  • Jake Evans C | MON

Canadiens' Jake Evans: Good to go

Evans (undisclosed) will be in the lineup against Toronto on Saturday, according to Eric Engels of Sportsnet.

Evans left Thursday's 8-4 loss to Washington after receiving a high hit from Tom Wilson. The 29-year-old Evans didn't experience any concussion symptoms and won't miss additional time due to the incident. He has contributed three goals, six points, 24 shots on net, 17 blocked shots and 26 hits in 20 appearances this season.

  • Nic Dowd C | LV

    Capitals' Nic Dowd: Unavailable Saturday

Dowd (upper body) won't play against Tampa Bay on Saturday, Sammi Silber of The Hockey News reports.

Despite participating in the morning skate, Dowd remains day-to-day and will miss his third straight game. He has contributed one goal, four assists, 21 shots on net and 33 hits across 19 appearances this season. Once he's ready to play, Dowd will probably replace Sonny Milano on Washington's fourth line.

  • Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Nets both goals in win

Geekie scored a pair of goals on three shots and added three hits in Friday's 2-1 overtime win over the Kings.

Geekie opened the scoring at 8:01 of the third period and closed it out with the game-winner 2:27 into overtime. He's back in a tie for first in the league in goals with 16, even with Colorado superstar Nathan MacKinnon. This was Geekie's second multi-goal game in a row. The 27-year-old has 22 points, 59 shots on net, 42 hits and a minus-7 rating over 23 appearances. At this point, he's too good to be lingering on the waiver wire, but fantasy managers should still be ready to pivot if his percentage-driven success falls off.

  • James Hagens C | BOS

Bruins' James Hagens: Scores twice in Friday's win

Hagens scored two goals in Boston College's 7-3 win over the University of Maine on Friday.

Hagens is heating up and now has six goals and seven assists over 12 contests this season. As expected, Hagens is playing a large role for the Eagles this season. The 2025 No. 7 overall pick is projected to be more of a playmaker, but developing a scoring touch in his college career can only help his case for a quick rise to the Bruins' NHL roster in a year or two.

  • Flyers' Jett Luchanko: Five helpers in loss

Luchanko logged five assists in OHL Guelph's 10-7 loss to Owen Sound on Friday.

Luchanko has just two goals over nine games since returning to the Storm, but he's also amassed a superb 14 helpers. Friday's effort was some of his best work, and he also managed to go plus-3 in the high-scoring contest. Luchanko hasn't had any trouble shaking off the rust after his NHL stint to begin the year ended with three healthy scratches in four games.

  • Jets' Gabriel Vilardi: Scores twice in loss

Vilardi scored two goals, including one on the power play, and added four shots on net and two PIM in Friday's 4-3 loss to the Hurricanes.

Vilardi did his part in this contest after being limited to just one goal and no assists over his previous seven outings. The recent drop in offense has cost him a spot on the top power-play unit, but he remains on the first line at even strength. Vilardi is up to eight goals, 16 points (six on the power play), 49 shots on net and a minus-2 rating through 20 games this season.

  • Seth Jarvis C | CAR

Hurricanes' Seth Jarvis: Nets shorthanded tally

Jarvis scored a shorthanded goal on three shots in Friday's 4-3 win over the Jets.

Jarvis ended a five-game goal drought with his second-period shortie to put the Hurricanes ahead 3-2. The 23-year-old forward has bounced back after leaving last Friday's game versus the Canucks due to an eye injury, picking up a point in each of the last two contests. On the year, Jarvis is up to 11 goals and 18 points, with two of his tallies coming shorthanded compared to one power-play goal. He's added 64 shots, 16 hits and a plus-5 rating in 21 outings, mainly in a top-line role.

  • Jordan Staal C | CAR

Hurricanes' Jordan Staal: Two goals in win over Jets

Staal scored twice in Friday's 4-3 win over the Jets.

Staal tallied just 16 seconds into the game, and when that lead evaporated, he tied the score at 2-2 in the early stages of the second period. He's scored four goals over his last four contests, which is a remarkable run of scoring for a 37-year-old defensive center. Overall, Staal has seven goals, two helpers, 27 shots on net, 37 hits, 23 PIM and a plus-2 rating through 21 appearances in his usual middle-six role.

  • Maple Leafs' Tyler Hopkins: Scores twice in overtime loss

Hopkins scored two goals in OHL Kingston's 3-2 overtime loss to Peterborough on Friday.

Hopkins has impressed in November with four goals and four assists over his last six games. The 18-year-old is up to 10 goals, 20 points, 62 shots on net and a plus-5 rating through 22 appearances. The Maple Leafs prospect has overcome inconsistency from earlier in the season and is starting to rack up more offense as he settles in during his third junior campaign.

  • Adam Benak C | MIN

Wild's Adam Benak: Pots two in Brantford's win

Benak scored twice in OHL Brantford's 7-2 win over Sarnia on Friday.

Benak has four goals and seven points over his last three games, and he's posted five multi-point efforts over nine outings in November. He's up to 13 goals and 25 assists over 21 appearances this season while continuing to play a leading role in Brantford's offense.
