  • Stars' Mikael Granlund: Three-point effort in overtime loss

Granlund scored an empty-net goal on two shots and added two power-play assists in Tuesday's 6-5 overtime loss to the Canucks.

Scoring an empty-netter in a loss is a rarity, and even more so when considering the Canucks forced overtime with three goals in the final minute. That doesn't detract from Granlund's strong individual performance Tuesday, which gives him six goals and six assists over his last 12 outings. The 33-year-old Finn is up to 22 goals, 44 assists, 167 shots on net, 58 blocked shots, 54 hits and a plus-4 rating over 79 appearances between the Stars and Sharks. Granlund is just three points shy of matching his career-high 69 from the 2016-17 campaign with the Wild.

  • Canucks' Linus Karlsson: Nabs power-play helper

Karlsson produced a power-play assist and two shots on goal in Tuesday's 6-5 overtime win over the Stars.

Karlsson was on the ice late in a power play and helped out on a Victor Mancini tally before the man advantage expired. Two of Karlsson's last three points have come on the power play, but he's not seeing consistent playing time in that situation. Overall, the 25-year-old Swede has four points, 23 shots on net, 23 hits and a plus-3 rating over 19 appearances this season.

  • Panthers' Eetu Luostarinen: Nets winner

Luostarinen scored a goal Tuesday in a 3-1 win over Toronto.

He was in position at the top of the crease when Morgan Rielly's clearing attempt from behind the net went right to his stick. Luostarinen jammed it past Joseph Woll with a backhander. The goal stood as the winner. It was his first in 19 games. Luostarinen isn't known for his offense -- he has just nine goals, 23 points and 83 shots in 77 games this season. Let him languish on the wire.

  • Aatu Raty C | VAN

Canucks' Aatu Raty: One of each Tuesday

Raty scored a goal on two shots, dished a power-play assist and logged five hits in Tuesday's 6-5 overtime win over the Stars.

Raty has five goals and a helper over his last seven contests. The 22-year-old is still filling a bottom-six role, but that productivity could be enough to earn him trust with more minutes late in the campaign. He's now at 10 points, 28 shots on net, 72 hits and a minus-2 rating across 29 appearances this season.

  • Pius Suter C | STL

Canucks' Pius Suter: Saves game with two late goals

Suter scored twice on five shots, added two hits and logged two PIM in Tuesday's 6-5 overtime win over the Stars.

Suter's pair of goals were 23 seconds apart in the third period, helping the Canucks overcome a three-goal deficit. The 28-year-old has four goals and seven assists over his last eight contests. He's up to 24 goals, 45 points, 125 shots on net, 59 hits and a plus-4 rating over 77 appearances in a career year. Both of Elias Pettersson (upper body) and Filip Chytil (concussion) are questionable to return this season, so Suter could finish the year as the Canucks' top-line center.

  • John Tavares C | TOR

Maple Leafs' John Tavares: Gets team's only goal in loss

Tavares scored a goal Tuesday in a 3-1 loss to Florida.

Tavares snagged a loose puck in the neutral zone and drove to the top of the left circle before ripping a wrist shot past Sergei Bobrovsky early in the second. It tied the score 1-1. Tavares has 37 goals, 71 points and 185 shots in 70 games this season. That's the second-highest goal total he's put up in his time in Toronto. He has 10 goals in his last eight games, and the Leafs have five games remaining. Tavares has every opportunity to hit 40 goals this season.

  • Ross Colton C | COL

Avalanche's Ross Colton: Set to miss Tuesday's game

Colton (undisclosed) is not on the ice for warmups, indicating he won't play Tuesday versus the Golden Knights, Brennan Vogt of Hockey Mountain High reports.

Colton joins a significant list of injuries at forward for the Avalanche, which includes Martin Necas (upper body) and Jonathan Drouin (lower body). Chris Wagner will draw into the lineup to replace Colton. The Avalanche's next game is Thursday versus the Canucks.

  • Jack Eichel C | LV

Golden Knights' Jack Eichel: Sitting out Tuesday

Eichel (upper body) won't play Tuesday versus the Avalanche.

Eichel will be out for a big Western Conference matchup due to this injury. The severity of the issue is unknown, but with the Golden Knights having already clinched their playoff spot, there's no reason to risk further injury to Eichel. His next chance to play is Thursday versus the Kraken.

  • Hockey Club's Alex Kerfoot: Unavailable Tuesday

Kerfoot (illness) won't play Tuesday versus the Kraken.

Kerfoot will miss his first game of the season. The 30-year-old had four points over his previous four contests prior to this absence. Matias Maccelli or Kailer Yamamoto will be in the lineup to cover Kerfoot's absence.

  • Klim Kostin C | SJ

Sharks' Klim Kostin: Playing time still sparse

Kostin was scratched for the eighth time in nine games in Monday's 3-2 loss to the Flames.

The Sharks pivoted to prospect evaluation in mid-March, and that has left Kostin out of the lineup regularly. He could get into some games late in the campaign, but he'll likely be limited to bottom-six minutes. The winger has just seven points with 28 shots on net, 27 PIM and 111 hits over 35 appearances this season. He's set for restricted free agency this summer, but it's possible the Sharks opt not to give him a qualifying offer, which would put him in unrestricted free agency.
