  • Maple Leafs' Oliver Ekman-Larsson: Snags two helpers

Ekman-Larsson registered two assists in Monday's 4-3 win over the Avalanche.

Ekman-Larsson was able to close out a four-game pointless streak, though he remains stuck in a five-game goal drought. Despite the slump, the veteran blueliner is on pace to cross the 30-point threshold for just the second time in the last six seasons and could even reach 40 for the first time since 2018-19 when he was with Arizona.

  • Jacob Bryson D | WPG

Sabres' Jacob Bryson: Scores goal in loss

Bryson scored a goal in Monday's 4-3 loss to Florida.

Bryson tallied Buffalo's first goal of the contest near the midway point of the opening period. With the twine finder, the 28-year-old blueliner is up to two goals, five points, 10 shots on net and 14 blocks through 28 games this season. His second goal of the year helped him set a new career high in markers and also snapped his eight-game scoreless streak. He remains off the fantasy radar in all formats until he finds a way to maintain consistent playing time amidst a strong defenseman room in Buffalo.

  • Ryan Graves D | PIT

Penguins' Ryan Graves: Called up from minors

Graves was promoted from AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Tuesday.

Graves' call-up comes after Erik Karlsson (lower body) was placed on injured reserve. Even with his elevation to the NHL roster, the 30-year-old Graves is far from a lock to play in Tuesday's matchup with the Lightning. In his 17 NHL games this year, Graves has managed just one point, 19 shots and 13 hits.

  • Penguins' Erik Karlsson: Lands on injured reserve

Karlsson was placed on injured reserve Tuesday with a lower-body injury. Per Seth Rorabaugh of Tribune-Review Sports, Karlsson will be out of action for at least two weeks.

Karlsson logged 23:12 of ice time in Sunday's clash with the Bruins, so it's not immediately clear when he suffered this lower-body injury. In order to bolster the team's defensive options, Ryan Graves was called up from the minors in a corresponding move. Karlsson has just one goal in his last 12 outings, but he has chipped in seven helpers over that stretch.

  • Lightning's Darren Raddysh: Six-game, 12-point streak

Raddysh had two assists Monday in a 5-1 win over the Flyers.

Raddysh has 12 points (four goals, eight assists) during a six-game point streak. He has now moved into the better-than-point-per-game territory with 39, including 12 goals, in 38 games. Both numbers are career marks. We don't think Raddysh will ever recreate this magic in another season, but he's fantasy gold right now.

  • Esa Lindell D | DAL

Stars' Esa Lindell: Logs two assists against Kings

Lindell recorded two assists, a blocked shot and a hit during Monday's 3-1 win over Los Angeles.

Lindell had recorded just one point over his eight appearances leading up to Monday's matchup, but he bounced back with a multi-point performance against Los Angeles, which marked his fifth outing this season with two points. Lindell is now up to four goals and 16 helpers through 46 appearances during the 2025-26 campaign, and he's on pace to surpass his career-best mark of 21 assists this year.

  • Sharks' Vincent Desharnais: Set to travel with team

Head coach Ryan Warsofsky said Monday that Desharnais (upper body) is expected to travel with the Sharks ahead of their upcoming four-game road trip, Max Miller of NHL.com reports.

Desharnais has been sidelined since late November due to his upper-body injury, but he returned to practice Jan. 4 and appears to be closing in on a return to game action. The Sharks' road trip runs from Thursday in Washington through Jan. 20 in Tampa Bay, and while it's not yet clear exactly when Desharnais will return, it seems likely that he'll be an option for the team sometime during the next week.

  • Sharks' Shakir Mukhamadullin: Joining team on trip

Mukhamadullin (upper body) will be with the Sharks for their four-game road trip, Max Miller of NHL.com reports Monday.

Mukhamadullin has missed San Jose's last four contests but looks close to getting back into the lineup. If the 24-year-old does get activated off injured reserve for Thursday's matchup with Washington, it will likely come at the expense of Sam Dickinson or Vincent Iorio.

  • Colin Miller D | WPG

Jets' Colin Miller: Lands on IR

Miller (lower body) was placed on injured reserve Monday.

In a corresponding move, Winnipeg recalled Isaak Phillips from AHL Manitoba. Miller will miss at least the next three games, starting with Tuesday's matchup against the Islanders, after getting hurt in Sunday's 4-3 win over New Jersey. However, it's unclear when he will be ready to return. He has chipped in one assist, 16 shots on goal, 10 blocked shots and 25 hits across 15 appearances this season.

  • Jacob Trouba D | ANA

Ducks' Jacob Trouba: Returns to practice

Trouba (personal) was on the ice for Monday's practice session, Zach Cavanagh of The Sporting Tribune reports.

Trouba should be back in the lineup for Tuesday's meeting with the Stars, linking up with Jackson LaCombe on the top pairing. With the veteran back in the lineup, Drew Helleson figures to be the odd man out on the blue line. In 44 games this year, Trouba has generated seven goals, 11 assists and 85 hits.
