  • Ryan Strome C | CGY

Ducks' Ryan Strome: Adds two assists in win

Strome notched two assists, five shots on net, two PIM and a plus-2 rating in Sunday's 7-1 win over the Blackhawks.

Strome snapped a six-game point drought with the effort. He had been scratched in the Ducks' first two contests in December, and that could continue to happen on occasion while the team's forward group is fully healthy. Strome has a goal, four assists, 19 shots on net and a minus-2 rating over 11 appearances this season, though he's averaging just 12:51 of ice time, a career-low mark.

  • Ducks' Mason McTavish: Buries power-play goal in win

McTavish scored a power-play goal on three shots and went plus-2 in Sunday's 7-1 win over the Blackhawks.

McTavish's goal in the second period stood as the game-winner in this blowout contest. The 22-year-old has three goals and three helpers over his last seven outings while maintaining a spot on the second line and second power-play unit. McTavish is up to seven goals, 20 points, 52 shots on net, 29 hits, 34 PIM, 16 blocked shots and a plus-5 rating over 29 appearances. He could push for a 55-point campaign this year after racking up 22 goals and 30 helpers over 76 contests in 2024-25.

  • Leo Carlsson C | ANA

Ducks' Leo Carlsson: Nets two goals in big win

Carlsson scored two goals, including one on the power play, and fired four shots on net in Sunday's 7-1 win over the Blackhawks.

Carlsson tallied late in the second period and early in the third to leave his mark on this blowout win. He had gone two games without a point following the end of a seven-game point streak. The 20-year-old remains highly productive on the Ducks' top line, racking up 16 goals, 38 points (11 on the power play), 76 shots on net, 23 PIM and a plus-11 rating over 29 appearances. He's four goals and seven points shy of matching his totals from 76 outings in 2024-25.

  • Rangers' Mika Zibanejad: Pair of points in overtime loss

Zibanejad scored a goal on four shots, dished an assist and added four hits in Sunday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Golden Knights.

Zibanejad continued his recent surge, which sees him riding a seven-game point streak. He has four goals and five assists in that span. The consistency is a big improvement over last year for the 32-year-old center. Zibanejad now has 11 goals, 24 points, 94 shots on net, 47 hits, 20 blocked shots and a minus-5 rating across 31 appearances.

  • Tomas Hertl C | LV

Golden Knights' Tomas Hertl: Nets tying goal Sunday

Hertl scored a goal on two shots and added two assists in Sunday's 3-2 overtime win over the Rangers.

Hertl continues to score in bunches -- he has four goals over his last four games. For the season, he's up to 13 goals, 22 points, 77 shots on net, 37 hits and a minus-5 rating through 28 appearances. While he's currently listed on the third line, Hertl's usage has been in line with that of a top-six forward thanks to his ample role on the first power-play unit. Fantasy managers can continue to trust him for steady scoring contributions and a bit of physical play.

  • Golden Knights' Brett Howden: Goal, assist in overtime win

Howden scored a goal, dished an assist, added two PIM, logged two hits and went plus-2 in Sunday's 3-2 overtime win over the Rangers.

Howden scored just 36 seconds into the game. He also had a hand in Jack Eichel's overtime tally with the secondary helper. Howden has the best opportunity of his career right now as the second-line center between Mitch Marner and Mark Stone. The 27-year-old Howden has put up four points over his last six contests. Overall, he has five goals, nine points, 28 shots on net, 44 hits and a minus-2 rating over 24 appearances. While the results aren't there quite yet, he's a fine speculative option for fantasy managers as long as he has two talented wingers to work alongside.

  • Jack Eichel C | LV

Golden Knights' Jack Eichel: Plays hero in overtime win

Eichel scored a goal on two shots and added an assist in Sunday's 3-2 overtime win over the Rangers.

Eichel had the secondary helper on Tomas Hertl's tying goal at 19:08 of the third period. In overtime, Eichel's partial breakaway goal won it for Vegas at 4:52 of the extra session. The 29-year-old has four multi-point efforts over his last eight games, racking up four goals and eight assists in that span. For the season, he's at 12 goals, 36 points, 110 shots on net and a plus-6 rating through 28 appearances.

  • Capitals' Aliaksei Protas: Fills empty cage Sunday

Protas scored an empty-net goal on two shots in Sunday's 2-0 win over the Blue Jackets.

Protas kept his point streak alive with the empty-netter. It's up to six games (four goals, two helpers), and he's gone plus-8 in that span. The 24-year-old forward continues to be an even-strength stud, racking up 18 of his 20 points at even strength -- he also has one assist each on the power play and while shorthanded. Protas has added 64 shots on net, 23 blocked shots and a plus-23 rating over 30 appearances this season.

  • Canadiens' Jared Davidson: Earns first NHL helper

Davidson notched an assist and two hits in Sunday's 4-3 loss to the Blues.

This was Davidson's first point in eight career NHL games, all of which have come since his Nov. 14 call-up from AHL Laval. The 23-year-old forward has been playing on the fourth line when in the lineup, so his chances to score will remain limited unless he carves out a larger role. Davidson has supplied seven shots on net, 17 hits and a minus-2 rating so far.

  • Blues' Brayden Schenn: Two goals, helper in win

Schenn scored twice on three shots, dished an assist and added five hits in Sunday's 4-3 win over the Canadiens.

Schenn's first goal was on the power play at 8:57 of the first period. He set up a Dylan Holloway tally in the second, and Holloway returned the favor on Schenn's game-winner midway through the third. This was Schenn's first multi-point effort since Oct. 13 versus the Canucks. The 34-year-old has just six goals and 13 points through 30 outings this season, though he's earned seven points over his last nine games. On the year, he also has 42 shots on net, 67 hits, 18 PIM and a minus-14 rating.
