Tim Washe C | ANA
Ducks' Tim Washe: Rejoins NHL club
Washe was elevated from AHL San Diego on Tuesday, per Patrick Present of The Hockey News.
Washe was sent to the AHL prior to the Olympic break to get some games in with the Gulls. He posted a goal, an assist, 14 PIM and a minus-1 rating over six games during that stint in the minors. The 24-year-old will now get back to serving in a depth capacity for the Ducks.

John Tavares C | TOR
Maple Leafs' John Tavares: Slated to suit up Wednesday
Tavares (illness) is expected to be available for Wednesday's divisional matchup in Tampa Bay, Terry Koshan of The Toronto Sun reports.
Tavares didn't practice Tuesday due to the flu, but barring any setbacks, he should be good to go in what will be a crucial game for the Maple Leafs. The 35-year-old will likely skate between Matias Maccelli and William Nylander on the second line against the Bolts on Wednesday.

Ben Jones C | MIN
Wild's Ben Jones: Coming up from Iowa
Jones was recalled from AHL Iowa on Tuesday.
Jones will continue to provide depth for the Wild, as the team had only 12 forwards on the roster prior to calling him up. The 26-year-old has accounted for two points, 25 shots, 53 hits and a minus-10 rating over 26 appearances with the big club this season. It remains to be seen if he will be in the lineup Thursday in Colorado.

Adam Edstrom C | NYR
Rangers' Adam Edstrom: Working in regular sweater
Edstrom (lower body) was sporting a regular jersey at Tuesday's practice session, Colin Stephenson of Newsday reports.
Edstrom looks poised to be ready to play when the Rangers face the Flyers on Thursday. Even if Edstrom is activated off injured reserve before Thursday's tilt, he is far from a lock to play, considering he has managed just four points in 24 games this season. Whenever Edstrom does return, it will likely come at the expense of Brett Berard.

Anton Wahlberg C | BUF
Sabres' Anton Wahlberg: Summoned from Rochester
Wahlberg was recalled from AHL Rochester on Tuesday.
This is Wahlberg's first promotion to the NHL after coming to North America toward the end of the 2023-24 season to play with the Sabres' minor-league affiliate. The Swedish forward, a second-round selection (No. 39 overall) in 2023, has produced six goals, 25 points and a team-high plus-12 rating over 47 appearances with the Americans this season. Due to the Sabres dealing with several injuries up front, Wahlberg is poised to make his NHL debut in New Jersey on Wednesday.

John Tavares C | TOR
Maple Leafs' John Tavares: Not practicing Tuesday
Tavares will miss Tuesday's practice due to illness.
Tavares could be in danger of missing out against the Lightning on Wednesday if his flu symptoms are severe enough. Additionally, the Leafs are heading into a back-to-back, which means the veteran center could be questionable to face the Panthers on Thursday as well.

Radek Faksa C | DAL
Stars' Radek Faksa: Questionable for Wednesday's game
Faksa (upper body) is considered questionable for Wednesday's game against Seattle, Brien Rea of Victory+ reports.
Faksa suffered an upper-body injury while playing for Czechia at the 2026 Winter Olympics, forcing him to miss the team's final two games. While it's not yet clear whether he'll be available against the Kraken, his questionable status suggests that he may not be forced to miss extensive time even if he's sidelined Wednesday.

Jake Lucchini C | NSH
Predators' Jake Lucchini: Inks one-year extension
Lucchini agreed to terms on a one-year, two-way contract extension with Nashville on Monday.
Lucchini is having a great season with AHL Milwaukee, racking up 13 goals and 25 helpers in 48 games this year. Given his offensive upside, the Michigan Tech product could see some minutes at the NHL level before the end of the 2025-26 campaign and could be in the mix for an Opening Night roster spot next year.
-
Josh Norris C | BUF
Sabres' Josh Norris: Will be available Wednesday
Head coach Lindy Ruff said Monday that Norris (ribs) will be available for Wednesday's game against New Jersey, Rachel Lenzi of The Buffalo News reports.
Norris has been sidelined since mid-January due to his rib injury, but he's been cleared to suit up in the Sabres' first game following the Olympic break. Over 19 appearances with Buffalo this year, Norris has racked up six goals, 11 assists, 11 blocked shots and six hits while averaging 15:57 of ice time.

Stephen Halliday C | OTT
Senators' Stephen Halliday: Called up from minors
Halliday was recalled from AHL Belleville on Monday.
Halliday has appeared in 25 games for the Senators during his rookie campaign, notching four goals, seven helpers and 27 shots along the way. If Brady Tkachuk isn't back from his participation in the Winter Olympics, there could be open spots in the lineup for both Halliday and fellow call-up Tyler Boucher against the Red Wings on Thursday.
