  • Oliver Moore C | CHI

Blackhawks' Oliver Moore: Up from AHL

Moore was summoned from AHL Rockford on Monday, per Scott Powers of The Athletic.

Moore has produced six goals and nine points in nine minor-league outings this campaign. He could make his NHL season debut against Seattle on Monday. Moore collected four assists, 10 shots on goal and six hits over nine appearances with the Blackhawks during the 2024-25 regular season.

  • Matt Duchene C | DAL

Stars' Matt Duchene: Won't play Tuesday

Duchene (upper body) isn't expected to play Tuesday against Edmonton, Lia Assimakopoulos of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Duchene remains day-to-day due to his upper-body injury, and he'll be unavailable for an eighth consecutive game Tuesday. It's not yet clear when he'll be in the mix to return to game action, but his next opportunity to do so will be Thursday against the Ducks.

  • Adam Lowry C | WPG

Jets' Adam Lowry: Season debut on tap

Lowry (hip) will make his season debut Tuesday against the Kings.

Lowry has spent the start of the year recovering from hip surgery that he underwent in late May, but he'll be able to return to the lineup Tuesday for the first time in the 2025-26 campaign. The 32-year-old will likely handle a third-line center role for the Jets now that he's healthy, but it's possible that he pushes Jonathan Toews for a spot in the top six at some point.

  • Jets' Morgan Barron: Considered week-to-week

Barron (undisclosed) is week-to-week, according to Ken Wiebe of The Winnipeg Free Press on Monday.

Barron didn't participate in Monday's practice after being injured in Saturday's 5-2 win over Pittsburgh. He has chipped in three goals, six points, 15 shots on net, seven blocked shots and 20 hits through 12 outings this season. Barron could be replaced by Nikita Chibrikov on Tuesday versus the Kings if Adam Lowry (hip) isn't ready to return.

  • Jiri Kulich C | BUF

Sabres' Jiri Kulich: Doubtful for Tuesday's game

Kulich is doubtful for Tuesday's game against Utah due to an unspecified issue, Paul Hamilton of WGR Sports Radio 550 reports.

Head coach Lindy Ruff said Monday that Kulich was unable to finish Saturday's game against the Capitals due to his issue, but Ruff said that the issue isn't a physical concern or an injury. Kulich will presumably be sidelined for at least one game and should tentatively be considered day-to-day.

  • Maple Leafs' Scott Laughton: Getting close to return

Laughton (lower body) is close to making his season debut, Lance Hornby of The Toronto Sun reports Monday.

Laughton remains on injured reserve and will miss his 13th straight game against Pittsburgh on Monday. It remains unclear when he will return to the lineup, but the wait may not be much longer. Once Laughton receives the green light to play, he will likely occupy a bottom-six role.

  • Bruins' Elias Lindholm: Deemed week-to-week

Lindholm (lower body) is considered week-to-week, Joe Haggerty of Boston Sports Journal reports Monday.

Head coach Marco Sturm indicated Friday that Lindholm was slated to miss a few weeks after sustaining a lower-body injury, and his MRI confirmed that he'll be evaluated on a weekly basis. John Beecher will likely continue to play an increased role for the Bruins while Lindholm is sidelined.

  • Blues' Robert Thomas: Ready to rock

Thomas (upper body) will return to the lineup against Edmonton on Monday, Lou Korac of NHL.com reports.

Following a four-game absence, Thomas will return to the first line and top power-play unit. He has registered one goal, five assists, eight shots on net and six blocked shots across eight appearances this campaign.

  • Maple Leafs' Steven Lorentz: Not playing Monday

Lorentz (upper body) won't play against Pittsburgh on Monday, according to Luke Fox of Sportsnet.

Lorentz participated in Monday's morning skate and is feeling much better, but he will miss his second straight game. However, he hopes to be an option for Wednesday's contest against Utah. Lorentz has contributed four assists, eight shots on goal, five blocked shots and 18 hits through eight appearances this season.

  • Bo Horvat C | NYI

Islanders' Bo Horvat: Helps out on power play

Horvat picked up a power-play assist and put two shots on net in Sunday's 3-2 win over Columbus.

Horvat played a hand in the career day for Matthew Schaefer as he assisted the young defenseman's first tally on a power play in the opening period. Overall, the 30-year-old Horvat has six assists, 13 points and 40 shots on net in 12 games this season. The Islanders' top-line center has at least one point in all but four of his appearances this year, putting him on the right track for a career-best season. Horvat has only reached the 70-point mark once, but with a plethora of solid goal-scoring options to join him on the top line at any point this season, he could reach that mark again.
