Jonathan Marchessault C | NSH
Predators' Jonathan Marchessault: Not playing Thursday
Marchessault (undisclosed) won't play Thursday versus the Ducks, Alex Daugherty of The Tennessean reports.
Marchessault will miss the last game of the season. He ends the campaign with just 31 points and 132 shots on net over 62 appearances. It's his fewest games played in a full-length season since 2015-16, so it's possible he's been playing through something. He also missed 14 contests earlier in the campaign due to a lower-body issue.

Connor Zary C | CGY
Flames' Connor Zary: Missing season finale
Zary is a little banged up and will miss Thursday's game versus the Kings due to his undisclosed injury, Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 The Fan reports.
Zary dealt with an upper-body injury late in the season, but it's unclear if this is a related issue. In any case, he'll end 2025-26 with 25 points over 74 appearances, taking a step back from his 27-point output over 54 outings a year ago. As long as Zary doesn't require surgery, he should be fine at the start of 2026-27.

J.T. Miller C | NYR
Rangers' J.T. Miller: Adds pair of assists
Miller notched two assists and two shots on goal in Wednesday's 4-2 win over the Lightning.
Miller put up a goal and five assists, including four power-play points, over seven contests in April. Injuries limited the 33-year-old to 68 appearances this season, but he was productive with 17 goals and 53 points, as well as 144 shots on net, 123 hits and a minus-30 rating. Miller should contribute in all situations in 2026-27, and he'll have some bounce-back potential if the Rangers' overall play improves.

Noah Gregor C | FLA
Panthers' Noah Gregor: Waived Thursday
Gregor was put on waivers by Florida on Thursday, per PuckPedia.
Florida's season is over after missing the playoffs, and Gregor is eligible to become an unrestricted free agent this summer after completing his one-year, $775,000 contract. However, he can still play for AHL Charlotte during the Calder Cup Playoffs if he clears waivers. Gregor finished the 2025-26 regular season with four goals, nine points and 26 PIM in 37 appearances with Florida as well as 11 goals and 17 points in 25 outings with Charlotte.

Vladislav Namestnikov C | WPG
Jets' Vladislav Namestnikov: Remains out Thursday
Namestnikov (undisclosed) will not be in the lineup versus the Sharks on Thursday.
Namestnikov will see his 2025-26 campaign end with him on the shelf due to his undisclosed injury. When healthy, the 33-year-old forward struggled to produce, garnering eight goals and six helpers in 60 contests, his lowest point total of his career.

Mika Zibanejad C | NYR
Rangers' Mika Zibanejad: Two points in regular-season finale
Zibanejad recorded a power-play goal and an even-strength assist in Wednesday's 4-2 win over the Lightning.
Zibanejad closed out the regular season in style, ending a six-game goal drought and posting a multi-point performance in the process. Zibanejad had nine points (two goals, seven assists) in his last eight appearances, and he finished the 2025-26 campaign with 78 points (34 goals, 44 assists) in 81 regular-season contests, ending as one of the few bright spots in what was an otherwise lost season for the Rangers.

Gastrin scored 10 goals and 24 points in 39 regular-season outings with MoDo of HockeyAllsvenskan in 2025-26. HockeyAllsvenskan is the second-highest tier league in Sweden. The 18-year-old was selected by Washington with the No. 37 overall pick in the 2025 NHL Draft.

Stephen Halliday C | OTT
Senators' Stephen Halliday: Little usage late in regular season
Halliday played in just five of the Senators' last 25 games of the regular season, including an appearance in Wednesday's 3-1 win over the Maple Leafs.
Halliday was a regular earlier in the season, but he ended up filling a depth role down the stretch until the Senators rested some key players. He ends his rookie year with four goals, seven assists, 34 shots on net, 30 hits and an even plus-minus rating over 30 appearances. Halliday is likely to be back in the press box for Game 1 versus the Hurricanes on Saturday.
