  • Canucks' Elias Pettersson: Could miss remainder of season

Pettersson (upper body) is unlikely to return before the end of the regular season but hasn't given up hope of getting back into the lineup, according to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman on Saturday.

Pettersson has missed the last seven games, and he didn't accompany the Canucks on the team's two-game road trip, per Iain MacIntyre of Sportsnet on Tuesday. The 26-year-old Pettersson could conclude the 2024-25 regular season with 15 goals, 45 points, 109 shots on net and 77 hits across 64 appearances.

  • Martin Necas C | COL

Avalanche's Martin Necas: Not playing Tuesday

Necas (upper body) will remain sidelined Tuesday versus the Golden Knights, Evan Rawal of the Denver Gazette reports.

Necas will miss his third game in a row Tuesday, and while he isn't expected to be sidelined long term, it's not yet clear if he'll be available for Thursday's meeting with the Canucks. The star winger has generated 27 goals and 81 points over 76 appearances between Carolina and Colorado in 2024-25. Jonathan Drouin (lower body) also will not suit up Tuesday, so Jimmy Vesey and Ross Colton might continue to round out the top six against Vegas.

  • Tyler Seguin C | DAL

Stars' Tyler Seguin: Getting closer to return

Seguin (hip) is "really close" to playing, according to head coach Pete DeBoer, but hasn't been fully cleared for contact, Brien Rea of FanDuel Sports Network Southwest reports Tuesday.

Seguin has just five games remaining in the regular season if he wants to get in a tune-up or two ahead of the playoffs. The veteran forward will no doubt have some rust to shake off after being sidelined for the Stars' last 54 games dating back to Dec. 1 versus the Jets. At this point, Seguin may be hard-pressed to serve in anything more than a bottom-six role once given the all-clear and may have to play limited minutes at first, given his extended absence.

  • Ducks' Mason McTavish: Continues productive stretch

McTavish scored a goal and took two shots on goal in Monday's 3-2 win over the Oilers.

McTavish is enjoying a career-best season with 21 goals and 50 points in 71 appearances, and the 22-year-old playmaker has quietly surpassed the 40-point mark in each of his three full seasons in the league after making his debut in 2021-22. McTavish is ending the season on a tear with 12 points (three goals, nine helpers) across his last 11 contests.

  • Flames' Jonathan Huberdeau: Tallies power-play goal

Huberdeau scored a power-play goal in Monday's 3-2 win over the Sharks.

Huberdeau's power-play tally gave the Flames their first lead of the game with less than nine minutes left in the contest. The twine finder was his first since March 22 and his first goal with the man advantage since March 14 against Colorado. Overall, the 31-year-old winger has 28 goals, 59 points and 149 shots on net in 77 games this season. Huberdeau has been efficient lately with 13 points across his last 14 games. He has already secured his best offensive season since his 115-point outburst in the 2021-22 campaign, but Huberdeau can still hit the 60-point mark for the sixth time in his 13-year career. The 31-year-old has good value in all fantasy formats for the remainder of the fantasy playoffs.

  • Collin Graf RW | SJ

Sharks' Collin Graf: Returned to minors

Graf was demoted to AHL San Jose on Tuesday.

Graf is currently stuck in a six-game goal drought during which he managed just one helper and eight shots while averaging 17:14 of ice time. In his 33 games this season, the 22-year-old winger has managed five goals and six helpers, including five power-play points. With Graf headed back to the minors, it could be an indication that Tyler Toffoli (lower body) will be ready to return versus Minnesota on Wednesday.

  • Jordan Staal C | CAR

Hurricanes' Jordan Staal: Ready to rock

Staal (lower body) will be in the lineup versus the Sabres on Tuesday, according to Cory Lavalette of the North State Journal.

Following a four-game absence, Staal will return to a middle-six spot versus Buffalo. He has supplied 12 goals, 33 points, 99 shots on net, 42 blocked shots and 127 hits in 71 appearances this season. Carolina will also have Andrei Svechnikov (undisclosed) back in the fold, but Jesperi Kotkaniemi (undisclosed) could be out for at least one week.

  • Jets' Morgan Barron: Opens scoring Monday

Barron scored a goal on two shots in Monday's 3-1 win over the Blues.

Barron ended a 10-game goal drought with his tally at 2:34 of the second period Monday. The 26-year-old forward has six points over his last 12 outings, which is solid work for a fourth-liner, though he has just eight shots on net in that span, so it's likely unsustainable. Overall, he's produced seven goals, 14 points, 79 shots on net, 115 hits and a plus-8 rating through 70 appearances.

  • Adam Lowry C | WPG

Jets' Adam Lowry: Fills empty cage

Lowry scored an empty-net goal on two shots in Monday's 3-1 win over the Blues.

Lowry tacked on the final goal with nine seconds left in the third period. He's scored twice and added two assists over his last seven contests to find a little more offense late in the season following a six-game skid. The 32-year-old center is up to 16 goals, a new career high, while adding 17 assists, 96 shots on net, 129 hits, 57 blocked shots and a plus-19 rating through 70 outings.

  • Oilers' Adam Henrique: Scores, assists Monday

Henrique recorded a goal, an assist, two PIM, three shots on goal and one hit in Monday's 3-2 loss to the Ducks.

Henrique found the twine for the first time since March 26 in a 4-3 loss to the Stars, and perhaps coincidentally, he also recorded a goal and an assist in that contest. Even though Henrique is not known for being a reliable fantasy scoring option, he's ending the season on a strong note and is making the most of the expanded role he's enjoying due to the absences of Leon Draisaitl (undisclosed) and Connor McDavid (lower body). Henrique has six points (three goals, three assists) over his last eight appearances.
