Dylan Strome C | WAS
Capitals' Dylan Strome: Picks up two assists
Strome notched two assists, two shots on goal, two hits, two penalty minutes and a blocked shot during his 19:42 of ice time in Sunday's 4-3 loss to the Canucks.
Strome has been on a monster hot streak over the past three games, picking up multiple points in each contest for a total of eight (two goals, six assists). That accounts for all of the 28-year-old's point production this season after he started the season on a three-game point drought. Strome's back on track as he looks to build off of a career-high 82 points in the 2024-25 regular season.

Elias Pettersson C | VAN
Canucks' Elias Pettersson: Pots first goal
Pettersson scored a goal on two shots and blocked three shots during 18:37 of ice time in Sunday's 4-3 win over the Capitals.
Pettersson is finally on the goal-scoring board, getting the Canucks started right under a minute into the game. The 26-year-old now has three points on the season in six games, more in line with the top-line pivot's underwhelming 45-point season from last year than the 89-point season he had two years ago. What version of Pettersson will show up the rest of the year remains to be seen, but it certainly was a good sign to see him score Sunday.

Teddy Blueger C | VAN
Canucks' Teddy Blueger: Being evaluated
Blueger (undisclosed) sustained an injury late in Sunday's 4-3 win over Washington, according to Dan Murphy of Sportsnet.
Blueger's status for Tuesday's game against Pittsburgh is unclear. Vancouver played without Brock Boeser (personal) against the Capitals on Sunday, while Filip Chytil (upper body) and Jonathan Lekkerimaki (undisclosed) exited the team's win early. The Canucks may need to recall some reinforcements from AHL Abbotsford.

Noah Ostlund C | BUF
Sabres' Noah Ostlund: Recalled from AHL
Ostlund was recalled by the Sabres from AHL Rochester, the team announced Sunday.
With a plethora of forwards on injured reserve, Ostlund is among the reinforcements for the Sabres from the AHL. The 21-year-old has appeared in just eight NHL games to this point, all coming last season, and is still seeking his first NHL point. He is lighting up the AHL in the early going this season, registering five points in four games.

Filip Chytil C | VAN
Canucks' Filip Chytil: Hurt in Sunday's game
Chytil (upper body) won't return to Sunday's game against Washington.
Chytil sustained the injury in the first period after being hit hard by Tom Wilson. The 26-year-old Chytil has a history of concussions, which could lead to the Canucks being cautious with his evaluation process. He went into Sunday's matchup with three goals in five outings.

Pius Suter C | STL
Blues' Pius Suter: Tucks empty-netter
Suter scored an empty-net goal on two shots and went plus-2 in Saturday's 3-1 win over the Stars.
Suter has settled in well with the Blues, earning three points, including two goals, over his first five games. He's added 11 shots on net, five hits and a plus-3 rating while seeing time in a second-line role and on the power play. Suter doesn't have a high ceiling for fantasy, but he put up 25 goals and 46 points in 81 regular-season contests with the Canucks last year and may approach similar numbers in 2025-26.

Jason Dickinson C | EDM
Blackhawks' Jason Dickinson: Won't suit up Sunday
Dickinson (undisclosed) won't play Sunday against the Ducks, Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
With the Blackhawks not playing again until Thursday after Sunday's matchup with the Ducks, the team will hold Dickinson out to allow him to rest the injury that's been bothering him. The 30-year-old has two points, seven shots on goal, four hits and three blocked shots through the five games he's appeared in this season.

Jordan Kyrou C | STL
Blues' Jordan Kyrou: Pots first goal of season
Kyrou scored a goal and took four shots in Saturday's 3-1 win over the Stars.
Kyrou finally opened his scoring tally with a goal in the first period, a wrister only 2:27 into the contest, and he also recorded a season-high four shots. The 27-year-old winger has cracked the scoresheet in three games in a row, posting one goal and two assists in that span.
-
Nick Suzuki C | MON
Canadiens' Nick Suzuki: Nets first goal of season
Suzuki scored a power-play goal and took two shots in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Rangers.
Suzuki finally opened his goal-scoring account this season, giving the Canadiens a transitory 2-0 lead in the early stages of the first period with a snap shot on the power play, but he also kept his impressive point streak alive. He's cracked the scoresheet in each of the Canadiens' last five games, tallying one goal, seven assists, a plus-7 rating, 10 shots on goal, two hits and two blocked shots over that productive stretch.

J.T. Miller C | NYR
Rangers' J.T. Miller: Pots goal vs. Montreal
Miller recorded one goal on four shots in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Canadiens.
Miller snapped his three-game point drought with a goal only 34 seconds into the third period. This was his second goal of the season, and the 32-year-old is one of several forwards who have endured an underwhelming start to the campaign for the Rangers. Through seven contests, Miller has two goals and two assists, with only one of those four points coming on the power play.
