For the season, the center has 15 goals, 42 points, 181 shots on net, 203 hits, 68 PIM and a minus-15 rating over 79 appearances between the Senators and the Sabres. He'll likely continue to feature on Ottawa's second line.

  • Penguins' Philip Tomasino: Game-time decision on Sunday

    Tomasino (concussion) will be a game-time decision versus Boston on Sunday, Seth Rorabaugh of Tribune-Review Sports reports.

    Tomasino was hurt versus Dallas on Apr. 5 and has sat out the last three games. The 23-year-old has 10 goals and 20 points in 48 games with the Penguins after picking up a solitary assist in 11 games with Nashville earlier in the season.

  • Lightning's Gage Goncalves: Two goals in loss Friday

    Goncalves scored two goals in Friday's 4-3 overtime loss to Detroit.

    Goncalves found the back of the net twice on two shots in Friday's defeat, scoring late in the second period and early in the third frame. He has netted four of his eight goals this season over his last eight outings. Goncalves has racked up 10 points, including seven goals, in 21 appearances since the beginning of March, a stretch in which he's also notched 20 shots, 33 hits and nine blocked shots.

  • Lightning's Anthony Cirelli: Scores, assists vs. Detroit

    Cirelli recorded a goal and an assist in Friday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Red Wings.

    Cirelli broke the deadlock in the early stages of the first period and set up one of Gage Goncalves' two goals. Cirelli has four points over his last six games (one goal, three assists). He has only 11 points in 21 appearances since the beginning of March, but it's been a productive campaign overall. He has 27 goals and 29 assists through 77 games in 2024-25, surpassing the 50-point mark for the first time in a season.

    Maple Leafs' David Kampf: Won't play Saturday

    Kampf (upper body) will sit out Saturday's matchup against Montreal, Evan Doerfler of The Hockey News reports.

    Kampf will miss his fourth straight game, and it's unclear if he will return before the beginning of the playoffs. He has generated five goals, 13 points, 45 shots on net and 50 hits through 59 appearances this season. Once healthy, Kampf will be in the mix for a fourth-line role.

    Kasper scored two goals in Friday's 4-3 overtime win over the Lightning.

    Kasper scored the equalizer with 7:01 left in the third period and got the game-winning midway through overtime with a wrister that went past Andrei Vasilevskiy. Kasper's two-goal performance brings him up to 18 goals and 34 points across 74 appearances in his first full year in the NHL.

    Greig recorded a goal and an assist in Friday's 5-2 win over the Canadiens.

    Shane Pinto grabbed most of the headlines after his two-goal performance, but Greig certainly made his presence felt as well. He set up Pinto's opener just 28 seconds into the game and later gave Ottawa a 3-0 lead in the early stages of the second frame. Greig is having a career-best season in 2024-25, as the 22-year-old is up to 33 points (13 goals, 20 assists) in 76 appearances. He's reached the 30-point plateau for the first time in his young NHL career.

The 24-year-old usually operates as a bottom-six forward and isn't known for being a reliable scoring weapon, but he's matched his best goal and point outputs of his career in 2024-25. He's up to 35 points (20 goals, 15 helpers) in 67 appearances this campaign, with three games left in the regular season.
