Predators' Fedor Svechkov: Recalled from AHL
Svechkov was recalled from AHL Milwaukee on Saturday.
Svechkov, selected by the Predators with the 19th overall pick in the 2021 NHL Entry Draft, was recalled after a big start at the AHL level, where he potted five goals and added three assists in seven games. He could make his NHL debut against the Jets on Saturday. The Predators sent Adam Wilsby down to Milwaukee in a corresponding move.

Trevor Zegras C | ANA
Ducks' Trevor Zegras: Supplies assist Friday
Zegras registered an assist and two shots on goal in Friday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Sabres.
Zegras set up a Drew Helleson tally in the first period. With a goal and three helpers over his last four contests, Zegras appears to be breaking out of the slump that has plagued him for much of the first quarter of the campaign. The 23-year-old forward has seven points, 36 shots on net, 15 blocked shots, 12 hits and a minus-4 rating over 19 games this season.

Leo Carlsson C | ANA
Ducks' Leo Carlsson: Adds helper in overtime loss
Carlsson logged an assist in Friday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Sabres.
Carlsson has two goals and three assists over his last six games. It's worth noting he has just three shots on net in that span -- while the reduced shot volume isn't a great sign, he had seven shots on net during a four-game slump that preceded this uptick in offense. The talented center is up to 11 points, 28 shots on net, 10 blocked shots and an even plus-minus rating through 19 appearances in a top-six role this season.

Isac Lundestrom C | ANA
Ducks' Isac Lundestrom: Tips in goal
Lundestrom scored a goal on two shots in Friday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Sabres.
Lundestrom tipped in a Ross Johnston shot for the Ducks' second goal. This was Lundestrom's third goal of the campaign, with two of them coming over the last six games. The 25-year-old is at four points, 17 shots on net, 20 blocked shots and a plus-2 rating over 17 appearances. He's filling a defense-first role in the bottom six, so don't expect him to string together many point streaks this season.

Jiri Kulich C | BUF
Sabres' Jiri Kulich: Wins it in overtime
Kulich scored a goal on four shots in Friday's 3-2 overtime win over the Ducks.
Kulich scored at 4:00 of overtime, following up a rebound to complete the Sabres' comeback from a 2-0 deficit. This was his first point in three appearances since he returned from AHL Rochester. Kulich has seen third-line usage for the most part, though as a young player, his ice time may fluctuate with his performance. He has two goals, 25 shots on net, 10 hits and a plus-1 rating over 11 NHL appearances in 2024-25 while averaging 14:07 per game.

Evgeni Malkin C | PIT
Penguins' Evgeni Malkin: Draws power-play helper
Malkin recorded a power-play assist, two hits, two PIM and a minus-2 rating in Friday's 4-1 loss to the Jets.
Malkin has been in a bit of a rut with just two helpers over his last six contests. This was his first power-play point since Nov. 5. The 38-year-old center now has 20 points (five goals, 15 assists), 48 shots on net, 18 blocked shots and a minus-10 rating through 22 appearances, though he's offset some of his struggles with seven multi-point performances.

Cole Perfetti C | WPG
Jets' Cole Perfetti: Sets up empty-netter
Perfetti produced an assist, three shots on goal, two blocked shots, two PIM and a plus-2 rating in Friday's 4-1 win over the Penguins.
The helper ended a four-game point drought for Perfetti, who has amassed three assists over eight contests without a goal. The 22-year-old is still in his usual second-line role, and he saw a season-high 17:19 of ice time in Friday's game. Overall, he has 14 points, 37 shots on net, 12 blocked shots and a plus-11 rating through 20 appearances. Perfetti remains on pace for a career year, but his offense has been in short bursts rather than consistent stretches so far.

Mark Scheifele C | WPG
Jets' Mark Scheifele: Generates helper in win
Scheifele logged an assist in Friday's 4-1 win over the Penguins.
Scheifele helped out on Kyle Connor's empty-netter. This was an unusual game for Scheifele -- he took just two faceoffs, with winger Gabriel Vilardi filling in at the dot most of the time on the top line. It's unclear if there is an injury concern, as Scheifele led all Jets forwards with 18:53 of ice time. The veteran center has six goals and six helpers over 10 contests in November, putting him at 25 points, 46 shots on net, 18 hits, 16 blocked shots and a plus-7 rating across 20 outings overall.

Vladislav Namestnikov C | WPG
Jets' Vladislav Namestnikov: Scores in Friday's win
Namestnikov scored a goal on three shots and added two PIM in Friday's 4-1 win over the Penguins.
Namestnikov scored at 4:53 of the second period, and his goal stood as the game-winner, his first such goal since the 2021-22 campaign. He had gone three games without a point prior to Friday. The 32-year-old center is at six goals, seven assists, 25 shots on net, 24 hits, 18 PIM and a plus-11 rating through 20 outings, providing both offense and some grit in a middle-six role.

Gabriel Vilardi C | WPG
Jets' Gabriel Vilardi: Strikes on power play Friday
Vilardi scored a power-play goal and won 12 of 16 faceoffs in Friday's 4-1 win over the Penguins.
Vilardi is a natural center, but he has frequently served as a winger this season. It's unclear what led to his larger role at the dot Friday -- Mark Scheifele took just two draws, but there's been no report of him dealing with an injury. Vilardi hasn't posted a multi-point effort in November, but he has five goals and three assists over 10 appearances this month as he continues to be steady on offense. Overall, he has eight goals, eight helpers, seven power-play points, 38 shots on net and a plus-3 rating across 20 contests.
