Evgeni Malkin C | PIT
Penguins' Evgeni Malkin: Two helpers against Columbus
Malkin pocketed two assists in Saturday's 5-4 shootout loss to the Blue Jackets.
The 39-year-old center extended his point streak to six games with the performance, but Malkin was also the goat on the night as he was the only skater to misfire during a three-round shootout, with his shot from the slot sailing high over Elvis Merzlikins' glove. Malkin has had a dazzling start to his 20th NHL campaign, racking up two goals and 14 points in nine contests, including one goal and four assists on the power play.

Sam Morton C | CGY
Flames' Sam Morton: Racks up three points for Wranglers
Morton scored twice on three shots and added an assist in AHL Calgary's 4-3 win over Coachella Valley on Saturday.
Morton needed a big game, as he had just one assist in the Wranglers' first five contests of the year. With four points in six games, he's unlikely to be near the top of the list of call-ups for the Flames. The 26-year-old is more likely to spend most or all of 2025-26 in the minors, though he made his NHL debut -- and scored his first goal -- with the Flames at the end of last season.

Dalibor Dvorsky RW | STL
Blues' Dalibor Dvorsky: Three-point effort in loss
Dvorsky scored a goal on three shots and added two assists Saturday in AHL Springfield's 6-3 loss to Hartford.
This might have been a great time for Dvorsky to have a big game, as Robert Thomas (upper body) was hurt in the Blues' game Saturday. Prior to Saturday, Dvorsky had just two points in his first five outings of the season, so he's yet to settle into a rhythm to begin his second AHL campaign. The 20-year-old would command a middle-six role and likely some power-play time should he get called up to the NHL.

Braeden Cootes C | VAN
Canucks' Braeden Cootes: Three-point effort in WHL win
Cootes scored two goals and added an assist in WHL Seattle's 4-3 win over Prince George on Saturday.
Cootes' stay in the NHL with the Canucks lasted three games before he went back to junior. He's taken very little time to get back on track with the Thunderbirds, putting up five points in four games since returning to the WHL. The 15th overall pick in 2025 can use his brief NHL experience this year as a learning opportunity, but he needs time to continue growing his game at a lower level.

Luca Romano C | NYI
Islanders' Luca Romano: Three-point effort in loss
Romano scored a goal on two shots and added two assists in OHL Kitchener's 4-3 loss to Barrie on Saturday.
Romano factored in on every goal for Kitchener, but it wasn't enough. The 18-year-old Islanders prospect has four goals and five assists over 11 OHL outings this season. His offense spiked from 22 points in 56 games in 2023-24 to 25 goals and 51 points in 67 outings last season, which was enough for him to go 74th overall in the 2025 NHL Entry Draft. He's a speedy skater, and while the offense isn't anywhere near that of a top prospect, his two-way game is strong, giving him third-line potential as an NHLer eventually.

Nick Cousins C | OTT
Senators' Nick Cousins: Nets first goal of season
Cousins scored a goal, added two PIM, logged two hits and blocked two shots in Saturday's 7-1 win over the Capitals.
Cousins was listed on the top line at even strength, but he saw just 14:22 of ice time. The 32-year-old won't be confused with a genuine top-line player -- he's a bottom-six agitator who plays a heavy game. He's picked up two points, seven shots on net, 18 hits and six PIM through nine appearances this season.

Emmitt Finnie C | DET
Red Wings' Emmitt Finnie: Contributes goal in comeback win
Finnie scored a goal on two shots, added two hits and blocked two shots in Saturday's 6-4 win over the Blues.
Finnie is now on a four-game point streak (four goals, two assists). He got an unassisted goal Saturday, and it's impressive the 20-year-old rookie was able to get some offense going in a game that saw Dylan Larkin held off the scoresheet. Finnie is up to four goals, eight points, 17 shots, 25 hits and a plus-7 rating through nine contests. He probably won't keep up that pace all season, but fantasy managers should take notice, even in standard formats.

Vinnie Hinostroza C | FLA
Wild's Vinnie Hinostroza: Registers assist Saturday
Hinostroza logged a power-play assist in Saturday's 6-2 loss to the Mammoth.
Hinostroza's helper was his first point in nine outings this season. The long-term absence of Mats Zuccarello (lower body) has allowed Hinostroza to stay in the lineup early in the season. The 31-year-old Hinostroza hasn't been all that impressive, adding just seven shots on net, 13 hits and a minus-6 rating. Fantasy managers can find more productive wingers on the waiver wire.

Mikey Eyssimont C | BOS
Bruins' Michael Eyssimont: Tallies in win
Eyssimont scored a goal in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Avalanche.
Eyssimont has a goal and an assist over the last two games. He's emerged as a helpful bottom-six forward for the Bruins, and he's even getting some power-play time now after starting the year without a role in that situation. The 29-year-old has two goals, three assists, 19 shots on net, six blocked shots, five hits and a minus-5 rating through 10 appearances. He's never had more than 25 points in a season, so don't expect Eyssimont to continue chipping in a point every other game.

Morgan Geekie C | BOS
Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Scores again Saturday
Geekie scored a goal on six shots in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Avalanche.
Geekie's tally at 19:55 of the second period was ultimately enough to send the Avalanche to their first regulation loss this season. The 27-year-old Geekie has been exceptional this week with four goals over his last three games. On the year, he's already at six goals, two assists, 19 shots on net, 20 hits and a minus-2 rating through 10 appearances. He's shooting 31.6 percent, which is unsustainable, but he shot 22.0 percent in a 33-goal effort over 77 regular-season outings last year. Regression will come, but Geekie will handle a top-line role until the slump hits.
