  • Predators' Steven Stamkos: Nets 14th career hat trick

Stamkos scored all three goals in Saturday's 3-2 overtime win over the Blackhawks.

Stamkos also had a tally overturned for being touched with a high stick. He bounced back from that and completed the 14th hat trick of his career -- and his first with Nashville -- with his goal 2:39 into overtime. The 35-year-old has looked like a player in decline for much of the campaign, including his recent 13-game point drought from Jan. 25 to March 2, but he's come alive lately with four goals and four assists over his last three outings. For the season, Stamkos is at 21 goals, 20 assists, 139 shots on net, 52 hits, 40 PIM and a minus-19 rating over 63 appearances.

  • Avalanche's Nathan MacKinnon: First to 100 points this season

MacKinnon had two goals in a 7-4 win over Toronto on Saturday.

One came on the power play, and the other went into an empty net. MacKinnon is the first player to hit the 100-point mark this season, registering 27 goals and 73 assists through 64 appearances. He has six goals and seven assists during his five-game point streak, MacKinnon has earned at least one power-play point in five straight games, collecting three goals and four helpers.

  • Rangers' Jonny Brodzinski: Earns assist Saturday

Brodzinski notched an assist and three shots on goal in Saturday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Senators.

Brodzinski had been held off the scoresheet in the previous four games. The 31-year-old set up an Artemi Panarin tally on the rush in the third period. For the season, Brodzinski has 12 points, 39 shots on net, 21 hits and a plus-9 rating over 32 appearances. He's holding down a bottom-six job, though it's possible the Rangers will scratch him at times to give younger players a look, especially if the team falls out of the playoff race.

  • Rangers' Mika Zibanejad: Scores in overtime loss

Zibanejad scored a goal on two shots in Saturday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Senators.

Zibanejad's second-period tally put the Rangers ahead 2-0 for all of 11 seconds before Brady Tkachuk got the Senators on the board. The three-game goal drought Zibanejad had entering Saturday was his longest since the Rangers reacquired J.T. Miller at the end of January. Zibanejad is up to 14 goals, 45 points, 140 shots on net, 41 blocked shots and a minus-20 rating through 63 appearances this season.

  • Dylan Cozens C | OTT

Senators' Dylan Cozens: Assist in team debut

Cozens notched an assist and nine hits in Saturday's 4-3 overtime win over the Rangers.

The Senators have physicality all over the lineup, and it looks like Cozens will fit right in after posting his highest hit total of the season. The 24-year-old, acquired from the Sabres in the trade that sent Josh Norris to Buffalo on Friday, stepped into a second-line role for his Senators debut. Cozens has gone eight games without a goal, but he's now at 11 tallies, 21 helpers, 140 shots on net, 157 hits, 62 PIM and a minus-13 rating through 62 appearances this season.

  • Ridly Greig C | OTT

Senators' Ridly Greig: Puts away goal Saturday

Greig scored a goal on two shots, added three hits and logged two PIM in Saturday's 4-3 overtime win over the Rangers.

Greig ended an eight-game goal drought with his third-period tally to put the Senators on the comeback trail. The 22-year-old forward is up to 10 goals, 21 points, 86 shots on net, 112 hits, 45 PIM and a minus-11 rating over 59 appearances this season. That's not too different from his 26 points in 72 outings a year ago. Greig is likely to remain in a middle-six role for the rest of the campaign, though he has exceeded 20 minutes of ice time in three of his last seven games.

  • Senators' Michael Amadio: Nets tying goal

Amadio scored a goal on three shots, added four hits and went minus-2 in Saturday's 4-3 overtime win over the Rangers.

Amadio has three points over four contests in March, matching his output from seven games in February. He's also logged multiple hits in five of his last seven outings -- the 28-year-old hasn't been known for a high level of physical play in the past. For the season, he's at seven goals, 10 assists, 60 shots on net, 76 hits, 30 blocked shots and a plus-4 rating over 52 appearances.

  • Bruins' Casey Mittelstadt: First assist with new team

Mittelstadt picked up an assist Saturday in a 4-0 win over Tampa Bay.

In the third period, Mittelstadt set up an odd-man rush for Cole Koepke and David Pastrnak, which the former capitalized on to round out the scoring. Mittestadt possesses plenty of potential and could resurrect his game with Boston after failing to find a fit in Colorado. He had 11 goals and 23 assists in 63 games with the Avalanche before being dealt ahead of Friday's deadline.

  • Islanders' Mathew Barzal: Questionable to return this season

Barzal (kneecap) is not guaranteed to be back before the end of the regular season, Andrew Gross of Newsday reports.

Barzal's injury and subsequent recovery from a minor procedure has taken longer than expected -- he was initially designated to return in the second half of March. The Islanders are on the fringe for a playoff spot and won't rush the 27-year-old back, so he'll only play again this season if he is 100 percent healthy. Fantasy managers in shallow formats can likely let Barzal go at this point since the long layoff will likely negatively impact his performance even if he can get back into action.

  • Bruins' Mark Kastelic: First goal since Dec. 19

Kastelic scored a goal Saturday in a 4-0 win over the Lightning.

The goal was a fluke that will be on the highlight reel for the wrong reasons. Kastelic fired a shot from outside the blue line that may not have hit the net but deflected off Darren Raddysh's stick and caught Andrei Vasilevskiy out of position. It was Kastelic's first goal and third point since Dec. 19 (23 games).
