    Ducks' Leo Carlsson: Unavailable Monday

    Carlsson (lower body) is day-to-day and won't play against Seattle on Monday, Zach Cavanagh of The Sporting Tribune reports.

    Carlsson could be ready to return to the lineup versus the Kings on Saturday after the Christmas break. He has amassed 17 goals, 41 points and 89 shots on net across 36 appearances this season. Mikael Granlund will occupy a top-six role in Monday's lineup due to Carlsson's absence.

  • Blackhawks' Teuvo Teravainen: Good to go

    Teravainen (foot) will be in the lineup for Tuesday's game against Philadelphia, Tracey Myers of NHL.com reports.

    Teravainen skipped Monday's practice for maintenance after blocking a shot in Saturday's 6-4 loss to Ottawa, but he will be fine to face the Flyers on Tuesday. He has generated six goals, 17 points and 38 shots on net through 34 appearances this season.

  • Rangers' Jonny Brodzinski: Nets late goal in loss

    Brodzinski scored a goal on five shots in Sunday's 2-1 loss to Nashville.

    Brodzinski tallied his third goal of the season to play spoiler in the final minute of Justus Annunen's shutout bid. With the goal, Brodzinski is up to six points and 27 shots on net across 23 games this season. Sunday's goal was his first since Nov. 18, a span of 12 games in which he added just two assists. While his goal is encouraging, It would take a large role change to give Brodzinski fantasy relevance moving forward.

  • Predators' Steven Stamkos: Finds empty cage Sunday

    Stamkos scored an empty-net goal on two shots in Sunday's 2-1 win over the Rangers.

    Stamkos found the back of New York's empty net with less than a minute to play in Sunday's contest to extend his point streak to four games. With the tally, he has 14 goals, 20 points, 83 shots on net and 27 hits through 35 outings this season. After a rough start to the season, the 35-year-old forward has 15 of his 20 points, including 10 of his 14 goals, over the last 13 games. He has helped the Predators build momentum in the Central Division, as they currently sit just five points out of a wild-card spot in the Western Conference. Stamkos' mid-season surge gives him strong streaming value in most fantasy formats and added value in leagues that place a premium on goals.

  • Predators' Ryan O'Reilly: Point streak at seven games

    O'Reilly distributed two assists in Sunday's 2-1 win over the Rangers.

    O'Reilly recorded the primary helper on Filip Forsberg's opening goal in the second period before later helping Steven Stamkos find the back of the empty net to secure the win. With the pair of helpers, O'Reilly is up to 20 assists, 30 points, 59 shots on goal and 24 blocked shots through 35 games this season. The two-way center has continued to thrive on both sides of the ice this season and has helped the Predators go 9-4-0 in their last 13 contests. During that stretch, O'Reilly has 17 points, 21 shots on goal and six blocks. The 34-year-old center is a strong fantasy option in nearly all formats for the time being while riding a seven-game point streak.

    Teravainen was not on the ice for Monday's practice session due to an apparent foot injury, Charlie Roumeliotis of WGN Radio reports.

    Teravainen was injured blocking a shot against the Senators on Saturday and is now in danger of missing Tuesday's game versus the Flyers. The 31-year-old winger's potential absence may not have a significant impact on fantasy managers, considering he is currently mired in a nine-game point drought. With 17 points through 34 games, Teravainen could be in danger of missing the 50-point threshold for the first time since 2022-23.

  • Canucks' Elias Pettersson: Takes part in morning skate

    Pettersson (upper body) participated in the morning skate but won't play against Philadelphia on Monday, Adam Kimelman of NHL.com reports.

    The Canucks hope to get Pettersson back shortly after the Christmas break, but an exact timeline for his return remains unclear. He will miss his eighth straight game versus the Flyers on Monday. Pettersson has produced eight goals, 22 points, 54 shots on net, 51 blocked shots and 28 hits across 28 appearances this season.

    Hurricanes' Seth Jarvis: Deemed week-to-week

    Jarvis (upper body) is week-to-week, the team announced Monday.

    Jarvis sustained the injury in Friday's 4-3 shootout loss to Florida and promptly moved to injured reserve before Saturday's 6-4 loss to Tampa Bay. He will be out for an extended period of time, but it's unclear when he will be ready to return to the lineup. Jarvis has compiled 19 goals, 29 points, 110 shots on net and 43 hits over 34 outings this campaign.

    Rangers' J.T. Miller: Moves to IR

    Miller (upper body) was placed on injured reserve Monday, Mollie Walker of the New York Post reports.

    The Rangers recalled Brett Berard from AHL Hartford in a corresponding move. Miller sat out Sunday's 2-1 loss to Nashville and is week-to-week after sustaining an injury in Saturday's 5-4 shootout win over Philadelphia. It's unclear when he will be available to return to the lineup. Miller has accounted for 10 goals, 22 points, 77 shots on net and 74 hits through 35 appearances this season.

  • Flyers' Christian Dvorak: In action Monday

    Dvorak (lower body) will be in the lineup versus Vancouver on Monday, Siobhan Nolan of The Hockey News reports.

    Dvorak will return after just one game on the shelf due to his lower-body problem. The 29-year-old forward has scored only one goal in his last 15 outings, but he has chipped in nine helpers over that stretch. Playing on the first line with Trevor Zegras and Travis Konecny should set Dvorak up to continue producing offensively.
