  • Pius Suter C | STL

Blues' Pius Suter: Ends goal drought with game-winner

Suter scored the game-winning goal on a team-high four shots on net in Saturday's 2-1 victory over the Islanders.

The 29-year-old center tapped home a rebound late in the second period to give the Blues a 2-0 lead. The tally snapped an eight-game goal drought for Suter, which included only two assists. Through 22 games in his first season with St. Louis, he's produced six goals and 11 points.

  • Ducks' Mikael Granlund: Not skating yet

Granlund (lower body) hasn't resumed skating yet, Derek Lee of The Hockey News reports Saturday.

Granlund will miss his fifth straight game against Vegas on Saturday, and it's unclear when he will be available to return. He has already missed 12 of the last 13 contests, and the Ducks probably won't rush him back into the lineup. Granlund has recorded three goals, six assists and 21 shots on net over nine appearances this season.

  • Alexandre Texier: Lands on unconditional waivers

Texier was placed on unconditional waivers by St. Louis on Saturday to terminate his contract, per Stephen Whyno of the Associated Press.

Assuming he clears, Texier will become an unrestricted free agent. He has provided one assist, seven shots on goal, one blocked shot and nine hits across eight appearances with St. Louis this season.

  • Ducks' Ryan Poehling: Set to miss more time

Poehling (upper body) participated in Saturday's morning skate but will be out for at least another week, Zach Cavanagh of The Sporting Tribune reports.

Poehling will miss his sixth straight game against Vegas on Saturday, but he could still return before the end of November. He has accounted for one goal, five assists, 11 shots on net, 13 blocked shots and seven hits across 16 appearances this season.

  • Avalanche's Gavin Brindley: Not on road trip

Brindley (lower body) didn't accompany Colorado on the team's two-game road trip, Avalanche journalist Collen Flynn reported Friday.

Brindley won't be available for at least Saturday's game against Nashville and Sunday's matchup versus Chicago. However, it's unclear when he will be available to return to the lineup. He has contributed four goals, seven points, 22 shots on net and 19 hits in 18 appearances this season.

  • J.T. Miller C | NYR

    Rangers' J.T. Miller: Considered day-to-day

Miller (upper body) is day-to-day and won't play against Utah on Saturday, Peter Baugh of The Athletic reports.

Miller has generated six goals, 12 points, 51 shots on net and 54 hits across 22 appearances this season. Based on the morning skate, Alexis Lafreniere will move up to the top line, and Juuso Parssinen will draw back into Saturday's lineup after being a healthy scratch for Thursday's 6-3 loss to Colorado.

  • Blackhawks' Connor Bedard: Earns two helpers in loss

Bedard recorded two assists, three blocked shots and two PIM in Friday's 9-3 loss to the Sabres.

Bedard has seven multi-point efforts over his last 12 games, amassing 10 goals and 13 assists in that span. He also managed to keep a plus-1 rating despite the blowout loss Friday. Bedard is at 13 goals, 18 assists, 71 shots on net, 22 PIM and a plus-9 rating through 21 outings overall in what's shaping up to be his star-making season.

  • Ryan McLeod C | BUF

Sabres' Ryan McLeod: Scores, assists Friday

McLeod scored an even-strength goal and a power-play assist in Friday's 9-3 win over the Blackhawks.

McLeod snapped a two-game point drought in what turned out to be a very productive performance for Buffalo, with each of the top-six forwards recording at least two points. McLeod hasn't been very productive of late despite holding a steady top-six role. He has four points (two goals, two assists) in 10 appearances since the beginning of November.

  • Sabres' Tage Thompson: Scores in fifth straight

Thompson recorded a goal, an assist, four shots on goal, two hits and a plus-2 rating in Friday's 9-3 win over the Blackhawks.

Thompson has been on a tear of late and has scored in five straight games, as well as doing so in six of the Sabres' last seven contests. He's up to 11 goals and 20 total points across 21 games this season, and the 28-year-old center is firmly entrenched as one of the Sabres' most reliable offensive weapons. He's recorded over 65 total points in three of the last four seasons, and he looks on pace to surpass that mark again in 2025-26.

  • Wild's Joel Eriksson Ek: Scores, assists in win

Eriksson Ek delivered a power-play goal and an even-strength assist in Friday's 5-0 win over the Penguins.

Eriksson Ek has cracked the scoresheet in four of the Wild's last six games, and this was the second time he recorded a multi-point performance in that span. The 28-year-old winger has 15 points (four goals, 11 assists) in 22 games this season, and he looks to be on pace to surpass the numbers he posted in 2024-25, when he had 29 points across 46 regular-season contests.
