  • Nick Suzuki C | MON

Canadiens' Nick Suzuki: Scores, assists Tuesday

Suzuki posted a goal and an assist in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Canucks. He also recorded two hits and a plus-3 rating.

Suzuki snapped a two-game pointless streak with an excellent showing Tuesday, finding the back of the twine just 1:06 into the first period and later setting up Cole Caufield's goal in the second frame. Suzuki has notched five multi-point performances over his last eight games, and he's been among the most productive players in the league since the regular season resumed after the 4 Nations, tallying 15 points (five goals, 10 assists) in that eight-game stretch.

  • Paul Cotter C | NJ

Devils' Paul Cotter: Nets goal after scratch

Cotter scored a goal on two shots and added two PIM in Tuesday's 5-3 win over the Blue Jackets.

Cotter endured a seven-game slump coming out of the 4 Nations Face-Off break. The Devils scratched him Sunday versus the Flyers, but he was back in a fourth-line role Tuesday, and he ended his slump with a first-period tally. The 25-year-old now has a career-high 14 goals, but he's added just six helpers over 65 appearances, so he's still five points back of matching his 2023-24 total of 25 in 76 games. Cotter also has 206 hits, 76 shots on net, 47 PIM and a minus-8 rating. The Devils acquired Cody Glass and Daniel Sprong in trades to bolster their forward depth, so Cotter's spot in the lineup is far from secure down the stretch.

  • Devils' Nico Hischier: Opens scoring on power play

Hischier scored a power-play goal on five shots and added two PIM in Tuesday's 5-3 win over the Blue Jackets.

Hischier has three goals and an assist over six games in March, and three of those points have come on the power play. The 26-year-old center had the first of three tallies for the Devils in the first period. Hischier is up to 27 goals, 50 points (22 on the power play), 159 shots on net, 53 blocked shots and a plus-12 rating over 60 outings. His career high of 31 goals from 2022-23 is within range this season, but a drop in assists makes it virtually impossible for him to match that year's 80-point total.

  • Bruins' Elias Lindholm: Gets on scoresheet with helper

Lindholm logged a power-play assist and two hits in Tuesday's 3-2 win over the Panthers.

Lindholm has three helpers during his eight-game goal drought. The 30-year-old center has seen a role reduction in March, slipping to the third-line center spot after the Bruins flipped Charlie Coyle for Casey Mittelstadt at the deadline. While that's not an encouraging sign in the first year of a seven-year deal, Lindholm still functions as a top-six forward thanks to his special-teams play. He has disappointed with 33 points, 122 shots on net, 97 hits, 65 blocked shots and a minus-7 rating over 66 appearances, and he could miss the 40-point mark for the first time since 2015-16.

  • Pavel Zacha C | BOS

Bruins' Pavel Zacha: Completes comeback Tuesday

Zacha scored a goal on two shots in Tuesday's 3-2 win over the Panthers.

Zacha picked a good time to end an 11-game goal drought, doing so at 16:43 of the third period. That goal gave the Bruins their first lead of the game, and it stood for the win. During the drought, he still managed seven assists, and his ice time has rarely wavered from first-line minutes. He's now at 13 goals, 40 points, 114 shots on net, 42 hits and a plus-2 rating over 66 appearances this season.

  • Jets' Gabriel Vilardi: Nets game-winning goal

Vilardi scored a power-play goal in Tuesday's 2-1 win over the Rangers. He also added one hit and three blocked shots.

Vilardi scored what would end up being the game-winning goal with a wrister in the early stages of the second period following set-ups from Cole Perfetti and Kyle Connor. Vilardi is having a career-best season in 2024-25, notching personal bests in several categories such as goals (27), assists (33) and points (60). He has nine points (three goals, six assists) in 10 games since the regular season resumed following the 4 Nations break.

  • Jets' Vladislav Namestnikov: Scores in win over New York

Namestnikov scored a goal in Tuesday's 2-1 win over the Rangers. He also recorded three shots on goal, two hits and a plus-1 rating.

Namestnikov found the back of the net for the first time since Jan. 30 via a deflection, and the 32-year-old has netted 11 goals across 62 outings on the season. He's scored double-digit goals in three of the last five seasons, but he's not much of a reliable fantasy option given his inconsistencies on a game-to-game basis.

  • Rangers' Mika Zibanejad: Scores in loss to Winnipeg

Zibanejad scored a goal in Tuesday's 2-1 loss to the Jets. He also racked up three shots on goal and three hits.

Zibanejad has scored in two of his last three appearances and is carrying a three-game point streak. He's been on a tear since the regular season resumed after the 4 Nations break, cracking the scoresheet in eight of his 10 outings while tallying 11 points (four goals, seven helpers) over that stretch.

  • Penguins' Filip Hallander: Racks up points in Sweden

Hallander finished second in the Swedish Hockey League with 53 points this season, Seth Rorabaugh of Tribune-Review Sports reports Wednesday.

Hallander has played in three NHL games over his career, with the most recent outing coming back in 2022-23. Selected by the Pens in the second round of the 2018 NHL Draft, the 24-year-old center excelled in Sweden this year, which could convince Pittsburgh to bring him back from overseas.

  • Penguins' Rickard Rakell: Two helpers in Tuesday's OT win

Rakell notched two assists, one on the power play, in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime win over the Golden Knights.

He set up Sidney Crosby tallies in each of the first two periods. Rakell continues to thrive on the Penguins' top line, and the 31-year-old winger sits one goal short of his third career 30-goal campaign -- and first since 2017-18 -- and four points away from reaching 60 for the third time.
