Dakota Joshua C | TOR
Maple Leafs' Dakota Joshua: Practices Monday
Joshua (illness) participated in Monday's practice, David Alter of The Hockey News reports.
Joshua should be ready to return to the lineup against Chicago on Tuesday after sitting out Saturday's 6-3 loss to Edmonton. He has earned five goals, nine points, 25 shots on net, 23 blocked shots and 99 hits in 29 appearances this season.

Phillip Danault C | MON
Kings' Phillip Danault: Sidelined by flu
Danault (illness) will not be in the lineup versus Dallas on Monday, David Pagnotta of The Fourth Period reports.
Danault will miss his second straight game due to his illness, and could be in danger of being sidelined versus the Panthers on Wednesday. The 32-year-old center has yet to find the back of the net this year, going 30 games without scoring a goal while earning just five assists. With Quinton Byfield (illness) also unavailable, the Kings will need to utilize both Jeff Malott and Andrei Kuzmenko on the fourth line.

Quinton Byfield C | LA
Kings' Quinton Byfield: Ruled out for Monday's game
Byfield has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Stars due to an illness, David Pagnotta of The Fourth Period reports.
Byfield is dealing with the flu and will be held out for at least one game. It's not yet clear whether he'll be able to return for Wednesday's game against the Panthers, but he should tentatively be considered day-to-day. Andrei Kuzmenko will likely enter the lineup Monday.

Matt Rempe C | NYR
Rangers' Matt Rempe: Removed from LTIR
Rempe (upper body) was activated from long-term injured reserve Monday, according to Mollie Walker of the New York Post.
Following a 24-game absence, Rempe appears ready to return to the lineup against Anaheim on Monday. He has supplied one goal, eight shots on net, 30 hits and seven PIM in nine appearances this season.

Connor Bedard C | CHI
Blackhawks' Connor Bedard: Out until January
Bedard (upper body) won't need surgery but will be sidelined until the calendar flips to 2026, Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times reports Monday.
Bedard was already placed on injured reserve, so his timeline shouldn't come as a huge surprise. Given his potential return date, the 20-year-old center should still be in the mix for a spot on Canada's Olympic roster in February. While Bedard is on the shelf, Frank Nazar figures to take on the first-line center role, though Jason Dickinson could also be in the mix.

Matt Rempe C | NYR
Rangers' Matt Rempe: Considered game-time decision
Rempe (upper body) is considered a game-time decision for Monday's matchup against Anaheim, Vince Z. Mercogliano of The Athletic reports.
Rempe has been sidelined since Oct. 23 due to an upper-body injury that he sustained in a fight, but he's been traveling with the team recently, and head coach Mike Sullivan sounded optimistic that the 23-year-old would be able to suit up against the Ducks. Over his first nine appearances of the season, Rempe recorded a goal, 30 hits, seven PIM and two blocked shots while averaging 9:48 of ice time.

Mika Zibanejad C | NYR
Rangers' Mika Zibanejad: Not playing Monday
Zibanejad won't be in the lineup against Anaheim on Monday after missing a team meeting, Vince Z. Mercogliano of The Athletic reports.
Zibanejad could return to the lineup against Vancouver on Tuesday. He has accounted for 11 goals, 25 points, 99 shots on net and 51 hits through 33 appearances this season. Vincent Trocheck and J.T. Miller will probably see increased roles due to Zibanejad's absence.

Trevor Zegras C | PHI
Flyers' Trevor Zegras: Another two-point outing
Zegras recorded a goal and an assist in Sunday's 3-2 shootout loss to the Hurricanes.
Zegras also had a goal and an assist in the previous meeting between these two teams Saturday. The 24-year-old playmaker has been on a tear for the Flyers lately and has cracked the scoresheet in all but one of his previous nine games, racking up 11 points (six goals, five assists), 24 shots on goal, two hits, two blocked shots and a plus-4 rating over that stretch.

Benjamin Kindel C | PIT
Penguins' Ben Kindel: Posts three points Sunday
Kindel had a goal and two assists in Sunday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Mammoth.
Kindel cracked the scoresheet in back-to-back games for the second time this season, and this was also the first time he posted three points. He previously had two multi-point efforts -- on Nov. 3 against the Maple Leafs and Nov. 6 against the Capitals. Kindel is a promising prospect in the Penguins' system and is showing glimpses of what he can bring to the table this season. He's up to 14 points (eight goals, six assists) in 28 games.

Dawson Mercer C | NJ
Devils' Dawson Mercer: Adds assist Sunday
Mercer registered an assist and placed a shot on goal in Sunday's 2-1 loss to Vancouver.
Mercer picked up a secondary helper on Luke Hughes' goal in the second period. With the apple, Mercer has 12 assists, 22 points, 66 shots on goal and 25 blocks through 33 appearances this season. He used Sunday's contest to earn his first point since moving out to the right wing to play alongside Nico Hischier and Jesper Bratt on New Jersey's top line. The assist snapped a six-game drought and gives Mercer a solid outlook in fantasy moving forward if he continues to see a high volume of minutes. He is on pace to post his first 40-plus point campaign since the 2022-23 season.
