    Cooley signed an eight-year, $80 million contract extension with the Mammoth on Wednesday, Chris Johnston of The Athletic

    Cooley has had a hot start to the 2025-26 campaign, racking up eight goals and 12 points over his first 11 appearances of the season. The 21-year-old has been a key contributor for the franchise since signing his entry-level deal in 2023, and he'll now remain with the Mammoth on a long-term basis.

  • Avalanche's Nathan MacKinnon: Three power-play points Tuesday

    MacKinnon notched two power-play goal and a power-play assist in Tuesday's 8-4 win over the Devils.

    MacKinnon was productive with the man advantage, as the star playmaker contributed in three of the Avalanche's four power-play goals in this blowout win. The three-point performance also extended MacKinnon's current point streak to four games, a stretch where he's racked up three goals, four assists, 16 shots and four hits while averaging 22:09 of ice time.

  • Devils' Dawson Mercer: Pots goal against Colorado

    Mercer scored a goal in Tuesday's 8-4 loss to the Avalanche.

    Mercer scored during a barrage of four straight goals by the Devils in the second. He didn't light the lamp in his previous four outings, but he's up to nine points (four goals, five assists) through 10 games this season. He should continue to find opportunities to produce as a middle-six forward in a productive offense.

    Devils' Jack Hughes: Posts another multi-point game

    Hughes recorded a goal and an assist in Tuesday's 8-4 loss to the Avalanche.

    Hughes assisted on Dougie Hamilton's goal and added one of his own with a snap shot at the 14:12 mark of the second frame. Hughes has recorded four multi-point performances across New Jersey's last six games and continues to deliver excellent value as the team's primary playmaker and scoring threat. The 24-year-old star center is up to nine goals and 14 points through 10 games.

    Blackhawks' Ryan Donato: Scores in win over Ottawa

    Donato scored a goal, posted three shots on net and added six hits in Tuesday's 7-3 win over the Senators.

    Donato didn't reach the scoresheet in the 3-1 loss to the Kings on Sunday, but he got back to his scoring ways in Tuesday's blowout victory. Donato has amassed six goals on 17 shots -- good for an impressive, yet unsustainable, 35.3 shooting percentage -- in his last seven outings while adding two assists and 11 hits.

    Blackhawks' Colton Dach: Pots first goal of season

    Dach scored a goal in Tuesday's 7-3 win over the Senators. He also added two shots on goal, six hits and two blocked shots.

    Dach isn't known for his scoring contributions as a bottom-six forward, but he made his presence felt at the 6:47 mark of the first period. His first goal of the campaign opened the scoring in a blowout win for the Blackhawks. Dach has chipped in only three points through 10 games this season while adding 44 hits and six blocked shots.

    Blackhawks' Frank Nazar: Scores, assists Tuesday

    Nazar scored an even-strength goal and added a power-play assist in Tuesday's 7-3 win over the Senators.

    Nazar participated in the build-up of Connor Bedard's power-play goal in the first period, and he'd also find the back of the net himself late in the third frame. Nazar has four multi-point performances this campaign. The 21-year-old playmaker is enjoying a strong start to the season with 11 points (five goals, six assists) in 10 games.

  • Blackhawks' Connor Bedard: Nets first NHL hat trick

    Bedard scored a hat trick, with one goal coming on the power play, and delivered an even-strength assist in Tuesday's 7-3 win over the Senators.

    Bedard gave the Blackhawks a 3-0 lead with a wrister on the power play at the 17:53 mark of the first period and scored again at the 2:58 mark of the second frame. The star playmaker completed his first NHL hat trick at the 3:46 mark of the final frame with a snap shot. Bedard also assisted Ryan Donato in scoring the Blackhawks' sixth goal to round out his best individual performance of the campaign so far. The 20-year-old Bedard is up to 12 points (six goals, six helpers) through 10 games this season.

    Red Wings' Dylan Larkin: Adds another trio of points

    Larkin potted two goals, provided an assist and put three shots on net in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Blues.

    Larkin was held off the scoresheet for the first time this season in Saturday's 6-4 win over the Blues, but he got back on track in Tuesday's rematch. Overall, the 29-year-old center has eight goals, 16 points and 30 shots on net through 10 games this year. Larkin has a chance to reach the 80-point threshold for the first time in his 12th season.

  • T.J. Tynan C | COL

    Avalanche's T.J. Tynan: Three helpers in AHL win

    Tynan recorded three assists in AHL Colorado's 5-4 overtime win over Bakersfield on Tuesday.

    Tynan has continued to be an elite playmaker at the AHL level, opening this season with nine helpers in eight games. He has recorded at least 40 assists in eight of his 11 full AHL campaigns. The 33-year-old may get a call-up if the Avalanche get hit hard by injuries on the NHL roster, but he's unlikely to see anything more than fourth-line minutes with the big club.
