  • Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Dishes two assists

Geekie notched two assists, two PIM and a plus-2 rating in Thursday's 6-3 win over the Jets.

Geekie has started to mix a little playmaking into his repertoire -- this was his third multi-assist effort over five outings in December. He's earned five goals and six assists across his last seven contests. For the season, the 27-year-old has been remarkable in a top-six role, racking up 22 goals, 12 helpers, 10 power-play points, 81 shots on net, 54 hits and an even plus-minus rating through 32 appearances. He's well on his way to setting a career high in points after putting up 57 in 77 games in 2024-25.

  • Sean Kuraly C | BOS

Bruins' Sean Kuraly: Buries goal Thursday

Kuraly scored a goal on two shots and added four hits in Thursday's 6-3 win over the Jets.

This was Kuraly's first goal since Nov. 6 versus the Senators. The fourth-line center has earned three points over the first two games of the Bruins' current road trip, which ends Sunday in Minnesota. The 32-year-old has a total of three goals, nine points, 47 shots on net, 33 hits, 22 blocked shots, 20 PIM and a plus-1 rating across 32 appearances.

  • Bruins' Casey Mittelstadt: Nets power-play marker in win

Mittelstadt scored a power-play goal in Thursday's 6-3 win over the Jets.

Mittelstadt is up to three goals and a helper over seven games since he returned from a lower-body injury. The 27-year-old has been playing on the wing to maintain a spot in the top six since his return. Overall, he has seven goals, 13 points, 24 shots on net and a minus-1 rating through 22 appearances. He's earned just two points with the man advantage, and it's tough to see Mittelstadt scoring enough to make up for his lackluster non-scoring production from a fantasy standpoint.

  • Bruins' Elias Lindholm: Finds twine in win

Lindholm scored a goal, added two PIM, blocked two shots and went plus-2 in Thursday's 6-3 win over the Jets.

Lindholm had logged nine assists over his last six outings, but he hadn't scored since Oct. 28 versus the Islanders. He changed that with a third-period insurance tally to give the Bruins some breathing room. Lindholm is up to five goals, 19 points, 32 shots on net, 21 hits, 22 blocked shots, 14 PIM and a plus-4 rating through 22 appearances this season. He remains a steady all-around center in fantasy while occupying a top-line role.

  • Lightning's Brayden Point: Back-to-back two-point games

Point scored a goal and added an assist Thursday in an 8-4 win over New Jersey.

Point's goal early in the third period gave the Lightning a 7-3 lead. The star center has had a difficult season, but he has put up back-to-back two-point games this week (two goals, two assists). Point started the season with a three-point effort against the Sens on opening night, and he hadn't put up more than a single point until Tuesday night. This could be a good sign, and you might still be able to leverage his future out of a frustrated manager. Point is far better than the 15 points he has put up in 24 games.

  • Flyers' Jett Luchanko: Picks up three helpers in OHL win

Luchanko notched three assists in OHL Brantford's 8-4 win over Erie on Thursday.

With six points over his last three games, Luchanko is starting to get more comfortable with the Bulldogs. The Flyers prospect is up to a total of 25 points through 17 outings between Brantford and Guelph this season.

  • Nick Paul C | TB

Lightning's Nick Paul: First goal in six games

Paul scored a goal Thursday in an 8-4 win over the Devils.

Paul put the Bolts up 1-0 with a snap shot from the left hashmarks at 2:57 of the first period. It was his first goal in six games. Paul is hopping the boards as Tampa's 4C, but his value goes up because of his job on PP2. Overall, he has three goals, four assists and 20 shots in 12 games this season.

  • Lightning's Jake Guentzel: First power-play goal in 12 games

Guentzel scored a goal and added two assists Thursday in an 8-4 win over New Jersey.

The goal and one assist came on the power play. It was his first power-play goal in 12 games. Guentzel has four points (one goal, three assists) over his last two games (three shots). The 31-year-old winger remains on an 80-point, 215-shot pace, but his four power-play snipes project to just 10 on the season. Guentzel put up 17 PPG in 2024-25.

  • Canucks' Elias Pettersson: Not in lineup Thursday

Pettersson (upper body) won't play Thursday versus Buffalo, Brendan Batchelor of Sportsnet 650 reports.

Pettersson is set to miss his third straight game due to the injury. He has eight goals and 22 points in 28 appearances this season. He was considered doubtful for the game against the Sabres, so his absence doesn't come as a surprise, but Pettersson might not be gone for too much longer -- he's expected to travel with the Canucks on their upcoming five-game road trip, which means there's still a chance he plays Sunday in New Jersey.

  • Bo Horvat C | NYI

Islanders' Bo Horvat: Exits Thursday's game

Horvat sustained a lower-body injury and won't return to Thursday's game against Anaheim.

Horvat had two shots on 10:01 of ice time before exiting the game. He has 19 goals and 31 points through 31 appearances in 2025-26. Calum Ritchie might shift up to to the Islanders' top six if Horvat isn't an option Saturday versus Tampa Bay.
