Owen Beck C | MON
Canadiens' Owen Beck: Back up in NHL
Beck was recalled from AHL Laval on Friday.
The Canadiens described Beck's demotion earlier Friday as a paper move, and that's exactly what it was. The 21-year-old has one assist and an average of 9:48 of ice time per game over 11 appearances, but he's poised to be an NHL regular for at least part of the homestretch of the campaign.

Bruins' Fraser Minten: Dealt to rival
Minten was traded to the Bruins from the Maple Leafs, along with a conditional 2026 first-round pick and a 2025 fourth-round pick, in exchange for Brandon Carlo on Friday, per NHL.com.
Minten highlights the return for Boston in the intra-division deal. The 20-year-old center has logged four points over 19 NHL appearances across the last two seasons. He's a physical player who will likely slot into a middle-six role eventually, but for now, it's expected he'll be with AHL Providence to close out 2024-25.

Josh Dunne C | BUF
Sabres' Josh Dunne: Up from minors
Dunne was recalled by Buffalo on an emergency basis Friday.
Jordan Greenwayand Jack Quinn are both questionable for Saturday's clash against Florida due to illness, and the Sabres could also be without Jason Zucker (lower body), so Dunne might be needed. He has eight goals, 24 points and 44 PIM over 54 appearances with AHL Rochester in 2024-25.

Blackhawks' Philipp Kurashev: Off injured reserve
Kurashev (hand) was activated off injured reserve, setting the stage for him to play Friday versus Utah, per Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times.
Kurashev has six goals and 10 points over 42 outings in 2024-25. He missed three straight games due to the injury. Kurashev will likely serve in a middle-six capacity in his return.

Ozzy Wiesblatt RW | NSH
Predators' Ozzy Wiesblatt: Sent down to AHL
Wiesblatt was reassigned to AHL Milwaukee on Friday, Brooks Bratten of the Predators' official site reports.
Wiesblatt earned his first career helper in Thursday's 5-3 win over the Kraken. The 22-year-old may just be getting involved in a paper move for AHL playoff eligibility. He should see some time with the Predators over the remainder of the campaign before challenging for a full-time role in the fall.
