  • Jordan Kyrou C | STL

Blues' Jordan Kyrou: Grabs first apple since return

Kyrou tallied an assist and recorded a block in Monday's 4-2 loss to Buffalo.

Kyrou chipped in with a secondary helper on Brayden Schenn's goal early in the first period. With the apple, Kyrou now has nine assists, 17 points and 73 shots on net over 30 appearances this season. The assist was his first point across two games since his return from a lower-body injury. Although he's well below the pace necessary to reach the 25-goal and 65-point marks for a fifth consecutive regular season, he's showcased the ability to get hot down the stretch of the regular season. In a one-month span from mid-March to mid-April a season ago, he posted 21 points in 17 games. The 27-year-old could still end up having a very strong second half to 2025-26.

  • Blues' Brayden Schenn: Scores in second straight game

Schenn recorded a goal, two shots on net, two blocks and three hits in Monday's 4-2 loss to Buffalo.

Schenn helped the Blues level the score in Monday's contest just five minutes into the opening period. Overall, the 34-year-old center has eight goals, 16 points, 55 shots on net and 90 hits through 40 games this season. The 15-year NHL veteran has raised his quality of play as of late by scoring a goal in back-to-back games and three points over St. Louis' last four outings. His recent resurgence offensively hasn't interfered with his hit totals, as he is in the top four in both categories during that stretch. While his long-term fantasy outlook might not be too appealing as he's currently on track for just over 30 points, he is a solid streaming value in the interim that covers multiple categories.

  • Peyton Krebs C | BUF

Sabres' Peyton Krebs: Tallies empty-net goal

Krebs scored an empty-net goal and recorded two shots on net in Monday's 4-2 win over St. Louis.

Krebs placed the bow on top of the Sabres' ninth consecutive win, as he found the back of the Blues' empty net to put Buffalo up by two goals. With the twine finder, he is up to three goals, 14 points, 45 shots on net, 92 hits and 22 blocks through 38 games this season. After dishing out 10 helpers but failing to find the back of the net himself across his first 34 games, the 24-year-old forward has three goals over his last four outings. His contributions offensively from the Sabres' top line have helped ease the goal-scoring burden on Tage Thompson's shoulders. Despite Krebs lack of a role on the power play, he still has fantastic streaming value in fantasy with six points and 16 hits over the team's last seven games.

  • Noah Ostlund C | BUF

Sabres' Noah Ostlund: Grabs opening goal Monday

Ostlund scored a goal and fired a shot on net in Monday's 4-2 win over St. Louis.

Ostlund sparked the Sabres' offense Monday when he scored just over two minutes into regulation. With the opening twine finder, he has seven goals, 10 points and 31 shots on net through 27 appearances this season. The 21-year-old center's brief stint with AHL Rochester midway through December has paid dividends for him, as he has scored four goals in seven games since his return to the NHL. Ostlund is one of many young players in the Sabres' lineup who have stepped up their game during the team's nine-game win streak, as he has added a plus-five rating, 11 shots on net and two blocks to the cause in addition to his goals. The rookie is a solid streaming option in fantasy while the Sabres' offense is firing on all cylinders. He also has value as a stash in deep leagues throughout the rest of the season if he can sustain his middle-six role at the NHL level.

  • Kraken's Ryan Winterton: Lights lamp in shootout loss

Winterton scored a goal on three shots in Monday's 3-2 shootout loss to the Canucks.

Winterton ended his 18-game goal drought with the tally. In that span, he had two assists, 16 shots, 20 hits and a minus-3 rating. He's also been scratched twice in the Kraken's last six games, so his grip on a bottom-six job appears to be weakening now that Seattle is missing just Jaden Schwartz (lower body) among its forward group. Winterton has produced six points, 33 shots on net, 38 hits, 16 blocked shots and a minus-2 rating across 35 outings this season.

  • Jared McCann C | SEA

Kraken's Jared McCann: Pots power-play goal

McCann scored a power-play goal on three shots and added five PIM in Monday's 3-2 shootout loss to the Canucks.

This was McCann's second game back after he missed seven contests due to a lower-body injury. He's been on the third line since his return, playing alongside Shane Wright and Berkly Catton, which could help unlock some offense for those young forwards. McCann is up to six goals, nine points, 32 shots on net, 14 hits and five PIM over 13 outings in an injury-plagued season so far.

  • Canucks' Linus Karlsson: Pots another goal Monday

Karlsson scored a goal on two shots, added two PIM and logged two hits in Monday's 3-2 shootout win over the Kraken.

Karlsson's offense continues to shine from the bottom six. He has four goals and two assists over his last six outings despite averaging 10:23 of ice time in that span. For the season, the 26-year-old forward has produced nine goals, 16 points, 51 shots on net, 47 hits, 24 PIM and a minus-4 rating across 35 appearances.

  • Canucks' Elias Pettersson: Finds twine in second game back

Pettersson scored a goal on two shots and added two PIM in Monday's 3-2 shootout win over the Kraken.

This was Pettersson's second game back after missing eight contests due to an upper-body injury. The 27-year-old has resumed his usual role centering the top line while seeing ice time in all situations. He's up to nine goals, 23 points, 59 shots on net, 53 blocked shots, 29 hits and a minus-11 rating over 30 appearances this season. Fantasy managers can get use out of his all-around production, but he'll need to be consistent on offense to reach his full potential.

  • Ducks' Nikita Nesterenko: Nabs assist in rare appearance

Nesterenko logged an assist, three shots on goal and three hits in Monday's 5-4 loss to the Sharks.

Nesterenko had been scratched for the first 13 games of December, but he got a chance to play Monday when Ross Johnston (illness) and Frank Vatrano (upper body) were ruled out. The 24-year-old Nesterenko has shown flashes of potential with nine points over 24 appearances this season. He's added 25 shots on net, 44 hits and a plus-1 rating. It's unclear if he'll be a regular in the lineup moving forward, but he should have the edge over Jansen Harkins to stay in even once Johnston is healthy again.

  • Sharks' Alexander Wennberg: Deals pair of assists

Wennberg notched two assists in Monday's 5-4 win over the Ducks.

Wennberg set up Mario Ferraro and Macklin Celebrini for first-period tallies. It's been a pretty good stretch for Wennberg -- he has two goals and 11 helpers over his last 10 outings. That's more offense than usual, but it highlights his tendencies as a playmaker who can fill a top-six role. He's at seven goals, 19 assists, 47 shots on net, 48 blocked shots and a minus-12 rating over 39 appearances this season.
