Leo Carlsson C | ANA
Ducks' Leo Carlsson: Stays warm with power-play goal
Carlsson scored a power-play goal on two shots and blocked four shots in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the Sabres.
Carlsson's point streak is up to four games (two goals, three assists). He appears to have benefited from his stint with Team Sweden during the 4 Nations Face-Off -- he's come back to the NHL ranks confident and productive in a top-six role. The 20-year-old center is up to 11 goals, 23 points (five on the power play), 64 shots on net and a plus-1 rating over 51 appearances. He'll have to keep scoring to work his way into the fantasy mix, as he doesn't add much physicality.

Mason McTavish C | ANA
Ducks' Mason McTavish: Strikes on power play in loss
McTavish scored a power-play goal on two shots in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the Sabres.
McTavish ended a four-game goal drought and contributed on the power play for the first time since Jan. 25. The 22-year-old continues to be fairly effective in a middle-six role, adding a bit of toughness and a depth-scoring touch. He's at 14 goals, 29 points (eight on the power play), 110 shots on net, 51 hits, 28 PIM and a minus-5 rating through 51 appearances this season.

Philip Tomasino C | PHI
Penguins' Philip Tomasino: Nets lone goal in blowout loss
Tomasino scored a goal in Tuesday's 6-1 loss to the Flyers.
Tomasino briefly gave the Penguins some hope with his second-period tally, but the Flyers stretched their lead to 5-1 by the end of the frame. With three goals and two assists over seven games in February, Tomasino is looking good in a middle-six role, and he's also featuring on the power play. He's up to 16 points, 68 shots on net, 36 hits and a minus-4 rating over 42 contests between the Penguins and the Predators this season.

Martin Pospisil C | CGY
Flames' Martin Pospisil: Opens scoring in win
Pospisil scored a goal and added seven hits in Tuesday's 3-1 win over the Capitals.
The Flames' lack of scoring depth has often led to Pospisil playing higher in the lineup, but he's been on the fourth line since the 4 Nations Face-Off ended. That's a good spot for his heavy playing style, and he's found quick chemistry with Kevin Rooney and Ryan Lomberg. Pospisil has seven points over his last 11 outings, and he's up to four goals, 20 points, 76 shots on net, 199 hits, 74 PIM and a plus-3 rating through 57 appearances this season.

Jonathan Huberdeau C | CGY
Flames' Jonathan Huberdeau: Adds insurance goal in win
Huberdeau scored a goal on two shots and added two PIM in Tuesday's 3-1 win over the Capitals.
Huberdeau's third-period tally restored a two-goal lead for the Flames. He's on a six-game point streak consisting of three goals and four assists dating back to Feb. 2 versus the Kraken. The 31-year-old Huberdeau now has 22 goals, 43 points, 107 shots on net and a minus-6 rating across 57 appearances. It's on track to be the best of his three years with the Flames, though the team's low-scoring tendencies have limited his upside even in a top-line role.

Mitchell Stephens C | SEA
Kraken's Mitchell Stephens: Demoted to minors
Stephens was reassigned to AHL Coachella Valley on Wednesday.
Stephens is currently mired in an eight-game pointless streak during which he added just nine hits, five shots and one block while averaging 8:26 of ice time. With the Kraken off until Saturday's matchup with Vancouver, this could be a simple paper transaction, though it could also be an indication that Yanni Gourde (abdomen) will be ready to return soon.

Logan Stankoven C | CAR
Stars' Logan Stankoven: Bounces back after scratch
Stankoven logged an assist in Tuesday's 6-4 loss to the Blue Jackets.
Stankoven helped out on a Mavrik Bourque tally in the third period. Stankoven had been scratched Sunday versus the Islanders, and that may happen again on occasion down the stretch since the Stars have 13 healthy forwards on the roster and could get Tyler Seguin (hip) back prior to the playoffs. For the season, Stankoven has 26 points, 143 shots on net and a minus-1 rating over 55 outings, so he'll need to score a bit more consistently to keep himself out of the press box.
-
Sean Kuraly C | BOS
Blue Jackets' Sean Kuraly: Provides helper in win
Kuraly logged an assist and three hits in Tuesday's 6-4 win over the Stars.
Kuraly set up James van Riemsdyk's tally in the third period, which was ultimately the game-winner. The helper ended a 12-game point drought for Kuraly, who added 14 shots on net, 20 hits and 10 blocked shots in that span. The Blue Jackets aren't at full health, but they have enough players available to keep Kuraly on the fourth line. He has 12 points, 53 shots on net, 126 hits and an even plus-minus rating over 58 appearances this season, mainly in a bottom-six role.

Shane Pinto C | OTT
Senators' Shane Pinto: Ruled out for Wednesday's game
Pinto (upper body) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against Winnipeg, TSN 1200 Ottawa reports.
Pinto suffered an upper-body injury against Tampa Bay on Feb. 4, and he remains out following the league's break for the 4 Nations Face-Off. It's not yet clear when he'll be able to return, but his next opportunity to do so will be Saturday against the Sharks.

Josh Norris C | BUF
Senators' Josh Norris: Unavailable versus Jets
Norris (upper body) will not be an option against Winnipeg on Wednesday, TSN 1200 Ottawa reports.
In addition to Norris, the Senators will be without Brady Tkachuk (lower body) and Shane Pinto (upper body), forcing them to utilize seven defensemen versus the Jets. It will be the sixth straight game on the shelf for the 25-year-old Norris, though that hasn't stopped him from reaching the 30-point threshold for the fourth time in his five-year NHL career. WIth just one more tally, Norris will have scored 20 goals this year, a mark he is more than capable of reaching when he can stay healthy.
