  • Avalanche's Nathan MacKinnon: Colorado leader in career goals

MacKinnon scored a goal on seven shots, added an assist and went plus-2 in Thursday's 6-2 win over the Panthers.

MacKinnon's goal was the 392nd of his career. They've all come with Colorado, and he now has the most goals since the franchise relocated from Quebec, passing Joe Sakic's Avalanche total. MacKinnon is on quite the role with multiple points in seven of his last nine outings, earning eight goals and eight assists in that span. For the season, the 30-year-old superstar leads the league with 25 goals, 53 points, 147 shots on net and a plus-37 rating over 31 appearances.

  • Penguins' Sidney Crosby: Four points from franchise mark

Crosby had an assist Thursday in a 4-2 loss to Montreal.

Crosby is now just four points behind Mario Lemieux (1,723) for the Penguins point record. Crosby has 1,719 NHL points (643 goals, 1,719 assists). The 38-year-old has recorded points in seven of his last nine appearances, a stretch that includes four multi-point performances. Across that nine-game span, he's recorded six goals, five assists, eight hits and four PIM while averaging 20:31 of ice time.

  • Oilers' Leon Draisaitl: Provides pair of helpers

Draisaitl logged two assists, including one on the power play, in Thursday's 4-1 win over the Red Wings.

Draisaitl had a hand in the first and last goals of the game, both scored by Zach Hyman. Over the last four contests, Draisaitl has two goals and seven assists. The 30-year-old is up to a total of 40 points (17 goals, 23 helpers), 79 shots on net and a plus-8 rating across 31 appearances this season.

  • Oilers' Connor McDavid: Quartet of helpers in win

McDavid notched four assists, four shots on goal and a plus-3 rating in Thursday's 4-1 win over the Red Wings.

McDavid had the primary helper on each of the Oilers' goals, three from Zach Hyman and one from Mattias Ekholm. This was McDavid's fourth multi-point effort in a row, a span in which he's racked up five goals and seven assists. The 28-year-old superstar is up to 48 points (16 goals, 32 assists), 19 power-play points, 97 shots on net and a minus-2 rating across 31 outings overall.

  • Zach Hyman C | EDM

Oilers' Zach Hyman: Posts hat trick against Detroit

Hyman scored three goals on seven shots and went plus-3 in Thursday's 4-1 win over the Red Wings.

Hyman scored once in each period to produce a hat trick. His first goal was on the power play, and his third was an empty-netter. The 33-year-old winger is up to five goals and two assists over his last six outings and should continue to offer steady offense in a top-line role. Overall, he's at nine points, 30 shots on net, 26 hits and a plus-1 rating across 12 appearances this season after having his debut delayed by his recovery from wrist surgery.

  • Sharks' Alexander Wennberg: Nets winner in three-point effort

Wennberg scored a goal and added two assists in Thursday's 3-2 overtime win over Toronto.

Wennberg's goal won the game. It came on a jam play at the net that needed video review to make sure it wasn't offside. Wennberg has five points, including two goals, in his last three games. Overall, he has seven goals, 11 assists and 37 shots in 32 games.

  • Maple Leafs' Auston Matthews: Pace finally quickening

Matthews scored a power-play goal in Thursday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Sharks.

Matthews made it 2-0 at 14:32 of the second period when he one-timed a cross-ice pass from William Nylander below the right circle. It ended a streak of 0-for-12 and 2-for-28 for the Maple Leafs with the man advantage. Matthews has a goal in each of his last two games and three in his last four outings (20 shots). He's been held off the scoresheet just once in his last seven games (four goals, three assists; 31 shots).

  • Jets' Morgan Barron: Puts away goal in loss

Barron scored a goal on three shots, added two PIM and doled out three hits in Thursday's 6-3 loss to the Bruins.

Barron scored for the first time since Oct. 16 versus the Flyers. The fourth-liner has just two points over 12 outings since he returned from an undisclosed injury. Overall, he has eight points, 35 shots, 50 hits, 16 PIM and a plus-2 rating over 24 appearances. He's played well enough generally to stay in the lineup, but his usage doesn't make him a viable fantasy forward in most formats.

  • Jets' Gabriel Vilardi: Strikes on power play in loss

Vilardi scored a power-play goal and went minus-2 in Thursday's 6-3 loss to the Bruins.

Even with the usual top line broken up, Vilardi was still able to get on the scoresheet. He has three goals and three assists during a five-game point streak, and he's scored eight goals and dished five assists over his last 11 outings. The 26-year-old forward is up to 14 goals, 27 points (eight on the power play), 66 shots on net and a minus-1 rating through 30 appearances this season. Vilardi should be a steady scoring-only option even if the Jets' offense continues to struggle as a whole.

  • Paul Cotter C | NJ

Devils' Paul Cotter: Racks up hits while adding offense

Cotter had a goal, an assist and six hits in an 8-4 loss to the Lightning on Thursday.

The goal came on a late third-period power play to make the score 7-4. Cotter has a goal in each of his last two games (three points), but he has just nine points (four goals, five assists) in 31 games this season. Cotter's fantasy value is tied to his ability to bruise, and he has 85 hits so far. That's a 225-hit pace, and it would be his third consecutive season at that level.
