-six role for most of the season, so it's no surprise that his scoring contributions are limited. He's put up 14 points -- matching his career-high total from last year -- while adding 62 shots on net, 124 hits, 99 PIM, 41 blocked shots and a plus-5 rating. Kastelic plays tough enough to help in deep fantasy formats.

  • Bruins' Fraser Minten: Scores in Tuesday's win

Minten scored a goal on four shots in Tuesday's 3-0 win over the Red Wings.

Minten has been productive in January, notching five goals and one assist over six games. The 21-year-old's inexperience and third-line role make him a bit of a gamble for fantasy purposes, but he has upside. Minten has 11 goals, 21 points, 64 shots on net, 93 hits, 32 blocked shots and a plus-14 rating over 47 appearances in his first full NHL campaign. He can offer some category coverage in deeper formats.

  • Pavel Zacha C | BOS

Bruins' Pavel Zacha: Pots game-winner Tuesday

Zacha scored a goal on five shots in Tuesday's 3-0 win over the Red Wings.

Zacha scored at 10:59 of the second period, and that was all the Bruins needed for the win. The 28-year-old has earned four goals and two assists over his last five outings, giving him a productive run early in January to maintain his top-six role. The center is at 14 goals -- matching last year's total -- and 32 points through 46 contests while adding 72 shots on net, 40 hits and 24 PIM.

  • Capitals' Connor McMichael: Scores in overtime win

McMichael scored a goal on four shots and added two hits in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime win over the Canadiens.

McMichael tallied at 4:21 of overtime to secure the comeback win for the Capitals. The 24-year-old has earned seven points over his last five games, giving him some momentum in a second-line role. For the season, he's at seven goals, 28 points, 95 shots on net and a plus-8 rating over 47 contests. He's still shooting a mere 7.4 percent, so an uptick in scoring is possible for the remainder of the campaign.

  • Flames' Yegor Sharangovich: Earns two power-play helpers

Sharangovich notched two power-play assists, two PIM and a minus-3 rating in Tuesday's 5-3 loss to the Blue Jackets.

Sharangovich picked up his first multi-point effort since Dec. 8 versus the Sabres. The 27-year-old's versatility has been on display as the Flames continue to find line combinations that can be productive. Sharangovich is up to 16 points, 76 shots on net and a minus-13 rating over 42 appearances, putting him on pace for a worse campaign than his 32-point effort from 73 outings in 2024-25.

  • Connor Zary C | CGY

Flames' Connor Zary: Provides two power-play assists

Zary notched two assists, seven shots on goal and a minus-2 rating in Tuesday's 5-3 loss to the Blue Jackets.

Zary has four points over his last three games, and he's collected 11 points over his last 13 outings for a longer run of success. The 24-year-old's seven shots were a season high, the second time in three games he's set a high mark in that category for the year. He's up to 17 points (five on the power play), 66 shots on net, 29 hits and a minus-4 rating over 44 appearances. While it hasn't been a great season for him or the Flames, it appears Zary is trending up.

  • Sam Lafferty C | CHI

    Blackhawks' Sam Lafferty: Battling illness

Lafferty (illness) might not be available for Thursday's game against Calgary, per Charlie Roumeliotis of WGN Radio.

Lafferty missed Wednesday's practice. He hasn't been in the lineup since Dec. 28 despite being available, so his illness may not impact Chicago's short-term plans. The 30-year-old has a goal and an assist in 17 outings in 2025-26.

  • Blackhawks' Connor Bedard: Returns to practice Wednesday

Bedard (illness) returned to practice Wednesday, Tracey Myers of NHL.com reports.

Bedard missed Monday's game against the Oilers, but appears ready to play against Calgary on Thursday. The 20-year-old has made two appearances since returning from a 12-game absence due to a shoulder injury, recording two assists, seven shots on goal and a plus-1 rating while averaging 19:00 of ice time across that span. He has 19 goals and 46 points across 33 outings this season.
