Lars Eller C | WAS
Capitals' Lars Eller: Pots two goals
Eller tallied two goals, two shots and a plus-2 rating during Monday's 4-1 win over the Panthers.
Eller netted the tying goal late in the first period and salted the game with an empty-netter as the Capitals took down the defending Stanley Cup champion Panthers. The 35-year-old is up to three points in six games since returning the Capitals, but he may not have much to offer from a fantasy perspective as long as he's outside of precious top-six minutes.

Sam Bennett C | FLA
Panthers' Sam Bennett: Dishes helper
Bennett recorded an assist, two shots and a minus-2 rating during Monday's 4-1 loss to the Capitals.
Bennett got back on the scoresheet after being blanked in his previous two outings. The 28-year-old has notched an impressive nine goals and 10 helpers over 21 games and is on track to smash his previous career-high of 49 points in 71 contests, a mark he set during the 2021-22 season.

Marat Khusnutdinov C | MIN
Wild's Marat Khusnutdinov: Not ready to return
Khusnutdinov (lower body) will miss Monday's home matchup against Winnipeg, Michael Russo of The Athletic reports.
Khusnutdinov will miss his second straight game -- the 22-year-old was a game-time decision Monday, so that may suggest his lower-body injury isn't overly serious. Ben Jones will occupy the fourth-line center role versus the Jets. Khusnutdinov's next chance to suit up will be in Buffalo on Wednesday.
-
William Karlsson C | LV
Golden Knights' William Karlsson: Won't suit up Monday
Karlsson (personal) will not be in the lineup Monday versus Philadelphia, per Danny Webster of the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
Karlsson will miss his ninth game of the season and first since Oct. 25. Mason Morelli will draw into the lineup in Karlsson's stead. The left-shot center Karlsson's next chance to suit up will come Wednesday in Colorado.

Travis Boyd C | MIN
Wild's Travis Boyd: Shifted to regular recall
Boyd has been moved from an emergency recall to a regular recall Monday.
What that means is Boyd no longer needs to be returned to AHL Iowa if Kirill Kaprizov (lower body) or Marat Khusnutdinov (lower body) return Monday versus Winnipeg, according to Michael Russo of The Athletic. It's possible Minnesota did this in anticipation of Kaprizov playing against the Jets, but the star forward is officially a game-time decision. Boyd has two goals and 11 points in 13 AHL outings in 2024-25. He also made his NHL season debut Saturday, but he didn't record any points, shots, hits or blocks in 8:23 of ice time.

Nico Sturm C | SJ
Sharks' Nico Sturm: Activated off IR
Sturm (upper body) has been removed from injured reserve ahead of Monday's matchup with the Kings, per the NHL media site.
Sturm looks set to take on a bottom-six role with his upper-body injury seemingly behind him. Prior to his five-game absence, the 29-year-old center recorded five points, 11 hits and nine blocked shots in his previous 10 outings. Given his limited offensive upside, Sturm is unlikely to offer much fantasy value moving forward.
-
Marc McLaughlin C | BOS
Bruins' Marc McLaughlin: Back with big club
McLaughlin was recalled from AHL Providence on Monday.
McLaughlin has been a healthy scratch for the last two games, and he will probably serve as an extra forward again in Tuesday's matchup versus Vancouver. He has five goals and 10 points in 15 minor-league outings this season.
-
Philip Tomasino C | PIT
Penguins' Philip Tomasino: Headed to Steel City
Tomasino was traded to Pittsburgh from Nashville on Monday in exchange for a 2027 fourth-round pick.
At just 23 years of age, Tomasino certainly fits the bill as part of general manager Kyle Dubas' goal of getting younger. The 23-year-old natural center has played in 11 games for the Predators this season in which he generated one assist, 10 hits and 17 shots on goal while averaging 11:18 of ice time. With his new club, Tomasino should be in the mix for a bottom-six role, though he is far from a lock for the lineup on a nightly basis and could be a healthy scratch periodically.
-
Nico Sturm C | SJ
Sharks' Nico Sturm: Considered game-time decision
Sturm (upper body) is considered a game-time decision for Monday's matchup against Los Angeles, Curtis Pashelka of The San Jose Mercury News reports.
Sturm has spent the last week on injured reserve due to an upper-body injury, but he'll be in the mix to return to action against the Kings. However, the Sharks want to see how he feels in the hours leading up to puck drop, and if he isn't cleared to return Monday, his next chance to suit up will be Wednesday against Ottawa.

Zach Hyman C | EDM
Oilers' Zach Hyman: Still not ready to play
Hyman (undisclosed) remains 5-8 days away from returning to the lineup, Jason Gregor of Sports 1440 Edmonton reports Monday.
Based on Hyman's timeline, he figures to miss the Oilers' next two contests at a minimum. Considering the 32-year-old winger has already missed a pair of contests due to his undisclosed injury, he could be a candidate for injured reserve if the team decides it needs the extra roster spot. With Viktor Arvidsson (undisclosed) also sidelined, the Oilers will likely need to bring a forward up from AHL Bakersfield. Drake Caggiula was sent down Saturday, but that's likely for cap savings during a five-day gap between games for the Oilers.
