Brad Lambert C | WPG
Jets' Brad Lambert: Dropped to minors
Lambert was loaned to AHL Manitoba on Sunday.
Winnipeg recalled Kale Clague from the minors in a corresponding move after Haydn Fleury (kneecap) sustained an injury in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Kings. Lambert was a healthy scratch in the Jets' first two games of the 2025-26 campaign, and he should receive playing time with the team's top minor-league affiliate following his demotion.

Alexei Protas C | WAS
Capitals' Aliaksei Protas: Posts trio of points
Protas scored two goals and added an assist in Saturday's 4-2 win against the Islanders.
Protas opened the scoring late in the first period, then helped solidify the lead with a secondary assist on Ryan Leonard's goal before scoring an unassisted goal for Protas' second of the night. Across his first two games of the new campaign, Protas has four points and eight shots on goal. The 24-year-old is picking up where he left off in a top-six role after breaking out with a 30-goal, 66-point campaign in 2024-25 over 76 regular-season games. Considering his category coverage, ice time and power-play usage, he should be rostered in almost all fantasy formats.

Anton Lundell C | FLA
Panthers' Anton Lundell: Big night on power play
Lundell delivered a goal and an assist, both on the power play, in Saturday's 6-2 romp over the Senators.
The 24-year-old center potted Florida's fourth goal late in the second period before setting up Mackie Samoskevich for the team's fifth early in the third. Lundell has taken on a bigger role due to Aleksander Barkov (knee) likely being done for the season, and he's responded with two goals and three points in the Panthers' first three games, all with the man advantage.

Shane Pinto C | OTT
Senators' Shane Pinto: Lights lamp twice in loss
Pinto scored two goals in Saturday's 6-2 loss to the Panthers.
He was the only Senator to solve Sergei Bobrovsky, although both goals were somewhat fluky -- Bobrovsky got caught out of position after misplaying the puck behind the net late in the first period, and Pinto's third-period tally came on a centering attempt that deflected in off Aaron Ekblad. Nonetheless, Pinto has tied an Ottawa franchise record with five points in the first two games of the season, including four goals -- an impressive haul for the 24-year-old, who set new career highs with 21 goals and 37 points over 70 regular-season games in 2024-25.

Teuvo Teravainen C | CHI
Blackhawks' Teuvo Teravainen: Collects two assists in loss
Teravainen pocketed two assists, one on the power play, in Saturday's 3-2 loss to the Canadiens.
All of Chicago's scoring came in the first half of the second period, with the veteran winger helping to set up tallies by Sam Rinzel and Connor Bedard. Teravainen's off to a quick start with a goal and four points through three games, and improvement from the younger players around him in the lineup could lead to him topping the 15 goals and 58 points he produced in 2024-25 during his first campaign with Chicago.
-
Frank Nazar C | CHI
Blackhawks' Frank Nazar: Two helpers against Habs
Nazar picked up two assists, one on the power play, in Saturday's 3-2 loss to the Canadiens.
The 21-year-old has come flying out of the gates on the 2025-26 season with five points (one goal, four assists) during a three-game scoring streak. Nazar's seeing a consistent shift on Chicago's top power-play unit as well, although Saturday's PP point was his first of the year. After producing 12 goals and 26 points in 53 games last season, Nazar appears headed for a breakout in his first full NHL campaign.

Zack Bolduc C | MON
Canadiens' Zachary Bolduc: Goal streak at three games
Bolduc scored a goal and added an assist, both on the power play, in Saturday's 3-2 win over Chicago.
The 22-year-old continued a sizzling start to his tenure with the Habs, banging home a rebound early in the second period for his third goal of the season. Bolduc has found the back of the net in three straight games with four points in total, and he appears to have gotten comfortable very quickly on the top power-play unit. Bolduc won't maintain 30 percent shooting of course, but he won't need that kind of efficiency to deliver career-best numbers given the increased opportunities he's seeing with Montreal.
-
Nick Suzuki C | MON
Canadiens' Nick Suzuki: Fuels offense with three helpers
Suzuki notched three assists, two on the power play, in Saturday's 3-2 win over Chicago.
The two teams combined for four goals in less than seven minutes during a wild second period, with Suzuki having a hand in both of the Canadiens' tallies during that stretch, before he got the puck to Kaiden Guhle for the game-winner with just 15 seconds left in regulation. Suzuki is still looking for his first goal of 2025-26, but the 26-year-old center has piled up five assists in the last two contests as he looks to show that his career-best 2024-25 season (89 points) was no fluke.
-
Seth Jarvis C | CAR
Hurricanes' Seth Jarvis: Rips home winner in OT
Jarvis scored the overtime winner in Saturday's 4-3 victory over the Flyers.
With just 17 seconds left on the clock, Jarvis rocketed a one-timer past Samuel Ersson from the faceoff dot, giving the 23-year-old winger the GWG in two straight contests to begin the season. Jarvis has three tallies in total, and after reaching the 30-goal plateau in each of the prior two campaigns, the 13th overall pick in the 2020 Draft could be ready to take his production to another level.

Gage Goncalves C | TB
Lightning's Gage Goncalves: Draws helper in loss
Goncalves notched an assist in Saturday's 5-3 loss to the Devils.
Goncalves has added five hits and a blocked shot over two games this season. While he's listed on the second line and second power-play unit, the reality is the Lightning lean heavily on their five best forwards for offense with mixed results for the depth players so far. Goncalves is in the latter group and will likely continue to see limited minutes, though that may not hurt his production much. He put up 20 points in 60 regular-season outings despite averaging just 12:48 of ice time last year, and he should be good for some natural scoring growth with more experience in his second campaign.
