Rickard Rakell C | PIT
Penguins' Rickard Rakell: Scores late equalizer
Rakell scored a goal in Sunday's 5-4 overtime win over the Blue Jackets.
Rakell has scored in back-to-back games for the first time this season. Even though injuries have limited him to only 21 games so far, he hasn't exactly set the world on fire with his performances and has earned a mere 15 points (six goals, nine assists) overall.

Tommy Novak C | PIT
Penguins' Thomas Novak: Tallies PP goal Sunday
Novak scored a power-play goal in Sunday's 5-4 overtime win over the Blue Jackets.
Novak has found the back of the net in two of his last four games. The second-line center hasn't been very productive, however, and this was only his eighth goal of the campaign. He's netted three of those eight goals on the power play while posting 21 points in 41 contests. He's on pace to reach the 40-point plateau for the first time since the 2023-24 campaign.

Sidney Crosby C | PIT
Penguins' Sidney Crosby: Clutch effort with OT goal
Crosby scored the game-winning goal in Sunday's 5-4 overtime win over the Blue Jackets. He also delivered an assist.
Crosby set up Rickard Rakell's late equalizer with only 14 seconds left in the third period, and the star center later scored the game-winner at 2:22 of overtime with a backhander. Crosby has recorded three straight multi-point performances and is riding a seven-game point streak, earning 12 points (five goals, seven assists) in that span.

Wyatt Johnston C | DAL
Stars' Wyatt Johnston: Scores twice vs. Montreal
Johnston scored two goals in Sunday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Canadiens.
Johnston ended a three-game goal drought with his two goals. He found the back of the net in the second and third periods to boost his season-long totals to 22 goals and 48 points over 42 outings. Johnston has found ways to produce on offense for the Stars and has racked up 11 points (six goals, five assists) over his last 10 games.

Alexei Protas C | WAS
Capitals' Aliaksei Protas: Game-time call
Protas (lower body) will be a game-time decision for Monday's matchup with the Ducks, Tarik El-Bashir of Monumental Sports Network reports.
Protas was absolutely lighting it up prior to getting hurt, racking up four goals and five helpers in his last five outings. With Tom Wilson (lower body) ruled out, the Capitals would certainly benefit from getting the 24-year-old Protas back in the lineup. If he can't go, the Caps will need to either bring up a forward from the minors or roll with seven blueliners against Anaheim.

Mavrik Bourque C | DAL
Stars' Mavrik Bourque: Scores, take five shots Sunday
Bourque scored a goal and took five shots in Sunday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Canadiens.
Bourque has scored three goals in the Stars' last six games, and the 23-year-old is showing signs of leaving the slump that was affecting him earlier in the year. Despite holding a top-six role in the lineup, it's hard to justify rostering Bourque outside of the deepest formats. He's notched a mere 14 points (seven goals, seven helpers) in 42 games this season.

Oliver Kapanen C | MON
Canadiens' Oliver Kapanen: Scores in win over Dallas
Kapanen scored a goal in Sunday's 4-3 overtime win over the Stars.
Kapanen has struggled a bit with his consistency on a game-to-game basis, but the 22-year-old forward has cracked the scoresheet in five of his last eight contests. Over that stretch, Kapanen has earned six points (three goals, three assists), 19 shots, two hits, 13 blocked shots and a plus-5 rating. Kapanen should continue to rack up stats due to his top-six role in the lineup.

J.T. Miller C | NYR
Rangers' J.T. Miller: Making progress
Miller (upper body) has been cleared for full contact, but he isn't ready to return for Monday's game versus the Mammoth according to Vince Z. Mercogliano of The Athletic.
Miller remains on injured reserve and will miss his seventh straight game Monday, but it doesn't sound like a return to the lineup is far away. Once he receives the green light to play, he should land a top-six role and see time on the first power-play unit. Miller has accounted for 10 goals, 22 points, 77 shots on net and 74 hits across 35 appearances this season.

Dawson Mercer C | NJ
Devils' Dawson Mercer: Deposits lone goal in loss
Mercer scored a goal on two shots and added two PIM in Sunday's 3-1 loss to the Hurricanes.
Mercer ended his 16-game goal drought with a first-period tally. During that stretch, he was limited to five assists, 34 shots on net and a plus-1 rating. The 24-year-old has been playing center on the second line for the last few games while Jack Hughes works on the wing with Nico Hischier centering the top line. Even with the recent slump, Mercer's at 11 goals and 26 points through 42 outings this season, putting him on pace to top the 50-point mark for the second time in his career.

Logan Stankoven C | CAR
Hurricanes' Logan Stankoven: Lights lamp in Sunday's win
Stankoven scored a goal on four shots and added four PIM in Sunday's 3-1 win over the Devils.
Stankoven had gone 11 games without a goal, picking up three assists in that span. The 22-year-old had the last tally in Sunday's contest to snap the drought. For the season, he's up to seven goals, 18 points, 89 shots on net, 23 PIM and a plus-4 rating over 42 appearances. Stankoven remains in a middle-six role, but he hasn't improved his offense from his totals of 14 goals and 24 assists over 78 regular-season outings in 2024-25.
