  • Jack Drury C | COL

Avalanche's Jack Drury: Fills empty cage

Drury scored an empty-net goal on three shots in Saturday's 3-0 win over the Predators.

Drury tallied with 51 seconds left in the game to produce the final score. He had posted just one assist over his last five outings. The 25-year-old has been the Avalanche's third-line center for much of the year, racking up four goals, nine points, 29 shots on net, 17 blocked shots and a plus-6 rating over 21 appearances. He doesn't score enough to help in standard fantasy formats, but he's on track to exceed the 30-point mark for the first time in his career.

  • Avalanche's Nathan MacKinnon: Deposits empty-netter

MacKinnon scored an empty-net goal in Saturday's 3-0 win over the Predators.

MacKinnon reclaimed the NHL goals lead for himself with the empty-netter, his 17th goal of the season. He's earned seven goals and 10 assists over his last seven outings. For the season, the superstar center is up to 37 points, 90 shots and a plus-23 rating over 21 appearances. MacKinnon's playing at an MVP level and should be locked into a starting spot in fantasy lineups.

  • Luca Pinelli C | CLB

Blue Jackets' Luca Pinelli: Three points in Saturday's win

Pinelli scored a goal and added two assists in AHL Cleveland's 5-3 win over Hershey on Saturday.

Pinelli has scored in three straight games, earning five of his 10 points on the year in that span. He's added 35 shots on net, 18 PIM and a minus-2 rating over 13 AHL appearances in his first full professional season. The 20-year-old winger will get as much time as he needs to develop in Cleveland before pushing for an NHL job with the Blue Jackets.

  • Lightning's Brayden Point: Hurt versus Capitals on Saturday

Point (undisclosed) did not finish Saturday's game versus the Capitals, and head coach Jon Cooper didn't have an update on his status after the contest, Eduardo A. Encina of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Point tried to play through the injury, sustained late in the second period, but he was done after taking just one shift in the third. The Lightning also lost Nikita Kucherov (undisclosed) to injury in the game, which could leave the team's offense short-staffed for Monday's home game versus the Flyers.

  • Maple Leafs' Benoit-Olivier Groulx: Two of each in AHL win

Groulx scored twice and added two assists in AHL Toronto's 7-2 win over Iowa on Saturday.

Groulx has earned just two multi-point efforts this year and went three games without a point prior to Saturday. The 25-year-old forward is now at 11 points in 16 appearances in his first year with the Marlies. He's never exceeded the 40-point mark in an AHL campaign, but he had 37 points in 47 outings with Hartford during the 2024-25 regular season and has a decent scoring touch on display so far in 2025-26.

  • Owen Beck C | MON

Canadiens' Owen Beck: Three assists in Laval's win

Beck recorded three assists in AHL Laval's 7-2 win over Belleville on Saturday.

Beck has earned both of his multi-point efforts over the last five games, totaling a goal and five assists in that span. For the year, he's at 10 points in 17 appearances. He earned a brief call-up in the NHL in October and went scoreless over two games, but the 21-year-old has plenty of time to grow his game with Laval before challenging for a full-time gig with the Canadiens.

  • Blues' Brayden Schenn: Quick opening goal Saturday

Schenn scored a goal on two shots and added two hits in Saturday's 2-1 win over the Islanders.

Schenn had gone 11 games without a goal, picking up just one assist with 16 shots on net and 16 hits in that span. It's not unusual for Schenn to go streaky during the season, though he's maintained a second-line role during his recent cold spell. Overall, the 34-year-old forward has just three goals, seven points, 31 shots on net, 46 hits, 16 PIM and a minus-15 rating through 22 appearances. That's a pace that would see him finish under 30 points for the first time since the abbreviated 2012-13 campaign.

  • Blue Jackets' Adam Fantilli: Stays hot with power-play tally

Fantilli scored a power-play goal on three shots and went minus-2 in Saturday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Red Wings.

Fantilli continues to fill the net -- he has seven goals over his last eight games. The 21-year-old center opened the scoring in Saturday's contest at 13:18 of the first period. Fantilli is up to nine goals, 17 points, 53 shots on net, 23 hits, 13 blocked shots and a minus-4 rating over 22 outings. He has two power-play points this campaign, but with his offense trending up recently, he should remain on the first line and top power-play unit.

  • Ridly Greig C | OTT

Senators' Ridly Greig: Not expected to play Saturday

Greig (undisclosed) is not in the projected lineup for Saturday's game versus the Sharks.

Greig is poised to miss his second straight game with the injury. He is day-to-day, but it's unclear when the 23-year-old will be ready to return. The Senators' next game is in Los Angeles on Monday as the team's season-long road trip continues.

  • Avalanche's Gavin Brindley: Deemed week-to-week

Brindley (lower body) is week-to-week, Evan Rawal of the Denver Gazette reports Saturday.

There's no firm timeline for the 21-year-old forward's return, but he will be evaluated further in a few weeks. Tristen Nielsen and Jason Polin are likely to both be in the lineup at least for Saturday's game versus the Predators. The Avalanche have made a lot of adjustments to their depth forwards via roster moves this year, so numerous players from AHL Colorado could be in the mix to help cover Brindley's absence.
