  • Panthers' Anton Lundell: Tallies pair of points Saturday

Lundell scored a goal, dished out an assist, placed two shots on net and had two hits in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Capitals.

Overall, the 24-year-old Lundell is up to 15 goals, 20 assists, 106 shots on net, 55 hits and 29 blocks through 47 games this season. Following a cold stretch to start the calendar year, the young center is gaining traction offensively with four points in as many games. McLeod scored an even-strength goal and added a power-play assist in Saturday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Wild.

The 26-year-old center got the Sabres on the board midway through the first period before having a hand in an Alex Tuch tally in the second. McLeod has been on a roll in January, producing four goals and nine points over the last seven games. With Josh Norris (ribs) banged up, McLeod should continue drawing shifts on the second line with Jack Quinn and Jason Zucker.

Following his trio of points, the 29-year-old center now has 17 goals, 21 assists, 122 shots on net, 94 hits and 21 blocks through 47 appearances this season. Since Jan. 8, he has three multi-point performances across five contests. His sluggish start to the season is miles behind him as Bennett has excelled on the second line over the past six weeks. The playmaking forward is at 39 points (11 goals, 28 assists), 68 shots on net and a minus-3 rating through 40 appearances this season.
