  • Jets' Gabriel Vilardi: Scores, assists in win

Vilardi scored a goal and added an assist in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Predators.

Vilardi broke the deadlock for the Jets just 47 seconds into the game with a snap shot, and he later helped in the setup of Kyle Connor's third-period goal. Vilardi has been one of the most consistent and reliable fantasy producers for the Jets this season. This two-point effort -- his third in the last five games -- gives him 21 points (11 goals, 10 helpers) across 24 contests.

  • Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Tied for NHL lead in goals

Geekie scored two goals, including one on the power play, in Saturday's 3-2 shootout win over the Red Wings.

Geekie found the back of the net in the second and third periods, and he remains one of the most consistent forwards in the NHL from a goal-scoring perspective. The 27-year-old has eight goals over his last six games, and he's tied with Nathan MacKinnon for the league lead with 20 goals this season.

  • Red Wings' Michael Rasmussen: Scores late equalizer Saturday

Rasmussen scored a goal in Saturday's 3-2 shootout loss to the Bruins.

Rasmussen was the hero for the Red Wings after tying the game at the 18:06 mark of the third period with a tip-in. However, the Red Wings didn't complete the comeback and lost the game in the shootout. Rasmussen has four goals this season. He probably won't deliver much fantasy value from the fourth line this campaign, but he has 23 hits, eight points and 21 shots on net through 21 appearances.

  • Maple Leafs' Auston Matthews: First goal since return from injury

Matthews scored a goal and added an assist Saturday in a 7-2 victory over the Penguins.

It was his first goal in three games since returning from a lower-body injury; he missed five games from Nov. 13-22. Matthews has a modest two-game scoring streak (one goal, two assists) on the go. He's scoring at a 40-goal pace, but he'll need to increase his output to hit that plateau. Overall, Matthews has 17 points, including 10 goals, and 75 shots in 20 games this season.

  • Stars' Harrison Scott: Pots pair in Texas' win

Scott scored twice in AHL Texas' 5-3 win over Coachella Valley on Saturday.

Scott earned his first multi-goal game as a pro in this contest. He's heating up for Texas with two goals and four helpers over his last four outings. Overall, he's at four goals, 10 points and a plus-8 rating over 18 appearances this season, and it'll be a while before the 25-year-old pushes for a call-up to Dallas.

  • Ben Jones C | MIN

Wild's Ben Jones: Cedes spot in lineup

Jones was a healthy scratch for Saturday's 3-2 shootout loss to the Sabres.

Jones had played in the previous seven contests amid a rough stretch of injuries for the Wild. His exit coincided with the return of Vladimir Tarasenko (lower body). With Marco Rossi (lower body) also getting closer to a return, Jones' time on the NHL roster could be nearing an end. However, Jones will require waivers to return to AHL Iowa after appearing in 13 games. He has no points, a minus-5 rating, 11 shots on net and 28 hits this season.

  • Max Domi C | TOR

Maple Leafs' Max Domi: Big game in big role

Domi had two assists in Saturday's 7-2 victory over the Penguins.

It helped that he skated with Auston Matthews and Matthew Knies on the top line. Domi's fantasy value is tied to top-six deployment, but he's been unable to sustain any momentum in that kind of role. He may be shuffled at any time, or he might stick there for a few days. Domi snapped a six-game point drought with the assists. He has three goals, five assists and 36 shots in 24 games this season.

  • Josh Dunne C | BUF

Sabres' Josh Dunne: Pockets helper Saturday

Dunne registered an assist and four hits in Saturday's 3-2 shootout win over the Wild.

Dunne has slipped into a part-time role over the last week, getting scratched in two of the Sabres' last five games. The 26-year-old fills a fourth-line role when he plays, though he may sit more often if Jordan Greenway can stay healthy. Dunne has earned three points, 14 shots on net, 27 PIM, 21 hits and a minus-3 rating across 17 appearances this season, surpassing his total of NHL games from his first three campaigns combined.

  • Nicolas Roy C | COL

Maple Leafs' Nicolas Roy: Earns two points Saturday

Roy had a goal and an assist in a 7-2 win over the Penguins on Saturday.

His goal came on the power play. Roy has three points (one goal, two assists) in his last two appearances. He has only two goals and seven points through 22 games this season. Roy is excelling at the dot with a 53.1 winning percentage, but his offensive production has been lacking. Roy's goal was his first since Oct. 11, which was the second game of the season.

  • Bobby McMann C | SEA

Maple Leafs' Bobby McMann: Snaps six-game point drought

McMann had a goal and a power-play assist in a 7-2 win over Pittsburgh on Saturday.

The points snapped a six-game drought for McMann. His fantasy value is limited on the third line, and while he can fill in higher in the lineup, he doesn't have the talent to sustain that kind of gig long term. McMann does have 56 hits in 25 games, so there's some fantasy value in his effort.
