  • Jordan Kyrou C | STL

Blues' Jordan Kyrou: Nets PP goal Saturday

Kyrou scored a power-play goal in Saturday's 6-4 loss to the Red Wings.

Kyrou broke the deadlock for the Blues at the 7:43 mark of the first period on the power play. Kyrou has two goals this season, but the 27-year-old continues to find ways to produce. This first-period goal extended Kyrou's point streak to six games, a stretch where he's notched two goals and four assists. Plus, each of his last three points has come with the man advantage.

  • Canucks' Elias Pettersson: Breaks out with three points

Pettersson scored a goal on four shots, added two assists, blocked two shots and went plus-2 in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Canadiens.

This was Pettersson's first multi-point effort of the season. The 26-year-old is heating up with five points over his last four contests, but it would be a positive to see him sustain this level of production over a longer stretch. Overall, he's at two goals, five assists, 15 shots on net, 19 blocked shots, 11 hits and a plus-3 rating across nine appearances.

  • Andrew Copp C | DET

Red Wings' Andrew Copp: Gets two assists Saturday

Copp delivered two assists, including one on the power play, in Saturday's 6-4 win over the Blues.

Copp didn't find the back of the net in this goalfest, but he came through with two helpers in the second period to set up Detroit's first and third goals. Copp has four points in nine games this season, and as a bottom-six forward who doesn't see time on the power play, he's not expected to carry much fantasy upside in most formats -- even if he has the occasional standout performance like in this win.

  • Nick Suzuki C | MON

Canadiens' Nick Suzuki: Pots power-play tally

Suzuki scored a power-play goal on two shots in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Canucks.

After being held off the scoresheet in the Canadiens' season opener, Suzuki has contributed at least a point in nine straight games. The 26-year-old is up to two goals, 11 assists, 23 shots on net and a plus-7 rating through 10 appearances. As the team's top-line center and arguably the most important forward, big scoring totals aren't unusual for Suzuki. He had 30 goals and a career-best 89 points in the 2024-25 regular season and should be able to sustain at least a point-per-game pace this year as well.

  • Penguins' Rickard Rakell: Sustains injury late Saturday

Rakell (undisclosed) didn't finish Saturday's game versus the Blue Jackets, and there was no update on his status after the contest, Seth Rorabaugh of Tribune-Review Sports reports.

Rakell left the game in the third period, which could explain the lack of an update. The 32-year-old is a key player for the Penguins and has racked up eight points through nine outings. The Penguins' next game is Monday at home versus the Blues before they head out on a four-game road trip.

  • John Tavares C | TOR

Maple Leafs' John Tavares: Keeps climbing record books

Tavares scored the game winner in a 4-3 overtime victory over the Sabres on Saturday. He also added an assist.

The points extended his streak to four games and seven points (four goals, three assists). Tavares took a stretch pass from Matthew Knies, broke in on net and fired a shot over Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen's blocker from the slot. It was Tavares' 499th career goal and his 19th overtime tally, which ties him with Leon Draisaitl and Jaromir Jagr for fourth in NHL history. Only Alex Ovechkin (27), Sidney Crosby (24) and Brad Marchand (21) have more extra-session tallies. Tavares needs one point to move into sole possession of 63rd on the all-time list. He's currently tied with Joe Nieuwendyk and Mike Bossy (1,126 points).

  • Ducks' Ryan Poehling: Three-game, three-point streak

Poehling scored a goal in a 4-3 loss to Tampa Bay on Saturday.

It was his first goal of the season. Poehling finished a 2-on-1 in the third with a tap-in to cut Anaheim's deficit to 3-2. The native of Lakeville, Minnesota, is on a modest three-game, three-point streak right now. Still, Poehling's fantasy value has its limits as a fourth-line pivot.

  • Mammoth's Nick Schmaltz: Pots two goals in big win

Schmaltz scored two goals, one the game-winner, on a team-high six shots on net with a plus-3 rating in Saturday's 6-2 victory over the Wild.

The veteran winger has gotten onto the scoresheet in six straight games as part of a rampaging Mammoth offense, churning out seven goals and 13 points during that stretch. Schmaltz has reached the 20-goal plateau in four consecutive seasons and topped 60 points in the last two. He could be headed for a career-best campaign if the young talent around him continues to blossom.

  • Logan Cooley C | UTA

Mammoth's Logan Cooley: Stays hot with three-point effort

Cooley scored two goals, one on the power play, and added an even-strength assist in Saturday's 6-2 win over the Wild.

He added five shots on net, two blocked shots and a plus-2 rating to his ledger. Cooley has erupted for five goals and seven points over the last two contests. Through nine games on the season, the 21-year-old has amassed seven goals and 10 points.

  • Lightning's Brayden Point: Modest two-game point streak

Point picked up an assist in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Ducks.

Point has a modest two-game, two-assist scoring streak on the go. He registered five shots in Saturday's win, which is one more than he put up in his previous three outings combined. Overall, Point has two goals and five assists in eight appearances this season.
