Mika Zibanejad C | NYR
Rangers' Mika Zibanejad: One of each in loss
Zibanejad scored a goal on three shots, added a shorthanded assist and logged two PIM in Friday's 3-2 loss to the Maple Leafs.
Zibanejad's early penalty in the first period led to the Maple Leafs' first goal. The 31-year-old redeemed himself by tying the score at 1-1 later in the frame, and he set up Will Cuylle's tally in the third that evened the score at two apiece, but it wasn't enough. Zibanejad is still on a roll -- he got on the scoresheet in eight of nine games in February, earning four goals and nine assists for the month, which is nearly a third of his production all season. He's at 13 goals, 42 points (15 on the power play, three shorthanded), 131 shots on net and a minus-21 rating across 59 appearances.

Max Domi C | TOR
Maple Leafs' Max Domi: Notches assist with man advantage
Domi posted a power-play assist in Friday's 3-2 win over the Rangers.
Domi has six helpers across his last nine games, and four of them have come on the power play. He set up an Oliver Ekman-Larsson tally early in the first period of this contest. Domi ends February stuck in a 26-game goal drought, and while he has 12 helpers in that span, it's not really enough to offset the lack of scoring from a fantasy perspective. Overall, he's at 23 points (six on the power play), 71 shots on net, 38 PIM and a plus-3 rating through 51 appearances.

Auston Matthews C | TOR
Maple Leafs' Auston Matthews: Extends point streak to eight games
Matthews logged an assist, two shots on goal and three blocked shots in Friday's 3-2 win over the Rangers.
Matthews has a goal and 10 assists during his eight-game point streak, which he's kept alive with a single helper in each of the last three contests. His assist was timely Friday, as he set up Matthew Knies off a turnover for the game-winning goal. Matthews is up to 21 goals, 28 helpers, 173 shots on net, 58 blocked shots and a plus-4 rating through 44 appearances this season. A couple of injuries have hampered his ability to put up big numbers, but he's on track to finish above a point-per-game pace for the eighth year in a row.

J.T. Miller C | NYR
Rangers' J.T. Miller: Slated to play Friday
Miller (illness) is expected to play in Friday's game versus the Maple Leafs, Peter Baugh of The Athletic reports.
Miller was considered a game-time call after missing practice Thursday, but he participated in Friday's morning skate. He should occupy a top-six role and is expected to center a line with Will Cuylle and Mika Zibanejad since Chris Kreider (upper body) is out of the lineup for a third straight game. Miller has earned nine points over eight games since the Rangers traded for him in a deal with the Canucks.

Cole Sillinger C | CLB
Blue Jackets' Cole Sillinger: Set to miss time
General manager Don Waddell announced Friday that Sillinger (upper body) "will be out for a little while," Mark Scheig of The Hockey Writers reports.
Sillinger sustained an upper-body injury in the first period of Thursday's game against the Red Wings, and it appears as though he'll be forced to miss additional time. It's not yet clear when he'll be able to return, but Mikael Pyyhtia will likely enter the lineup after he was called up Friday.

Philipp Kurashev C | SJ
Blackhawks' Philipp Kurashev: Dealing with hand injury
Kurashev missed Friday's practice due to a hand injury, per Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times.
Kurashev has six goals and 10 points over 42 appearances in 2024-25. If he can't play Saturday versus Anaheim, then Lukas Reichel will probably draw back into the lineup after spending the Blackhawks' previous two games in the press box.

Brayden Schenn C | NYI
Blues' Brayden Schenn: Adds two helpers in 1,000th game
Schenn notched two assists, two hits, two blocked shots and a plus-3 rating in Thursday's 5-2 win over the Capitals.
Schenn made his 1,000th NHL regular-season appearance in Thursday's contest. He celebrated the milestone with his second multi-point effort in five games. The 33-year-old has a goal and five assists over that span, and he's up to 36 points, 106 shots on net, 150 hits, 48 PIM and a minus-3 rating through 60 outings this season.

Evan Rodrigues C | FLA
Panthers' Evan Rodrigues: Eight shots on goal in win
Rodrigues was held without a point but recorded eight shots on goal in 13:33 of ice time in Thursday's 4-3 win over the Oilers.
As was evidenced during last year's Stanley Cup Final that saw him post four goals and seven points in the seven-game series, Rodrigues can be a streaky player. That's been the case this year, and he's currently on the downturn, as he's recorded one point over his last six games. However, despite seeing his fewest minutes in his last 11 appearances Thursday, the 31-year-old blew past his previous season high with eight shots on goal, perhaps signaling one of his hot streaks could be on the way. Considering his role as a top-six forward, Rodrigues is definitely an option for fantasy managers looking for a high-ceiling add down the stretch.

Radek Faksa C | DAL
Blues' Radek Faksa: Empty-net assist in big win
Faksa picked up an assist on an empty-net goal while recording two hits in 13:15 of ice time during a 5-2 win over the Capitals on Thursday.
An assist on an empty-net goal was what it took to get Faksa on the scoresheet for the third time in his last 15 games. Being trusted defensively in extra-attacker situations leaves the door open for empty-net opportunities such as Thursday, but offense at even strength is not one of the best parts of his game. More of a physical presence, the 31-year-old is on pace for 125 hits on the season, which would be four off of his career-high.

Dylan Holloway LW | STL
Blues' Dylan Holloway: Nets game-winner Thursday
Holloway scored a goal on two shots, added two hits and blocked two shots in Thursday's 5-2 win over the Capitals.
Holloway put the Blues ahead for good at 17:23 of the second period. The 23-year-old recorded five points over eight outings in February -- while far from his best pace in a month this season, he enters March on a three-game point streak as he looks to be back in a groove on offense. For the season, the Alberta native has 18 goals (five game-winners), 43 points, 136 shots on net, 133 hits and a plus-11 rating across 60 appearances.
