Gavin Brindley C | COL
Avalanche's Gavin Brindley: Injured Friday
Brindley (upper body) sustained an injury on a hit in Friday's game versus the Golden Knights, but there was no update on his status after the contest, Corey Masisak of The Denver Post reports.
Brindley was hurt in the second period. The 21-year-old has been filling a fourth-line role this season. His status for Saturday's game against the Sharks may boil down to a game-time decision.

Dylan Strome C | WAS
Capitals' Dylan Strome: Out of action Friday
Strome (lower body) won't play versus the Islanders on Friday, Sammi Silber of The Hockey News reports.
Strome was considered a game-time decision but did not take the ice for warmups. He hasn't been ruled out for Saturday's game in Buffalo, and it's possible the Capitals are simply making sure he doesn't play back-to-back contests immediately upon his return from injury. Sonny Milano will likely be in the lineup Friday.

Vladislav Namestnikov C | WPG
Jets' Vladislav Namestnikov: Opens scoring on power play
Namestnikov scored a power-play goal on three shots in Thursday's 6-3 win over the Blackhawks.
Namestnikov has three goals over his last four games. This was his second power-play tally of the season, and he's at six total points with 14 shots on net, 10 hits, five blocked shots and a plus-1 rating through 11 appearances. Namestnikov won't be among the Jets' leading scorers, but he provides steady secondary offense while seeing ice time in all situations.

Jacob Gaucher C | PHI
Flyers' Jacob Gaucher: Recalled from AHL
The Flyers called up Gaucher from AHL Lehigh Valley on Friday.
The Flyers are down to 12 healthy forwards as Sean Couturier left Thursday's game with an undisclosed injury. Gaucher had one goal and one helper in eight AHL games before his recall. The Flyers sent Emil Andrae to Lehigh Valley in a corresponding move Friday.

Mark Scheifele C | WPG
Jets' Mark Scheifele: Keeps streak alive
Scheifele notched a goal and two assists while posting a plus-3 rating in Thursday's 6-3 win over the Blackhawks.
Scheifele extended his point streak to four games, and this was the third time he has recorded a multi-point performance in that span. The star playmaker has been one of the most productive forwards in the Western Conference this season with 18 points (nine goals, nine assists) across 11 games so far.

Gabriel Vilardi C | WPG
Jets' Gabriel Vilardi: Records season-high three points
Vilardi notched two goals and one assist in Thursday's 6-3 win over the Blackhawks. He also took five shots on goal and posted a plus-3 rating.
Vilardi gave the Jets a 2-1 lead at the 16:56 mark of the first period with a wrister. He doubled his personal tally with another wrister, this time at the 11:19 mark of the second frame, to give the Jets a 4-1 lead. Vilardi would close out his contributions with an assist on the team's sixth goal, courtesy of Kyle Connor. This was Vilardi's first game with at least three points, and it also extended his point streak to four games. He has seven points (four goals, three helpers) over that stretch.

Gustav Nyquist RW | WPG
Jets' Gustav Nyquist: Unavailable for Saturday
Nyquist (undisclosed) will miss Saturday's clash against Pittsburgh, per Mitchell Clinton of the Jets' official site on Friday.
Nyquist left Thursday's 6-3 win over Chicago because of the injury. He has five assists in 11 appearances this year. Brad Lambert is projected to draw into the lineup Saturday due to Nyquist's absence. The 36-year-old Nyquist is regarded as day-to-day, so there's still a chance he'll be available for Tuesday's tilt in LA.

Teuvo Teravainen C | CHI
Blackhawks' Teuvo Teravainen: Nets goal vs. Winnipeg
Teravainen scored a goal and took three shots on goal in Thursday's 6-3 loss to the Jets.
The 31-year-old winger has done a good job as a playmaker this season with seven assists in 11 contests, but his scoring contributions have been lacking a bit. In fact, this was his first goal since the season opener, when he had two points in a 3-2 loss to the Panthers on Oct. 7. Teravainen has nine points this season, though only two goals so far.

Scott Laughton C | LA
Maple Leafs' Scott Laughton: Doubtful for Saturday's game
Head coach Craig Berube said Friday that Laughton (lower body) is doubtful for Saturday's game against the Flyers, Luke Fox of Sportsnet reports.
Laughton has been on injured reserve since the start of the year due to his lower-body injury, but he's progressed in his recovery over the past week, as he resumed skating individually. He participated in Friday's practice session but will likely require at least one more matchup on the shelf before he's in the mix to return to game action.

Steven Lorentz C | TOR
Maple Leafs' Steven Lorentz: Doesn't practice Friday
Lorentz (upper body) didn't participate in Friday's practice session and is considered day-to-day, Luke Fox of Sportsnet reports.
Lorentz exited Wednesday's game against the Blue Jackets due to an upper-body injury, and his status for Saturday's matchup against Philadelphia appears to be in question. Lorentz is riding a two-game point streak in which he's recorded a pair of assists to go with two hits and a minus-1 rating.
