  • Bruins' Elias Lindholm: Five goals in last six games

Lindholm had a goal and an assist in Tuesday's 6-3 win over Dallas.

Lindholm's goal came on the power play; it was his first goal with the man advantage since Jan. 22, a span of 22 games. Lindholm has been sharp lately -- he has five goals and two assists in his last six games. He has also equaled his output from the 2024-25 regular season (47 points) in 20 fewer games (62 vs. 82).

  • Nick Suzuki C | MON

Canadiens' Nick Suzuki: Quiet domination continues

Suzuki netted his 27th goal of the season Tuesday in a 4-1 win over the Lightning.

Suzuki is on a three-game, six-point scoring streak that includes three goals, three assists, four PIM, 14 shots, 28 faceoff wins and a plus-6 rating. Suzuki is now just three goals from his third straight 30-goal season, and his 93 points continue to extend his career season. They also put him squarely in the NHL's top seven point getters overall. Suzuki also has 59 blocks, 57 hits, 169 shots and 665 faceoff wins.

  • Blue Jackets' Isac Lundestrom: Leaves Tuesday's game

Lundestrom (undisclosed) will be evaluated Wednesday after leaving Tuesday's game versus the Hurricanes, Mark Scheig of The Hockey Writers reports.

Lundestrom can be considered day-to-day heading into Thursday's rematch versus the Hurricanes. If he can't play, Luca Del Bel Belluz would likely enter the lineup in his place.

  • Sam Carrick C | BUF

Sabres' Sam Carrick: Sustains left arm injury

Carrick (arm) will be evaluated after sustaining the injury in the third period of Tuesday's game versus the Islanders, Rachel Lenzi of The Buffalo News reports.

Lenzi adds that Carrick's teammates didn't seem all that positive regarding the center's injury. Until Carrick's injury evaluation is complete, there won't be a timeline for his return. Tyson Kozak or Josh Dunne would be the logical options to enter the lineup if Carrick is forced to miss time.

  • Lightning's Jake Guentzel: Goal streak at five games

Guentzel scored a goal in a 4-1 loss to Montreal on Thursday.

Guentzel's snipe streak now stands at five games and five goals (four assists). He has reached a five-game streak multiple times in his career. His longest goal stretch was seven games, which he set in late 2024 (nine goals). With this run, Guentzel is flirting with a 40-goal campaign. If successful, he will have four 40-point regular seasons. He also has 81 points, which puts him just three from equaling his career mark (84) set in 2021-22.

  • Shane Wright C | SEA

Kraken's Shane Wright: Not playing Tuesday

Wright (upper body) won't be in the lineup versus the Oilers on Tuesday.

Wright will miss at least one game after getting hurt Saturday versus the Sabres. The 22-year-old's absence will lead to Jaden Schwartz (face) drawing into the lineup Tuesday. Wright's next chance to play is Thursday versus the Mammoth.

  • Ducks' Jansen Harkins: Undergoes hand surgery

Harkins had hand surgery Monday and is expected to miss about four weeks, the team announced Tuesday.

Harkins has already missed the last three games and won't be an option for the remainder of the regular season. Assuming the Ducks secure a playoff berth, it's unclear when he will be ready to return to the lineup. He will conclude the 2025-26 regular season with three goals, eight points, 37 shots on net, 24 blocked shots and 113 hits in 44 appearances.

  • Penguins' Evgeni Malkin: Available to return Tuesday

Malkin (upper body) is expected to return to the lineup against Detroit on Tuesday, per Seth Rorabaugh of Tribune-Review Sports.

Following a four-game absence, Malkin should occupy a top-six role and see time on the power play against the Red Wings on Tuesday. He has registered 15 goals, 52 points and 129 shots on net across 50 appearances this season.

  • Hurricanes' Charlie Cerrato: Secures minor-league tryout

Cerrato will link up with AHL Chicago on a professional tryout agreement, the team announced Tuesday.

By agreeing to a PTO, Cerrato will be eligible to play in the Calder Cup Playoffs, something that wouldn't have been allowed under the CBA if he had signed his entry-level deal. In 23 games for Penn St. this year, the 21-year-old center notched seven goals and 20 helpers. He figures to spend some time developing in the minors before getting a real shot at an NHL roster spot.

  • Noah Ostlund C | BUF

Sabres' Noah Ostlund: Slated to remain sidelined

Ostlund (upper body) is not expected be available for Tuesday's home matchup versus the Islanders, according to Justin Alpert of the Sabres' official site.

Ostlund is poised to miss his third consecutive game Tuesday. His next chance to suit up will be in Ottawa on Thursday, but he could be a healthy scratch once he moves past his upper-body injury.
