Capitals' Dylan Strome: Slated to play
Strome (lower body) is expected to play Saturday versus the Sabres, Bailey Johnson of The Washington Post reports.
Strome was labeled a game-time decision earlier in the day, but he took warmups in a top-six spot while Spencer Smallman was an extra. The 28-year-old Strome will functionally replace Pierre-Luc Dubois (lower body) in the lineup for this contest.

Capitals' Dylan Strome: Game-time call
Strome (lower body) will be a game-time decision against Buffalo on Saturday, per Bailey Johnson of The Washington Post.
Strome has two goals and 10 points in nine appearances with Washington in 2025-26. He's missed the Capitals' past two games because of the injury. Spencer Smallman might make his NHL debut if Strome isn't able to face the Sabres.

Gavin Brindley C | COL
Avalanche's Gavin Brindley: Not playing Saturday
Brindley (upper body) won't play against San Jose on Saturday, according to Corey Masisak of the Denver Post.
Brindley will miss at least one game after being injured in Friday's 4-2 win over Vegas. He has chipped in one goal, one assist, 12 shots on net and nine hits across 11 appearances this season. Due to Brindley's absence, Taylor Makar will make his NHL debut on Colorado's fourth line versus the Sharks on Saturday.

Seth Jarvis C | CAR
Hurricanes' Seth Jarvis: Good to go Saturday
Jarvis (lower body) will play against Boston on Saturday, per the NHL media site.
Jarvis won't miss additional time after blocking a shot in the third period of Thursday's 6-2 win over the Islanders. He will occupy his regular roles on the top line and first power-play unit versus the Bruins. He has accounted for seven goals, 11 points, 35 shots on net, five blocked shots and six hits over 10 appearances this season.

Matt Duchene C | DAL
Stars' Matt Duchene: Not available Saturday
Duchene (upper body) will miss Saturday's tilt in Florida, Owen Newkirk of DLLS Sports reports.
Duchene is not in concussion protocol, according to head coach Glen Gulutzan, but is day-to-day. Duchene will miss his seventh straight game. He has one goal and one assist in four appearances this season.

Sean Couturier C | PHI
Flyers' Sean Couturier: Game-time call
Couturier (upper body) will be a game-time decision against Toronto on Saturday, Charlie O'Connor of PHLY Sports reports.
Couturier participated in Saturday's morning skate, but he wasn't involved in line rushes. He sat out the final two periods of Thursday's 4-1 win over Nashville due to the injury. Couturier has accounted for two goals, seven assists, 16 shots on net, nine blocked shots and nine hits across 10 appearances this season. If Couturier receives the green light to play against the Maple Leafs on Saturday, Jacob Gaucher will probably be a healthy scratch.

Hurricanes' Seth Jarvis: Game-time decision
Jarvis (lower body) will be a game-time decision against Boston on Saturday, according to Walt Ruff of the Hurricanes' official site.
Jarvis had to be helped off the ice following a shot block in the third period of Thursday's 6-2 win over the Islanders. However, he might not miss additional action. If Jarvis can't play, the Hurricanes will dress 11 forwards and seven defensemen versus the Bruins on Saturday.

Mason McTavish C | ANA
Ducks' Mason McTavish: Pots game-winner Friday
McTavish scored a goal on two shots in Friday's 5-2 win over the Red Wings.
McTavish's tally at 6:35 of the second period stood as the game-winner. The center had been limited to two assists over his previous four outings. He's produced two goals, six helpers, 19 shots on net, 16 hits, 10 PIM and a minus-2 rating through 10 contests this season. McTavish is firmly in a top-six role with a spot on the first power-play unit, so he should be able to sustain a strong performance on offense.

Leo Carlsson C | ANA
Ducks' Leo Carlsson: Four-point burst in win
Carlsson scored a goal on two shots, added three assists and went plus-3 in Friday's 5-2 win over the Red Wings.
Carlsson's tally came at even strength, but he had a helper on Troy Terry's shorthanded goal and empty-netter and also assisted a Chris Kreider power-play marker. The 20-year-old Carlsson has three goals and six assists during his five-game point streak. The Swedish center is up to five tallies, 10 helpers, 27 shots on net, seven blocked shots and a plus-5 rating through 10 appearances. This is a breakout season in the making for the second-overall pick from 2023.

Luca Del Bel Belluz C | CLB
Blue Jackets' Luca Del Bel Belluz: Tallies twice for Monsters
Del Bel Belluz scored two goals on four shots in AHL Cleveland's 4-3 overtime win over Milwaukee on Friday.
Del Bel Belluz has opened the AHL campaign with five points over six outings. The 21-year-old center put up eight points over 15 games with the Blue Jackets last year, so he's essentially knocking on the door of the NHL. The Blue Jackets have been unusually healthy to begin 2025-26, but Del Bel Belluz figures to be one of the first call-ups when injuries arise in Columbus.
