  • Hockey Club's Nick Schmaltz: Sets career high in points

Schmaltz scored a power-play goal and fired three shots on net in Monday's 7-3 win over Nashville.

Schmaltz found the back of the net for the second of two goals scored by Utah in 70 seconds early on in the second period. With the twine finder, Schmaltz not only secured his fourth consecutive season with 20 goals or more, but also set a new career high of 62 points, passing his previous best of 61 from a season ago. In addition to his offensive success, he also has played every single game for Utah this season which has him on pace to make this season his most durable one yet. Overall, the 29-year-old winger has 20 goals, 42 assists and 158 shots on net in 81 appearances this season. Schmaltz should see some play in all fantasy formats next season as he's likely locked into a top-six role with Utah for the foreseeable future.

  • Hockey Club's Alex Kerfoot: Picks three apples Monday

Kerfoot provided three assists and blocked two shots in Monday's 7-3 win over the Predators.

Kerfoot began his outing with a helper on each of Utah's first two goals. He picked up a secondary helper on Michael Kesselring's goal before delivering the primary pass on Nick Bjugstad's tally minutes later. Kerfoot's final helper arrived on Kevin Stenlund's goal in the third period. Overall, the 30-year-old Kerfoot is up to 17 assists, 28 points and 101 shots on net in 80 appearances this season. While he has struggled at times this season, Kerfoot has played above a point-per-game pace down the stretch with eight points in his last seven games. Kerfoot's offensive impact is limited in a fourth-line role, but he is making the most of his ice time down the stretch.

  • Clayton Keller RW | UTA

Hockey Club's Clayton Keller: Shines with four points

Keller scored two goals, dished out two assists, put five shots on net and had two blocks in Monday's 7-3 win over the Predators.

Keller's four-point night began with two assists, including one on the power-play, in 70 seconds early on in the second period. He then lit the lamp twice himself in a six-minute span midway through the third period. Keller's performance Monday was his fourth game this season with four or more points. The 26-year-old winger also used Monday's game to secure a new career high in points as he passed his previous best of 86 points from the 2022-23 season. Overall, Utah's captain has 29 goals, 60 assists and 216 shots on net in 80 appearances this season. With 89 tallies, he is tied for 11th in points across the league with Sidney Crosby and Artemi Panarin. Keller has cemented himself as a premier talent in the NHL and will enter the 2025-26 season with great value in fantasy.

  • Kings' Quinton Byfield: Departs Monday's game

Byfield sustained an upper-body injury in Monday's 5-0 win over Edmonton.

Byfield was not on the bench for the start of the third period after he was driven downwards into the ice by Edmonton's Darnell Nurse in the middle frame. Nurse then proceeded to illegally check Byfield again after the two players fell to the ice, which forced the latter to leave the contest. Monday was the first game of a back-to-back for Los Angeles, and the Kings will likely utilize the utmost caution with Byfield ahead of the postseason. He should be considered questionable, at best, for Tuesday's road matchup against the Kraken.

  • Max Sasson C | VAN

Canucks' Max Sasson: Not available against San Jose

Sasson (undisclosed) will not suit up Monday versus the Sharks, per Brendan Batchelor of Sportsnet 650.

Sasson will miss his second straight game after head coach Rick Tocchet relayed Saturday that the 24-year-old forward is "banged up." Considering Vancouver has nothing to play for, Sasson will probably be held out of the team's last game of the season Wednesday versus the Golden Knights.

  • Penguins' Philip Tomasino: Secures helper in return

Tomasino put up a power-play assist in Sunday's 4-1 loss to the Bruins.

Tomasino returned from a three-game absence due to a concussion. He's on the fourth line at even strength for now, but a power-play role will give him a little more scoring potential. The 23-year-old has 22 points, 101 shots on net, 61 hits and a minus-12 rating over 60 appearances between the Penguins and the Predators in 2024-25, his highest point total in three years.

  • Penguins' Rickard Rakell: Matches career high in points

Rakell scored a power-play goal on five shots and added two hits in Sunday's 4-1 loss to the Bruins.

Rakell has three goals and four assists over his last eight contests. The 31-year-old has matched his career high of 69 points, which includes a personal-best 35 goals this season. He's earned 19 of his points with the man advantage while also being a big factor in non-scoring areas with 200 shots on net, 116 hits and 77 blocked shots over 80 outings.

  • Pavel Zacha C | BOS

Bruins' Pavel Zacha: Contributes two assists

Zacha recorded two assists in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Penguins.

Zacha ended a five-game point drought with the pair of helpers. The 28-year-old center has found little success on offense since being replaced by Elias Lindholm on the Bruins' top line, which has been the only trio contributing consistently in recent weeks. Zacha is now at 47 points, 129 shots on net, 63 hits and a minus-8 rating across 81 outings overall.

  • Max Domi C | TOR

Maple Leafs' Max Domi: Earns two helpers Sunday

Domi logged two assists and went plus-2 in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Hurricanes.

Domi set up third-period tallies by William Nylander and John Tavares to help the Maple Leafs solidify their lead. Over six contests in April, Domi has three assists, five shots on net, six hits, nine PIM, four blocked shots and a plus-3 rating. He's doing a little of everything in a third-line role, and with two games left in the regular season, he could be a popular streaming target in fantasy. He's earned 33 points with 93 shots and 76 hits across 72 outings overall.

  • Sharks' Logan Couture: Hanging up skates

Couture (groin) will announce his retirement at a press conference Tuesday, Chris Johnston of The Athletic reports.

Couture was hoping to get into the lineup during the 2024-25 campaign but was unable to recover from his groin injury to get back onto the ice. As a result, the 15-year NHL veteran will hang up his skates with 933 games under his belt, all with the Sharks, in which he racked up 323 goals and 378 assists. Despite playing in 116 postseason contests and tallying 101 points, Couture was never able to lift Lord Stanley's chalice, losing in the Finals against Pittsburgh back in 2016.
