He has been the league's top power-play sniper in 2025-26, netting 26 of his 43 tallies with the man advantage. The 22-year-old forward has established career-best marks in both goals (43) and assists (39) this season.

The injury Kadri sustained during Tuesday's game against St. Louis is to his finger, Evan Rawal of the Denver Gazette reports Wednesday.

There isn't a firm timetable for Kadri's return yet, but he is likely to miss the next few games. Colorado has no reason to rush him back -- the Avalanche have already secured the best record in the Western Conference, so their primary focus is on getting ready for the playoffs. Joel Kiviranta will likely draw into the lineup Thursday versus Calgary as a result of Kadri's injury.

Larkin tallied a power-play goal, registered an assist, fired five shots on net and put out four hits in Tuesday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Blue Jackets.

He also recorded an assist Tuesday, which helped him secure his fifth consecutive 30-30 season. Since returning from a leg injury, he has six points and 28 shots on net over his last eight games. Larkin should continue to post a high shot volume across the remainder of the regular season as the Red Wings make a push for the 2025-26 postseason.

Fantilli tallied a goal, put three shots on net and dished out four hits in Tuesday's 4-3 shootout win over Detroit.

Fantilli delivered in the clutch Tuesday, scoring the game-tying goal with just 17 seconds remaining in regulation to send the game to overtime. The 21-year-old center has been a steady source of offense for the Blue Jackets, racking up 11 goals and 26 points over his last 28 games. Overall, he has 23 goals, 56 points, 205 shots on net, 134 hits and 48 blocked shots through 78 games this season. He holds strong fantasy value in most league formats while the Blue Jackets make one last push for a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.

Haymes was reassigned to AHL Toronto on Wednesday.

Haymes' return to the minors could mean that there aren't any lingering injury concerns among the team's forward group ahead of Wednesday's clash with Washington. In his 63 minor-league games this season, the 22-year-old center has notched 17 goals and 15 helpers. While he is yet to make his NHL debut, Haymes could be in the mix for a roster spot ahead of the 2026-27 campaign.

Kunin notched an assist and two hits in Tuesday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Canadiens.

Kunin was back in the lineup Tuesday after being a scratch Sunday versus the Penguins. The 28-year-old could exit again once Matthew Tkachuk (personal) rejoins the team. Kunin snapped a 10-game point drought and is now at six points, 43 shots on net, 110 hits, 44 blocked shots, 45 PIM and a minus-8 rating over 58 appearances this season.

O'Reilly logged two assists and two shots on goal in Tuesday's 5-0 win over the Ducks.

O'Reilly is on a four-game point streak (one goal, five assists) to begin April. The veteran center had a hand in goals by Filip Forsberg (on the power play) and Brady Skjei (shorthanded) in this contest. O'Reilly is up to 72 points, including 19 on the power play and three while shorthanded, through 77 appearances this season. He's added 147 shots on net, 62 blocked shots and a plus-9 rating while most often playing on the top line.

Svechkov scored a goal on two shots in Tuesday's 5-0 win over the Ducks.

Svechkov ended an 11-game goal drought late in the third period. He had three helpers and five shots on net in that span. The 23-year-old has emerged as a solid defensive center while being limited to fourth-line usage lately. Svechkov is at four goals, 17 points, 65 shots on net, 57 hits, 27 blocked shots, 20 PIM and a minus-4 rating over 66 appearances. He's matched his point total from last year, though it took him just 52 outings to reach that mark in 2024-25.

Sasson scored a goal in Tuesday's 2-1 loss to the Golden Knights.

Sasson has two goals and two assists over his last four contests. The 25-year-old's grip on a spot in the lineup was slipping in late March, but his recent play has restored his status as an everyday player. Sasson is now at 13 goals, 19 points, 59 shots on net, 36 blocked shots, 29 hits, 26 PIM and a minus-11 rating over 64 appearances on the year.

Frederic posted an assist and two shots on goal in Tuesday's 6-5 overtime loss to the Mammoth.

The helper was Frederic's first point in three games since he returned from missing five contests due to an undisclosed injury. The 28-year-old forward continues to occupy a bottom-six role, where he'll provide toughness and the occasional contribution on offense. He has seven points, 70 shots on net, 178 hits, 58 PIM and a minus-16 rating over 70 appearances this season.
