Connor Dewar C | PIT
Penguins' Connor Dewar: Dealt to Pittsburgh
Dewar and Conor Timmins were traded to the Penguins from the Maple Leafs on Friday in exchange for a 2025 fifth-round pick, Matt Vensel of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.
Due to shoulder and upper-body injuries at various times this season, Dewar was limited to three points over 31 outings with the Maple Leafs. He'll get a fresh start after being traded at the deadline for the second year in a row. He's a physical forward with limited scoring upside, so he'll likely slot into a bottom-six role once he makes his Penguins debut.

Marc McLaughlin C | NJ
Devils' Marc McLaughlin: Involved in minor-league swap
McLaughlin was acquired by New Jersey from Boston on Friday in exchange for Daniil Misyul.
McLaughlin has two goals in 12 outings with Boston in 2024-25. He also has five goals and 14 points in 34 appearances with AHL Providence. McLaughlin is expected to report to AHL Utica.

Rodrigo Abols C | PHI
Flyers' Rodrigo Abols: Recalled by NHL club
Abols was recalled from AHL Lehigh Valley on Friday.
Abols was sent to the minors in early February, but he'll rejoin the Flyers following Friday's trade deadline and will be available for Saturday's matchup against Seattle. Over nine appearances with the Flyers this year, he's recorded a goal, an assist, 10 hits and six blocked shots while averaging 10:19 of ice time.

Mark Jankowski C | CAR
Hurricanes' Mark Jankowski: Swapped for pick
Jankowski was acquired by Carolina from Nashville on Friday in exchange for a 2026 fifth-round pick, according to Brooks Bratten of the Predators' official site.
Jankowski has four goals, nine points, 15 PIM, 23 hits and 20 blocks in 41 appearances with Nashville in 2024-25. He gives Carolina another veteran option for its bottom six, but it wouldn't be shocking if he is also a healthy scratch on occasion.

Collin Graf RW | SJ
Sharks' Collin Graf: Back in NHL
Graf was called up by San Jose on Friday, per Curtis Pashelka of The San Jose Mercury News.
Graf was in the minors for less than a day, but that's enough to keep him eligible for service with AHL San Jose for the remainder of the season. The 22-year-old has a goal, six points, 13 hits and 11 blocks in 20 appearances with the Sharks in 2024-25.

Matthew Poitras C | BOS
Bruins' Matthew Poitras: Dropped to minors
Poitras was reassigned to the minors Friday for AHL eligibility, Mark Divver of the New England Hockey Journal reports.
Poitras is mired in a 23-game goal drought in addition to a nine-game pointless streak, so an extended stay in the minors could be good for his long-term development. Still, the Bruins will need bodies to fill out the lineup the rest of the way and will want to get a look at several young prospects, including the 20-year-old Poitras.

Marat Khusnutdinov C | BOS
Bruins' Marat Khusnutdinov: Dropped to minors
Khusnutdinov was demoted to AHL Providence on Friday to make him eligible for the AHL playoffs, Mark Divver of the New England Hockey Journal reports.
Khusnutdinov will almost certainly be brought back up ahead of Saturday's clash with Tampa, though the fact that he has scored just once in his last 32 outings, along with three helpers, could make his demotion more long term. Still, with the Bruins having just acquired Khusnutdinov from the WIld on Thursday, the team will likely want to give him an extended look.
-
Vinni Lettieri C | TOR
Bruins' Vinni Lettieri: Sent to minors
Lettieri was reassigned to AHL Providence on Friday, per Mark Divver of the New England Hockey Journal.
Lettieri has two goals in nine appearances with Boston in 2024-25. He also has 20 goals and 48 points in 46 outings with Providence. This move is likely a paper transaction to maintain his AHL eligibility for the rest of the season, so he'll probably rejoin Boston in the near future.
-
Patrick Brown C | BOS
Bruins' Patrick Brown: Sent back to minors
Brown was sent to AHL Providence on Friday, Mark Divver of the New England Hockey Journal reports.
Brown was recalled by the Bruins on Wednesday, but he'll head back to the minors following a brief stint with the NHL club. However, the 32-year-old was one of several players sent down Friday in order to make them eligible for the AHL playoffs, so it's possible that Brown rejoins Boston soon. Brown has made three NHL appearances this season, recording seven hits, two PIM and two blocked shots while averaging 10:56 of ice time.

John Hayden C | SEA
Kraken's John Hayden: Up from minors
Hayden was called up by Seattle on Friday, per Curtis Crabtree of Fox 13 Seattle.
Hayden has 11 goals and 27 points in 43 appearances with AHL Coachella Valley this season. He also has a goal and an assist in seven outings with Seattle. Now that the dust has settled on the Kraken's trade-deadline activity, Hayden might be in the mix for a fourth-line role for the rest of the season.
