Suzuki continues to bolster his numbers in what has been a career-best season for him. The 25-year-old is up to 29 goals and 87 points across 79 appearances this campaign -- his previous personal best was 77 points in 2023-24.

  • Derek Ryan C | EDM

    Oilers' Derek Ryan: Recalled Saturday

Ryan was recalled from AHL Bakersfield on Saturday on an emergency basis, Daniel Nugent-Bowman of The Athletic reports.

Ryan will rejoin the big club ahead of Saturday's game in Winnipeg as the Oilers continue to deal with injuries up front. The 38-year-old Ryan has appeared in 35 NHL games this season, logging a goal and five points.

  • Penguins' Emil Bemstrom: Returned to minors

Bemstrom was reassigned to AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Saturday, according to Dave Molinari of Pittsburgh Hockey Now.

Bemstrom has one assist in 14 NHL games this season. He has been stellar at the AHL level, collecting 21 goals and 46 points in 45 games with the Baby Pens.

  • Sam Reinhart C | FLA

Panthers' Sam Reinhart: Sitting out Saturday

Reinhart (rest) will not be in the lineup versus Buffalo on Saturday, Colby Guy of The Palm Beach Post reports.

It has been another successful season for Reinhart. The 29-year-old has 37 goals and 42 assists, including 29 points on the power play, in 78 contests this season. He should return to the lineup against the Rangers on Monday. Jesse Puljujarvi will enter Saturday's lineup in Reinhart's place.

  • Panthers' Carter Verhaeghe: Back in action Saturday

Verhaeghe (rest) will play Saturday against the Sabres, Colby Guy of The Palm Beach Post reports.

After sitting out Thursday's contest, Verhaeghe will be back in the lineup Saturday in a home matchup with Buffalo. The 29-year-old forward has 18 goals and 49 points in 78 games this season.

  • Panthers' Aleksander Barkov: Day off Saturday

Barkov (rest) will not play Saturday against the Sabres, Colby Guy of The Palm Beach Post reports.

With the Panthers locked into a playoff spot, Barkov and Sam Reinhart (rest) will get another day off down the stretch. They didn't play last Sunday against Detroit, either. Barkov has 20 goals and 69 points through 66 games this season.

  • Wild's Frederick Gaudreau: Deals assist in loss

Gaudreau notched an assist and two hits in Friday's 4-2 loss to the Flames.

Gaudreau set up a Gustav Nyquist goal with 1:30 left in the third period. The 31-year-old Gaudreau has contributed assists in consecutive contests and has five points over his last eight outings. For the season, the center is up to 37 points, 107 shots on net, 43 hits, 61 blocked shots and a minus-2 rating over 80 appearances. He's been a consistent depth scorer in a middle-six role, though occupying a position as deep as center, he hasn't been all that noticeable in fantasy.

  • Yakov Trenin C | MIN

Wild's Yakov Trenin: Spoils shutout bid

Trenin scored a goal on two shots and added three hits in Friday's 4-2 loss to the Flames.

Trenin snapped a 23-game goal drought and a nine-game point drought with his tally at 15:39 of the third period to end Dustin Wolf's shutout bid. With the tally, Trenin reached the 15-point mark (seven goals, eight assists) for a fourth straight season. The 28-year-old has added 82 shots on net, 234 hits, 32 blocked shots, 37 PIM and a plus-1 rating over 74 appearances.

  • Gustav Nyquist RW | WPG

Wild's Gustav Nyquist: Finds twine in loss

Nyquist scored a goal on two shots in Friday's 4-2 loss to the Flames.

Nyquist has two goals and three assists over his last seven outings. The 35-year-old is down on the third line, but the decrease in ice time may be benefiting him, as he's also drawing easier matchups. Nyquist is up to 11 goals, 28 points, 102 shots on net, 44 hits and a minus-24 rating over 77 appearances between the Wild and Predators this season.

  • Flames' Martin Pospisil: Plucks apple in win

Pospisil managed an assist, two shots on goal, five hits and two blocked shots in Friday's 4-2 win over the Wild.

Pospisil ended his seven-game point drought when he set up a Yegor Sharangovich tally in the second period. The 25-year-old Pospisil has moved around the lineup a bit in 2024-25, but he's been on the fourth line lately due to his recent slump. The forward has 25 points in 79 appearances this season, one more point than he had in 63 outings a year ago. He's added 111 shots on net, 298 hits, 84 PIM and a plus-2 rating in his sophomore campaign.
