Calle Jarnkrok C | TOR
Maple Leafs' Calle Jarnkrok: Cleared to play Saturday
Jarnkrok (lower body) practiced Friday and is good to go Saturday in Philadelphia, Luke Fox of Sportsnet reports.
Jarnkrok was unavailable Tuesday and Wednesday with the injury. The 34-year-old potted goals in each of the first three games of the season but has not found the scoresheet in his last five appearances. There is no guarantee Jarnkrok will return to the lineup Saturday, but if he does, he is likely to take the place of Steven Lorentz, who is day-to-day with an upper-body injury.

Nick Paul C | TB
Lightning's Nick Paul: Out at least another week
Paul (upper body) will accompany the team on its upcoming three-game road trip but will not play, Benjamin Pierce of the Lightning's official site reports Friday.
Head coach Jon Cooper said Friday that Paul will become day-to-day once the Lightning return from their road trip. The Lightning play the Capitals at home Nov. 8, the first time Paul could make his 2025-26 debut. He had 22 goals and 19 helpers across 76 regular-season games last year.

Connor Bedard C | CHI
Blackhawks' Connor Bedard: Two assists Thursday
Bedard had two assists and three shots in Thursday's 6-3 loss to the Jets.
Bedard couldn't extend his goal streak to three games, but the star center still found a way to make an impact after assisting on two of the team's three goals. Bedard has cracked the scoresheet in four of Chicago's last five games, tallying eight points (four goals, four helpers) over that stretch.

Benjamin Kindel C | PIT
Penguins' Benjamin Kindel: Deposits power-play goal
Kindel scored a power-play goal in Thursday's 4-1 win over the Wild.
This was Kindel's 10th career game, so his entry-level contract has officially started. That likely means the Penguins will keep him on the NHL roster throughout the season, though Team Canada may inquire about his availability for the World Junior Championship in December. Kindel has three goals, 17 shots on net, eight blocked shots and a minus-1 rating so far, and he's filling a third-line role when in the lineup. The 18-year-old will have his usage managed early on, but it wouldn't be surprising to see him become an everyday player in the second half of the campaign.

Yegor Sharangovich C | CGY
Flames' Yegor Sharangovich: Earns 200th career point
Sharangovich scored a power-play goal on two shots in Thursday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Senators.
The goal was Sharangovich's 200th point in the NHL. The 27-year-old has scored in two of the last three games, but he's still looking for consistency in a poor start to 2025-26 that saw him get scratched twice last week. The versatile forward has three points, 16 shots on net and a minus-6 rating over 10 appearances and isn't adding enough non-scoring production to help in fantasy while his offense is quiet.

Nazem Kadri C | COL
Flames' Nazem Kadri: Tallies in shootout loss
Kadri scored a goal on four shots in Thursday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Senators.
Kadri extended his point streak to four games (three goals, two assists) with the third-period tally. The 35-year-old's offense has sparked a stronger performance for the rest of the team, which has 14 goals over the last four contests. Kadri is at three goals, nine points, 36 shots on net, eight PIM and a minus-7 rating across 12 outings this season, though he maintains a top-line role and a spot on the first power-play unit.

Mark Kastelic C | BOS
Bruins' Mark Kastelic: Nets goal Thursday
Kastelic scored a goal in Thursday's 4-3 overtime win over the Sabres.
Kastelic snapped a seven-game point drought with the tally late in the second period. The 26-year-old forward has filled a bottom-six role this season, so his scoring contributions are likely to be irregular. He's at three goals, one assist, 16 shots on net, 25 hits, 18 blocked shots, nine PIM and a plus-3 rating over 13 appearances.
-
Morgan Geekie C | BOS
Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Goal streak at six games
Geekie scored a power-play goal on two shots in Thursday's 4-3 overtime win over the Sabres.
Geekie has a power-play tally in each of the last two games, and he's scored in six straight contests, totaling seven goals in that span. The 27-year-old is up to 11 points, 27 shots on net, 23 hits and a minus-5 rating through 13 appearances. The Bruins haven't had much depth this season, but Geekie's top-line spot has been fruitful, though his production may slip in the absence of Elias Lindholm (lower body).

Seth Jarvis C | CAR
Hurricanes' Seth Jarvis: Could play Saturday
Head coach Rod Brind'Amour said Friday that Jarvis (lower body) hasn't yet been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Bruins, Chip Alexander of The Raleigh News & Observer reports.
Jarvis exited Thursday's game against the Islanders due to an apparent lower-body injury, and Brind'Amour said after the matchup that he wasn't optimistic about the 23-year-old's status. However, Jarvis' injury doesn't appear to be as significant as initially feared. Even if he's held out of Saturday's game, it doesn't appear as though he's facing a long-term absence.

Elias Lindholm C | BOS
Bruins' Elias Lindholm: Set to miss several weeks
Head coach Marco Sturm said Friday that Lindholm (lower body) will be out for a few weeks, Adam Pellerin of NESN reports.
Lindholm suffered a lower-body injury against the Sabres on Thursday and is undergoing an MRI on Friday to determine the extent of the issue. However, he's slated to face a multi-week absence, even before the results of his imaging are known. John Beecher is slated to draw into the lineup Saturday against Carolina, while Fraser Minten will likely shift into a top-six role.
