Marc Gatcomb C | NYI
Islanders' Marc Gatcomb: Logs helper
Gatcomb notched an assist and six hits in Sunday's 4-3 loss to the Stars.
This was Gatcomb's first assist of the season and his fourth point over seven contests. The 25-year-old has settled into a fourth-line role since making his NHL debut Jan. 14 against the Senators. In addition to his four points, he has 13 shots on net, 54 hits, nine PIM and an even plus-minus rating over 13 appearances. That level of production may help in extremely deep fantasy formats, but Gatcomb is far away from having widespread appeal.

Kyle MacLean C | NYI
Islanders' Kyle MacLean: Registers assist in loss
MacLean provided an assist in Sunday's 4-3 loss to the Stars.
MacLean snapped a three-game point drought. He's actually improved recently with three points over his last seven outings, but it'll be tough for him to keep it up while he's firmly on the fourth line. The 25-year-old center is up to eight points, 41 shots on net, 73 hits and a minus-10 rating through 56 appearances this season.

Brock Nelson C | COL
Islanders' Brock Nelson: Picks up helper
Nelson logged an assist and three shots on goal in Sunday's 4-3 loss to the Stars.
Nelson has four points and 16 shots on net over his last four contests. The 33-year-old has been excellent in a second-line role this season, giving the Islanders some stability on offense. He's up to 36 points, 150 shots on net and a plus-2 rating through 56 appearances. That production doesn't play in all fantasy formats, especially with a lack of physicality, but Nelson's consistency can add some appeal.

Bo Horvat C | NYI
Islanders' Bo Horvat: Garners helper in loss
Horvat notched an assist and three shots on goal in Sunday's 4-3 loss to the Stars.
Horvat has earned three points over his last six outings. The 29-year-old center hasn't picked up a multi-point effort since Jan. 20 versus the Blue Jackets, but he remains in a top-line role as a key part of the Islanders' offense. For the season, he's at 41 points, 161 shots on net, 73 hits and a plus-10 rating over 55 appearances. He'll need a big push to close out the season to get to the 60-point mark for the third season in a row.

Kyle Palmieri RW | NYI
Islanders' Kyle Palmieri: Lights lamp in loss
Palmieri scored a goal on five shots in Sunday's 4-3 loss to the Stars.
Palmieri's tally tied the game at 2-2 in the second period. The winger has five goals and an assist over his last seven outings while filling a second-line role. For the season, he's been pretty steady with 17 goals, 38 points, 105 shots, 36 hits and a minus-5 rating across 56 appearances. A return to last year's 30-goal performance is unlikely, but he could reach the 50-point mark for the second year in a row and the fifth time in his career.

Oskar Back C | DAL
Stars' Oskar Back: Draws assist in Sunday's win
Back logged an assist and two PIM in Sunday's 4-3 win over the Islanders.
Back has a helper in two of his last three games. The Swedish forward continues to hold onto a fourth-line role for the Stars, and while that hasn't led to much offense, it shows the team trusts him to handle defensive duties. For the year, he's at 13 points, 30 shots on net and a plus-3 rating across 52 appearances.

Evgeni Malkin C | PIT
Penguins' Evgeni Malkin: One of each in loss
Malkin potted a goal on his only shot and added an assist and a plus-1 rating in Sunday's 5-3 loss to the Rangers.
Malkin opened the scoring in the first period and set up Ryan Shea's first goal of the season early in the final frame. Malkin has a goal and two assists in back-to-back games since returning from a six-game absence due to a lower-body injury. The veteran center upped his season totals to 10 goals and 37 points over 49 appearances. The 38-year-old is currently centering Danton Heinen and Cody Glass on the second line in addition to receiving power-play time with the No. 2 unit.

Mavrik Bourque C | DAL
Stars' Mavrik Bourque: Collects helper
Bourque produced an assist in Sunday's 4-3 win over the Islanders.
Bourque has gotten on the scoresheet in each of his last five games, earning two goals and three assists in that span. He helped out on a Jason Robertson tally at 8:48 of the second period in Sunday's contest to keep the streak going. Bourque has had a bit of a long adjustment period to the NHL, but it looks like he's found his footing lately. He's up to 18 points, 54 shots on net, 28 hits, 24 blocked shots and a plus-3 rating across 51 outings in 2024-25.

Wyatt Johnston C | DAL
Stars' Wyatt Johnston: Contributes power-play helper
Johnston logged a power-play assist and three shots on goal in Sunday's 4-3 win over the Islanders.
Johnston has earned five points, including three on the power play and one shorthanded, over his last three games. The 21-year-old has thrived even when moving around the lineup this season as he continues to prove himself a key part of the Stars' future. He's now at 50 points (15 on the power play) with 154 shots on net and a plus-11 rating across 57 appearances this season.

Matt Duchene C | DAL
Stars' Matt Duchene: Earns two power-play helpers
Duchene registered two power-play assists and two shots on goal in Sunday's 4-3 win over the Islanders.
Duchene has picked up right where he left off before the 4 Nations Face-Off -- this was his fourth multi-point effort in a row. He helped out on two of Jason Robertson's three goals in Sunday's win. Duchene has five goals and five assists during his current streak and is up to 23 goals, 36 helpers, 20 power-play points, 107 shots on net and a plus-12 rating over 57 appearances this season. He's finished above a point-per-game pace just once in his career in 2021-22 with the Predators, but he fits well in his role with the Stars and could maintain his current pace despite a lofty 21.5 shooting percentage.
