  • Sharks' Zack Ostapchuk: Up from minors

Ostapchuk was summoned by the Sharks on Thursday, per Sheng Peng of San Jose Hockey Now.

Ostapchuk has two goals and three points in nine appearances with AHL San Jose in 2025-26. Michael Misa (lower body) has already been ruled out for Friday's clash against Winnipeg, while William Eklund (lower body) is questionable for the game. If Eklund can't play, and Ryan Reaves (lower body) isn't ready to be activated off injured reserve, then Ostapchuk will probably play Friday in a bottom-six capacity.

  • Sharks' Michael Misa: Ruled out versus Jets

Misa (lower body) will not be in the lineup against Winnipeg on Friday, Sheng Peng of San Jose Hockey Now reports.

The full extent of Misa's lower-body injury hasn't been determined yet, as he continues to be evaluated, but he will be on the shelf for his second straight game. With Misa unavailable, Adam Gaudette figures to remain in a top-six role alongside Philipp Kurashev. Considering the Sharks are heading into a back-to-back, it seems unlikely Misa will be cleared in time to face Florida on Saturday, though he hasn't been officially ruled out.

  • Maple Leafs' Auston Matthews: Tallies in Wednesday's win

Matthews scored a goal on two shots in Wednesday's 5-3 win over the Mammoth.

Matthews is heating up with three goals and an assist over three outings in November. The 28-year-old had been limited to one helper over the three contests to close out October. He's produced eight goals, 12 points, 57 shots on net, 27 blocked shots, 12 hits, six PIM and a plus-10 rating through 14 appearances as the centerpiece of Toronto's offense.

  • Matt Duchene C | DAL

Stars' Matt Duchene: Not playing Thursday

Duchene (upper body) will sit out his ninth straight game Thursday against Anaheim, Dallas beat writer Robert Tiffin reports.

Duchene had a terrific 2024-25 season at the age of 33. He had 30 goals and 52 assists with 27 points coming via the power play, in 82 regular-season games. He had a goal and an assist in four appearances this season prior to sustaining his injury.

  • Cody Glass C | NJ

Devils' Cody Glass: Good to go for Thursday's game

Glass (upper body) will play in Thursday's game against Montreal.

Glass wasn't initially expected to return for Thursday's game against the Canadiens, but head coach Sheldon Keefe said that the center felt better than expected Thursday and has been cleared to return. Over six regular-season appearances this year, Glass has recorded two goals, three hits, two blocked shots and six PIM while averaging 12:34 of ice time.

  • Rangers' Vincent Trocheck: Practicing in non-contact jersey

Trocheck (upper body) is practicing in a non-contact jersey Thursday, Vince Z. Mercogliano of The Athletic reports.

Trocheck is on long-term injured reserve, but he is eligible to return at any time. He is not yet ready, as he is still not allowed any contact at practice. The 32-year-old had an assist in two games before his injury after accumulating 26 goals and 33 assists in 82 regular-season games for the Rangers in 2024-25.

  • Penguins' Filip Hallander: Not playing Thursday

Hallander (undiclosed) has been ruled out of Thursday's contest against Washington, Michelle Crechiolo of the Penguins' official site reports.

Hallander was injured at practice Wednesday. The 25-year-old has a goal and three helpers in 13 games in 2025-26. The Penguins recalled Joona Koppanen, and he will join the lineup in a bottom-six role.

  • Blue Jackets' Luca Del Bel Belluz: Recalled by Columbus

Del Bel Belluz was recalled from AHL Cleveland on Thursday.

Del Bel Belluz has had a solid start to the year in the AHL, racking up three goals and two assists over seven appearances. The Blue Jackets are dealing with several injuries, so Del Bel Belluz will help provide additional depth for the NHL club. He made 15 regular-season appearances for Columbus last year, recording two goals, six assists, 12 blocked shots and four hits while averaging 13:45 of ice time.

  • Tyson Kozak C | BUF

Sabres' Tyson Kozak: Set to return Thursday

Kozak (lower body) is slated to return for Thursday's game against the Blues, Paul Hamilton of WGR Sports Radio 550 reports.

Kozak missed the last five games due to his lower-body injury, but he's set to be activated off injured reserve ahead of Thursday's matchup. He'll likely reclaim a bottom-six role now that he's been cleared to return. Over his first seven appearances of the season, Kozak recorded two goals, 19 hits and four blocked shots while averaging 9:52 of ice time.

  • Penguins' Filip Hallander: Injured at practice Wednesday

Hallander suffered an undisclosed injury at practice Wednesday, Matt Vensel of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Hallander's status for Thursday's home tilt versus Washington is up in the air, though the Penguins did recall Joona Koppanen from AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Thursday. Hallander has a goal and three assists in 13 games this season, averaging 13:09 of ice time.
