Sam Steel C | DAL
Stars' Sam Steel: Garners helper Wednesday
Steel recorded an assist, two hits, two blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Wednesday's 6-3 win over the Oilers in Game 1.
Steel took a shot that got redirected in by Tyler Seguin late in the third period to stretch the Stars' lead to 5-3. After a quiet first round, Steel had four points over six games in the second round versus the Jets. He's now at one goal, six assists, seven shots on net, 22 hits, 10 blocked shots, 14 PIM and a plus-1 rating over 14 playoff contests. His versatility and defensive work will keep him in the lineup, even if he's stuck in a bottom-six role most of the time.

Matt Duchene C | DAL
Stars' Matt Duchene: Nets go-ahead goal
Duchene scored a power-play goal and went minus-2 in Wednesday's 6-3 win over the Oilers in Game 1.
The third-period tally ended a 17-game goal drought for Duchene, dating back to April 10. His goal Wednesday also stood as the game-winner. The center has earned all six of his points this postseason on the power play while adding 18 shots on net, 11 hits, 12 blocked shots and a minus-11 rating over 14 appearances. Duchene was a point-per-game player in the regular season, so the Stars will want Wednesday's effort to spark his offense in the rest of the Western Conference Finals.

Mikael Granlund C | ANA
Stars' Mikael Granlund: Earns two points in win
Granlund scored a goal on four shots, added an assist, logged six hits and blocked three shots in Wednesday's 6-3 win over the Oilers in Game 1.
Granlund and Miro Heiskanen set up each other's power-play goals early in the third period to erase a 3-1 Oilers lead. This was Granlund's third multi-point effort over the last five contests. The 33-year-old forward is up to five goals, nine points (five on the power play), 24 shots on net, 29 hits, 13 blocked shots and a plus-2 rating through 14 playoff outings. He's seeing top-six minutes and time on the second power-play unit, so Granlund should be a decent source of depth scoring.

Tyler Seguin C | DAL
Stars' Tyler Seguin: Three points in Game 1 win
Seguin scored twice on five shots, added a power-play assist and went plus-2 in Wednesday's 6-3 win over the Oilers in Game 1.
Seguin's first goal came on a breakaway after an Edmonton turnover. He added two more points, including an insurance tally, in the Stars' five-goal third period. The Western Conference Finals are already off to a better start for Seguin than the second round -- he was limited to just one assist over six games versus the Jets. Overall, he's earned four goals, four assists, 22 shots on net, 13 hits and an even plus-minus rating through 14 playoff contests.

Connor Brown RW | NJ
Oilers' Connor Brown: Expected to play Wednesday
Brown (undisclosed) took warmups and is expected to play in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals versus the Stars on Wednesday, Daniel Nugent-Bowman of The Athletic reports.
Brown was labeled a game-time decision earlier Wednesday after missing some practices in the Oilers' downtime between the second round and the Western Conference Finals. He should slot into his usual middle-six role. He has seven points through 11 playoff games so far.

Connor Brown RW | NJ
Oilers' Connor Brown: Considered game-time decision
Brown is considered a game-time decision for Wednesday's Game 1 against the Stars due to an undisclosed injury, Daniel Nugent-Bowman of The Athletic reports.
Brown's activity has been limited in recent days, as he didn't participate in full practices Saturday or Monday. He was present for Wednesday's morning skate but didn't ultimately skate. Head coach Kris Knoblauch labeled Brown's absence from Saturday's practice as a maintenance day. While Knoblauch said Saturday that he didn't expect Brown to miss time, the 31-year-old's status to begin the Western Conference Finals is up in the air. Brown was productive over the first two rounds of the playoffs, logging four goals, three assists, 10 hits, six blocked shots and two PIM while averaging 15:18 of ice time.

Seth Jarvis C | CAR
Hurricanes' Seth Jarvis: Two helpers in Tuesday's loss
Jarvis picked up two assists Tuesday, one on the power play, in the Hurricanes' 5-2 loss to the Panthers in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals.
The 23-year-old helped set up tallies by Sebastian Aho in the first period and Jackson Blake in the third, but it wasn't enough as Carolina stumbled as a team to begin the series. Jarvis has gotten onto the scoresheet in five straight games, and through 11 playoff contests he's racked up four goals and 12 points, including one goal and six assists with the man advantage.

Carter Verhaeghe C | FLA
Panthers' Carter Verhaeghe: Two-point effort in Tuesday's win
Verhaeghe delivered a goal and an assist Tuesday, both on the power play, in the Panthers' 5-2 win over the Hurricanes in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals.
The 29-year-old opened the scoring midway through the first period before helping to set up a Sam Bennett tally early in the third that put Florida up 4-1. Verhaeghe didn't get onto the scoresheet in the final three games of the Panthers' second-round series against the Maple Leafs, but he's had a productive postseason overall with five goals and 11 points in 14 contests, including three goals and five points with the man advantage.

Bo Horvat C | NYI
Islanders' Bo Horvat: Dealing with lower-body injury
Horvat sustained a lower-body injury at the 2025 IIHF World Championship and will return to Long Island for further evaluation, the Islanders announced Tuesday.
After recording four goals and eight points in six games with Team Canada, Horvat won't be available for the remainder of the tournament. The Islanders will know more about his timeline for recovery after he visits with team doctors. Horvat had 28 goals and 57 points across 81 appearances during the 2024-25 regular season.

Mark Jankowski C | CAR
Hurricanes' Mark Jankowski: Slated to sit out Game 1
Jankowski (undisclosed) is not expected to be available for Game 1 against Florida on Tuesday.
Jankowski will miss his fifth consecutive postseason contest after getting injured in Game 1 against the Capitals in the second round. Jack Roslovic will continue to fill a role at center while Jankowski is sidelined. The 30-year-old Jankowski's next chance to suit up will be Thursday in Game 2.
