Avalanche's Martin Necas: Contributes power-play assist
Necas logged a power-play assist and three shots on goal in Friday's 5-2 win over the Wild.
Necas has earned four helpers, including three on the power play, over his last two games. He hasn't scored a goal in four contests, but Necas can be productive in a variety of ways while playing on the top line and first power-play unit. For the season, the 26-year-old forward has 20 goals, 48 assists, 148 shots on net, 51 hits and a plus-5 rating over 61 appearances between the Avalanche and the Hurricanes. MacKinnon managed a power-play assist, two shots on goal and two PIM in Friday's 5-2 win over the Wild.
MacKinnon set up Valeri Nichushkin's tally at 13:58 of the first period, tying the game at 1-1. This was MacKinnon's fourth point over the last two games, three of which have come on the power play. The NHL's leader in points is up to 91 of them, which includes 23 goals and 68 assists over 61 appearances. Jack Drury C | COL
Avalanche's Jack Drury: Deposits go-ahead goal
Drury scored a goal on three shots and went plus-2 in Friday's 5-2 win over the Wild.
Drury ended his eight-game point drought with the tally, which ended up being the game-winner. The 25-year-old center has been playing on the third line lately, and while his value hasn't shown up in offense, he offers a bit of defensive stability and good faceoff skills, areas that the Avalanche were lacking in the bottom six. For the season, Drury has six goals, 12 points, 79 shots on net, 33 blocked shots and a minus-2 rating over 51 appearances between Colorado and Carolina.

Ross Colton C | COL
Avalanche's Ross Colton: Breaks out with three-point effort
Colton scored twice on five shots, added an assist, logged two hits and went plus-2 in Friday's 5-2 win over the Wild.
Colton has four points over his last two games, including a power-play empty-netter to close out Friday's win. Prior to this burst of offense, he had gone 14 contests without a point. That makes it tough to trust Colton in fantasy, though his physicality partially makes up for the times when his offense is quiet. He's at 15 goals, five assists, six power-play points, 96 shots on net, 104 hits and a a minus-6 rating through 44 appearances this season.

Danault notched an assist and five shots on goal in Friday's 6-2 loss to the Stars.

Danault is now at five goals, 26 helpers, 89 shots on net, 61 hits, 55 blocked shots and a plus-12 rating over 56 appearances. He continues to play on the second line and should offer supporting offense as well as strong two-way play down the stretch.

Duchene scored a power-play goal on two shots in Friday's 6-2 win over the Kings.

Duchene is up to 24 goals on the season, one back of his 80-game total from the 2023-24 regular season. He's also reached the 60-point mark while adding 110 shots on net and a plus-10 rating over 59 appearances. At his current pace, Duchene is on track to reach the 80-point mark for the second time in his career.

Stars' Sam Steel: Goal, assist in win
Steel scored a shorthanded goal, added an assist and went plus-2 in Friday's 6-2 win over the Kings.

The 27-year-old helped out on a Logan Stankoven goal just after a power play expired in the first period, and he added his shortie in the final frame. Steel reached the 20-point mark for the fifth time in his career (six goals, 14 assists), and he's also scored at least one shorthanded goal in three straight seasons. He's added 75 shots on net, 46 hits and an even plus-minus rating through 57 appearances in 2024-25.

Stankoven has three points over two contests since he was scratched versus the Islanders on Sunday. The 22-year-old ended a five-game goal drought with a first-period tally and added another goal in the third. Stankoven is up to nine goals, 28 points, 147 shots on net, 42 hits and a plus-2 rating over 56 appearances. He's seen even-strength time on the first line lately, which could set him up for a strong finish to the campaign if he stays there.

Rangers' J.T. Miller: Nabs helper Friday
Miller notched an assist, two shots on goal and two hits in Friday's 3-2 loss to the Maple Leafs.

Miller has three goals and three assists during his four-game point streak, and he's at 14 goals, 31 helpers, 98 shots on net, 123 hits and a minus-4 rating over 49 appearances between the Rangers and the Canucks this season.
