Dach (foot) was moved to long-term injured reserve, per Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports on Saturday.
The Canadiens also shifted Kaiden Guhle (groin) to LTIR in moves that probably occurred after the team acquired Phillip Danault (illness) from the Kings on Friday. Dach has missed the last 16 games and may not be ready to return until the calendar flips to 2026.

Xavier Parent C | NJ
Devils' Xavier Parent: Dropped to minors
Parent was assigned to AHL Utica on Saturday.
The Devils noted that the Parent and Calen Addison were returned to the minors ahead of Friday's roster freeze, and the team also activated Timo Meier (personal) from the non-roster list. Parent has two shots on goal and seven hits in five NHL outings this season without earning a point.

Jack Finley C | STL
Lightning's Jack Finley: Recalled from conditioning stint
Finley was summoned from AHL Syracuse on Saturday.
Finley had a goal and two assists during his three-game conditioning stint with Syracuse. The 23-year-old has managed a goal and an assist in 11 games with the Lightning this season. He could return to the lineup as early as Saturday versus Carolina, as Nikita Kucherov (illness) and Brandon Hagel (upper body) are questionable.

Sam Reinhart C | FLA
Panthers' Sam Reinhart: Two points in SO win
Reinhart scored a goal and added an assist in Friday's 4-3 shootout win over the Hurricanes.
Reinhart posted his third multi-point effort across his last four games, and he's averaging over a point per game since the beginning of December with 11 (five goals, six assists) over 10 appearances. Reinhart has also delivered value in terms of physicality, with eight hits and three blocked shots over that stretch. He should continue to have plenty of opportunities to produce due to his steady role in both even-strength and power-play situations.

Panthers' Sam Bennett: Scores, assists vs. Carolina
Bennett scored a goal and added an assist in Friday's 4-3 shootout win over the Hurricanes.
Bennett has been on a roll of late with five goals and seven points over his last six games. He was Florida's most dangerous player by a wide margin in Friday's win, as he registered a season-high 10 shots. With 22 shots over his last six contests, expect the 29-year-old to remain a key contributor on offense for the surging Panthers.

Davidson was reassigned to AHL Laval on Saturday, according to Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports.
The Canadiens acquired Phillip Danault from the Kings on Friday, pushing Davidson down the depth chart one more spot. He had been a healthy scratch in his four previous games and needs the playing time he will see at the AHL level. Davidson has one assist in 10 NHL games this season.
